[Q] Low Quality on CyanogenMod 7.2 - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and Duos 6102 Q&A, Help & Troubl

Hi, I'm using cm-7-20130730-UNOFFICIAL-totoro and i'm having one problems with it, its about the Low Quality Image, my Screen looks like a low quality GIF image.
You can see how low the quality is on this SS:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So my question is: How fix it, and if is there a new update to CyanogenMod 7.2 that fix it.

You can see around the big 23 the light, you can clearly see the low quality.
Even the Quality from Stock room is better.

SGS Camera APK on Nexus S (for panoramic pictures) possible?

Hi, does anyone know if it is possible (or if it has been done) to have the SGS camera apk run on an NS?
I would love to have the panoramic capabilities
e.g.

Cheers, Steve.
You can download & install the Photaf app & it will do the pretty much the same thing. I did this attached panorama shot with the Photaf app -seems to work just like in your YouTube video. I kinda rushed this example (thus the noticeably different sloppy shades), but if you take your time, you can make it look really good too.

Hi and thanks for taking the time to respond. I've tried that and its not bad at all ... but ... though not elegantly displayed in the clip, the sgs apk does it better and there are other features of the sgs apk that I would like.
Anyone?
+1
Plus I also noticed there is no way to zoom in the stock camera app for nexus S

Q: Can we port SenseUI/Galaxy S apps to the Nexus S?
Most likely, no. Those apps typically require the Rosie/Touchwiz framework in order to function. You can have those apps when and if a developer decides to port those ROMs in their entirety."

This is a question for a specific item.
Fingers crossed, someone a lot cleverer than I feels the need for this & gives it a bash.
Ta.
Yes I would agree this should NOT require any other framework, because you can port the sense/rosie camera apk to a normal rom also...

Didn't that stop working once we moved from 2.1 to 2.2?
Which is another thing to take into consideration, since the US Galaxy S devices are stuck on 2.1 and we're on 2.3... might not be compatible, even if you could port it over without the TouchWiz framework.

[camera-patch]SONY BRAVIA engine experimental patch

I got this on my LG optimus X2 and it makes beter pictures.
So I tought lets share it with A500 and G100W users so I made a flashable zip.
WHAT IS BRAVIA ENGINE
Please before you use this make a full NANDROID backup.
It is a here for you but don't shoot me if you don't see any difference in picture quality !
I made a patch that installs the famous sony bravia engine on your tablet , it makes your pictures look beter in my opinion.
EDIT:30/1/2012
(and it can be my brain fooling me)
As users say this is a galery filter so the impact on your tablet picture won't be big , compaired to my phone I can confirm that this is not much or even no difference on the tablet.
Here example , same light , same time , same objects , same distance.WITH FLASH
DEFAULT A500 camera engine.

I think the Bravia shot is stronger , same result when I don't use flash. Let me know what you think.
Download here if you want to test it yourself:BRAVIA PATCH
Flash patch with CWM.
Not quite sure.
Will need to take some fotos, with different colors.
But Thanks. I see a slight difference. Just not sure which I like better.
Need some more greens and reds. So I'll check it out.
Thanks Civ!
Yeah , I should have taken pictures from a greater distance , there you see a better improvment. On my Phone the difference is bigger.
I thought Sony Bravia Engine just a ''filter'' for the gallery to bring up contrast and saturation?
Or does it have affect of the camera too?

If I put pictures on my PC I see difference so it effects camera in my opinion.
But like it says, on my phone it is big difference but that doesn't mean it will for you.
Tablet isn't made for high quality pictures anyway but even if it is a little better that's OK for me.

Ok thanks for the info , in the last few days I noticed that on my phone it is a big difference compaired to my tablet.
On my pC must have been a placebo effect my brain , that is what you get when you look to long at a picture , Will change title in thread that it is not engine but really a filter.

I pity you and your choice of words. You sire need to watch your language on a public domain.
@redzemet, I think the screen is of Nova launcher (not that it must support changing drawer background colour) but you can try it nonetheless or use that screenshot in Google image search to find more about that.

remove current screen guard and put a 720p screen guard
simple
Simple Answer:
NO! How do you expect your hardware to change by a software. I mean Houuu???
Well... I know our phone is 240p but i really want to use it 320p ROM because it will seen much cooler... And i guess i think our hardware can handle it because gt-5830i (ace i) does

Decompile ur
*sytemui.apk
*framework-res.apk
Twfranework.apk
Repeat same with other rom..
Using any image editing software edit the images to fix the size of images of ur rom..
Nd who knw if it may work
** rooting is new for me,

=========HOLO-UBUNTU========theme
it's a kernel and hardware thing,
you can't force a DPI resolution not unless your hardware supports it,
why must we force our device to the impossibles?
if the hardware and screen are capable of showing the original dpi only how do you expect it will show greater dots per inch ?
