hey guys..
i've got a big problem... when i try to turn on my x1, there are 2 LEDS blinking three times in red and thats it?!
i tried to load, to connect with pc .... nothing..
i had some problame your battery must be really low. Have you tired charging it for a while then turning it on. i had to put my into rom mode (multicolur screen) let it charge via laptop for a while then charged again via plugpoint and it worked again.
search for a thread by http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=441328
I charged my phone before I went to bed last night and then left it unplugged (not charging) when I went up stairs to sleep. When I woke up this morning my phone was off, so I tried turning it on and I kept getting 3 blinking red lights on the power button. I tried it several times and it wouldn't turn on, just blinked at me. So I held the button down for about 10 seconds, after about 3 or 4 more of the 3X blinking red lights I get no response. Just that dead feeling you get when one of your electronics no longer works.
So I go down stairs and plug it in to charge and leave it for a bit, a while later I was able to turn it on. Found the battery at 2%, thought that was odd since I was at 100% when I went to bed and had the screen off all night (to my knowledge).
Is the blinking red light serious or does it just mean "your battery is so low your phone can't turn on"?
If the light blinks red it can mean several things. In your case it is not serious, i had this problem myself and i have searched for it, i found threads of people having the same issue and their phone came back to life after a few hours of charging.
So actually its just the battery being dead, it needs more charging even too show the charging progress screen lol.
In my experience the light also blinks red when you flash a firmware version of the xperia arc on your xperia play (lol XD).
The blinking red lights are an indication that your phone battery is drained and needs to be charged before the phone can switch on. There's nothing wrong with your phone.
thanks for the reassurance guys

same happend to me after flash, any idea to fix my old ultra z? I need it for testing an old app
I don't know what happened , I left the phone to charge last night , and just this morning , it refuses to start up .
There is a red light flashing repeatedly
I removed the battery and put it back in
Final state : Red light
This is terrible , not even 1 week in owning it , and it dies (I think)
Any opinions / Suggestions on how to recover / what to do ?
Thanks

Try a different battery if not send it back, have you rooted it at all? May have trouble if you have when sending it back if,
You could also try flashing the phone and see if that gives you any joy

If LED blinks 3 times in a row when you try to turn the phone ON - that means the battery is dead.
It's a common problem for me. Had it both on X8 and now on Play:
Phone dies because battery goes down to 0%. Then I plug it in to the charger and now LED blinks red - no offline battery charging on the screen. I thinks it's a kind of phone's bug or something. I have to unplug it and plug it again, then it's charging - LED constantly shows RED colour, then ORANGE and finally when battery is almost full - GREEN and battery animation is showed on the screen.
You probably had the same problem as me with that offline charging.
hi guys!
it's been a while i'm flashing roms and roms on my defy+.. yesterday i tryed quarx cm9 and it was amazing! like i said in the thread the only problem i had was about the battery indicator.. it showed always 100%.. i wiped battery stats, chace, dalvik, reboot and nothing changed.
then in the night my defy died like always.. but now i can't charge it!!! if i connect it on normal charger i get white led and then the battery icon full screen with a "?" inside.. if i plug it in my pc i get white led..
after one night "charging" i managed to boot up, and it shows 5%.. and it's not charging even if it's plugged in!!! the cable is working, i've already tested it..
i tryed to flash an other rom, but i'm not sure it's a good idea, because even if it's plugged in, i open the recovery mode and after few minutes dies again...
if i try to go to the bootloader it says:low battery, cannot program.
what should i do???
thanks guys!!!
solved..
today i'll go to some electronic shop trying to find a table charger or a already charged battery.. and in the worst case i'll try mcguyver..
From yesterday (18/07/2019), my OP5 have started facing issue.
First when i tried to charge my phone , LED was showing red but the battery was not charging. Then i restarted my phone. So it was charging but slow charging (still red LED).
did some google research and finally cleared device cache memory through recovery.
I rebooted and plugged my charger. First it showed red (slow) , then after few minutes it showed blue led (DASH).
I thgt problem is solved.
Today morning again kept for charging and now it is slowing red LED. if i press the plug into port storngly after few minutes it becomes blue.
Im not able to understand whether its hardware or software issue.
Please guuide

To check if it's a hardware issue you should exchange your dash charger and the original dash charge cable if possible or clean all the pins and check if they're damaged.
