Hy friends i try to root (for running 2 whatsapp account) my cell GT-s6312 through Odin3 but its failed due to reason and now my handset is unable to start normally.
my galaxy young duos can't boot and say: firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies & try again
please help me, how i can repair this, i have one day with my phone and i don't know what to do?
To start off with you dont root through odin - flash stock rom via odin then root it properly

I was trying to root my Samsung S4 GT-I9506 and got this issue. It says Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Tried Odin Keis , failed. Keis does not list my phone while trying to do emergency firmware thing and Odin does not detect my phone as well ( i think). Can I get some help to fix this issue

Official firmware or custom like cyanogenmod?
Custom recovery installed?
Did you try to flash CF-Autoroot?
please somebody help me i was trying to root my phone the root fail i have samsung note 3 att SM-900A 4.4.2
when the root fail in the middle of the process in odin the phone give me a message to connect it to samsung kies and recover the phone i tried and tkies fail to recover i also tried to install the ota 4.4.2 to the phone buy exporting the file to sd card and directly trying to update with the phone and it also fail.. please somebody tell me how i can fix this I am going crazy.
I know this isnt the right place for this thread, but i lost my other login credentials and had to start fresh, so Im posting here....

Problem: I used a website outside of XDA to root my device. I followed the instructions precisely too, I than unplugged the device hoping that replugging and restarting odin would fix the problem i have/had as displayed by the picture. I than tried rebooting the device, and got this error message: Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again. Well I downloaded Kies 3, and much to my surpise I got an error message about the samsung galaxy tab 4 7.0 not being supported by Kies 3. I am now downloading Kies 2.6, so I can atleast get this device booting normally.
If you knew this was not the place to post, why did you post a question here? A play by play of your device root is not of much interest to anyone! I hope you got it fixed up anyway!
It's been fixed. I found an alternate DL site that had Odin in the package..I used ODIN to run cf_auto_root which created that firmware upgrade issue...I had to Odin firmware from the links I found on these forums...it's rooted now though

MY phone displaying FIRMWARE UPGRADE ENCOUNTER AN ISSUE. PLEASE SELECT RECOVERY MODE IN KIES & TRY AGAIN. I tried in kies but its asking for recovery code which is not created by phone neither by kies..

Hi everyone im kinda new on this smartphone world , but i have a few knowledge on software so i decided to try to root myself my new ( to me) galaxy s4 sgh-i331
i managed to do it , but wifi icon had trouble and coudnt turn it on after rooting , so i tried to look for the stock version rom for that model and i tried to install it via odin .
i falided and now when i whant to start the phone it says firmware upgrade encountered an issue, please select recover mode in Kies & try again.
so i did as i was told to , i connected the phone to my laptop and open Kies but it never ends trying to connect the phone
im desperate i havn´t been able to use my phone in 2 days and it's starting to become an issue
i hope i described my problem the right way

Could you tell us more on your phone. The version of firmware before, which root method you use, which stock version of firmware you install via odin, etc...
