Hi,
On my sons Iphone, he gets stock quotes with a push on an icon...
Can this be done with a Diamond?

Something like this maybe? I'm working on it.

I'm not sure yet. I just started playing around with it a few days ago in my spare time. I'll probably post a beta within a couple weeks, or maybe tomorrow, who knows.

WOW...this may save me another grand (by not getting the HD) if you can get that running. I like the appearance and format, as well as the research options.

Right now, just using http://wireless.etrade.com. Not as fast, and interested in getting it into a tab in TF3D (see there is manila files from the HD already on this site, so may get my wish). I like the format of this one much better, so may run both (depending on final product, and visibility of all the markets).

i was searching for the same thing and now i use Equity Expert. It works fine and looks ok.

I'm all good with competition. I was really just doing it for myself, but I saw a few threads like this one and thought others might enjoy it too. If you like it, help me make it better. If you like something else, that's cool too, post a link for others.

This matches my theme much better, so you are my favorite person today as well. I will run both yours, and the TF3D tab from the HD. I like your format much better. The HD tab will give me quick glance, but your tab will help me make decisions wirelessly before I buy/sell on my E*Trade account.

So I am very pleased with the great work there has been done..
Alas, I can not install it because my diamond refuses to install Net CF 3.5.
I get an errormessage about freeing space (lots of space left) and about a "errormessage" 2
Can somebody please help?
I got the ice of changing in the registry:

click on 2.0.7045.00 - 1 to 0
click on 3.5.7283.00 - 0 to 1
3.5.7283.00 isn't even in mmy registery....

I agree the Equity Expert is very nice VGA stock quotes applications and its also ready to work with the Touch HD, Omnia and Xperia devices !

One alternative is to find a good PDA friendly portfolio-tracking website and bookmark that. Anyone know of any?

I apologize is this is a foolish question, but does the fact that its compiled in x86 mean that is could never be recompiled for arm devices?

Can it be recompiled for ARM? I know w/ the android emulators when an SDK was realeased they could inject it into a ROM for use, like when the 2.1 SDK came out, dev's used it to make a ROM...and if this is a true sys dump shouldn't it be even easier to re-compile for arm? or am i just talking out my arse..(probly am)

Thanks anyway, I think I'm going to run it on my tablet pc. Nice big (touch)screen, large keyboard, usb hosting capabilities. Only problem is maybe that it doesn't have 3 buttons

APP---11 June 2010 - Magic Poker - A must have app!

This is a post for my friend Jonathan, he has made an awesome app that will scramble your friends brains. It's free and on the market place. He doesn't tell u how to do the trick, but with a little practice and a guess he will email u the directions. See his email below.
Hey guys, this is my first android app. It's called magic poker flip, which is a poker magic property app. You can use it to flip out others selected card by touching the screen. Show it on a party will be cool. You may watch my video here.
Now the android version is on android market as a free app. It's now v2.0, and tested well on 2.1 & 2.2. Not sure about 1.6 & 2.0, but seems can't work on 1.5. The secret of the trick is hidden inside the app, maybe you can guess by yourself how the trick works or try to find the solution somewhere in the app.

It's two month after my app was published, and tomorrow will be my 21st birthday, so I think it's time to reveal the secret to all you guys, no matter you've solved it or still stuck in it or planning to download it.
The solution of the trick is hidden in 'tutorial', you can enter and reverse your phone to check it if you can't figure it out.
Here I want to thank all the guys who sent my email or PM, your encouragements are my motivation to go further.
For the WM users, really sorry for the delay of your version. I promise it will be OK at early September, at which time I may finish my school project.

yes, you can play it with your friend after you get the right solution to the app, like i did in the video.

By the way, this app is really awesome. Smart technique.
Final EDIT: I've solved it! This magic app is by far the most innovative and well thought off that I have seen. (unlike some iphone magic apps that I've tried)

Why is it he uses the computer to pick a card? I don't really get it.
I've tried pointing so the camera can see the card and I've tried saying what the card is, the app just gives a random card :?

When he finishes his exams, he is going to work on a WM version, but has quite a bit of coding to do. Wish him luck on his exams and I'm sure we'll see Magic Poker and others like it this summer. That's windows phone 7, aka WP7, not Windows 7...that's a desktop OS. The link mr8820 supplied is the closest thing you'll get to that, which is to run it via a remote desktop connection (I do it all the time, love it, works great).
Now, if you are asking about WP7 on the HD2...I know some devs were trying to see if they could get leaked development version of WP7 (since the final version isn't out in the wild yet) working on the HD2, including our own Da_G, but I don't think they ever got very far as there's some serious driver and other issues to overcome

Motorola have promised it before the end of the year. Given that Intel have ported JB to their platform and hopefully Google will be involved on some level, I am hopeful for a fairly rapid update. But who knows.

How did they tell you this? There is a leak of a slightly updated firmware but still on 4.0.4. Very exciting news though.

Just wondering if anyone managed to install Skype on this device? It seems to only work on ARM based devices, so just wondering if it works on the Razr I. I love the look of this phone, however, skype is a must for me.
Can anyone let me know if it is compatible?

Yep, when I installed an emulator on my PC, I could also get into the login screen. It is when you try login that it crashes. Can you perhaps login n try? I setup a test account:

That lag disappeared with an upgrade to system version: 81.5.39001.XT890.Retail.en.GB; See other forums...

Thanks! I'm considering to replace my Galaxy Ace for a Razr i and that kind of information is really helpful.

My RAZR I had replaced my gnex as the daily phone. Not even using my desire z as a back up now due to battery life of this beast.
