Problem restoring with titanium backup - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After going through the usual restoring procedure, when I open an app, it will forced closed. Then a notification would pop up and say unauthorized access to system data.
Anyone know how to fix.

There are several posts about Titanium Backup in existing threads such as http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2462212

It is a different issue. The other one is about restoring without rooting....
Mine is about having problems opening apps after rooting and restoring.

Exactly, hope that fixes his issues for him.
Sure he didn't disable any processes that need to run?

If you're rooted I'm pretty sure Titanium Backup gives an option to wipe those settings.

In Titanium there's an app called WiFi Access Points that you can wipe.

Titanium backup?

Does anyone know how to pull an app and its data from tb? I don't want to root quite yet, but I desperately need a certain app that I previously backed up before my upgrade to gs4.

titanium backup needs root to work
why not root, restore, then unroot?

UnRooting is quite easy if you're on MDC. Just Google unroot Samsung galaxy s4.
http://galaxys4root.com/galaxy-s4-tutorials/how-to-unroot-galaxy-s4-and-remove-root-completely/ . I'm not quite sure if there is an unroot for mdl

You can skip the part where he talks about getting the update. This root worked for me. You can change recovery after you're done.
Warning: not sure if there is an unroot. You might be able to flash back to unroot but I am not sure. If anyone knows please say so.

Hi,
Did you use the correct recovery for your phone.
It seems you have your own forum.
Look HERE

How did that happen? And yes I've made one back up that worked and now it won't let me make any more. I've got over 2 gigs of internal storage available. I've even tried do a back up to external sd card, which has 3 gigs of storage available, and it says the same thing.

Do you think ifi flash another recovery like twrp for example that would work or am I just wasting my time?

Hi,
It is definitely worth a try.
But You should be asking in your forum, not this one.
Also, look in your dev threads for the correct version for your phone.
That was it. Must have been something wrong with the cwm recovery because I flashed twrp and it worked perfectly. Thanx for the suggestion.

Debloater

Is there a safe debloater to flash in ss or a list of safe to remove systems apps?

Freeze apps with titanium backup... Or we have the ability to "freeze" apps without root under the default app settings.
