The first two are Grouper; the last one is Tilapia, if that's what you're asking.

Indeed they are!
I only recently discovered this myself, when I was at my local supermarket recently, and I spotted a huge sign, near the fishmongers, advertising tilapia as being on special offer for that day.
Tuna and Manta is sort of the obvious giveaway, but unless you're a gourmet, grouper (my Nexus 7), does not invoke anything 'fishy' to my mind... unless fastboot fails... at which point, I usually say '...something fishy about this...'.

Hi, SilverDragon24...
Well... 'grouper' Nexus 7 is WiFi only... whereas the 'tilapia' model is both WiFi AND Cellular (3G).
So.. you're going to be need to be close to a WiFi 'hotspot' if you buy a 'grouper' Nexus 7.
If you go for a 'tilapia' Nexus 7, you'll need a SIM card, and some sort of mobile data carrier plan (similar to a smartphone) for use when you're away from a WiFi router/hotspot.
Which one you buy, is dependent on your situation and you're needs.

Ged.

Or alternatively, you could get a 'tilapia' Nexus 7 and just use it on WiFi, until you can afford a SIM/mobile data plan...
Just a thought anyway.

I think it won't seem that way once you get hands on with it. And I bet the edge to edge glass will help that as well
Edit: 200 bucks for HD, Tegra 3 processor, huge battery, and Jelly Bean. WANT!

Definitely. For that price its too hard to turn down. I mean, quad core CPU for £200, you'd be mad to turn that down.

I already have a Xoom and can't find enough reason to "upgrade" to the Nexus 7 since the Xoom is getting JB. Maybe if I am able to sell my Xoom for around 200 I will make the switch since I would like something a little smaller and lighter.
I have a Kindle Fire as per the sent from line. Definitely trying to acquire the nexus 7 as it is a clear upgrade for a great price but I certainly don't want two tablets that fill the same niche...

There are already a ton of resources on this and posts in these very forums BUT in short, yes. Now I'd suggest doing a search to find out why
Opinions are like... well you know what they are like.
With that said, I know I personally haven't used my phone except for calling when I have my Nexus 7 around.
Definitely recommend it.

5 Nexus Devices?

Remember when the rumors were floating around about Google releasing '5' Nexus devices by the end of the year? I'm still wondering if these rumors are true.
1. Nexus 7
2. Nexus Q
3. Nexus 10
4. Nexus 4
5. ?
Google has released two tablets, a media device, and one phone. Wouldn't it be nice to have a 2nd Nexus phone? What about the whole 5" HTC Nexus phabet that was rumored? Is there one last device to come out by years end?
There will be no extra device to come out. The 5th device is the new version of the Nexus 7 they announced.
I doubt they will muddy the waters with another mobile device esp a phone, the Nexus 4 has a 4.7inch screen releasing a 5inch phone would be stupid business sense, for a mobile phone it makes much better sense to just have one, it helps the developers and it helps the consumer, as apps can be created and installed knowing that they will always work.
If they were to release another device it would be something different, not a phone not a tablet, perhaps a 'Nexus TV' (a set top box like a Google TV).
Maybe the nexus TV could be a proper smart TV made in collaboration with LG, with android on board... that would be nice

In all honesty, it was Verizon that gave CDMA Galaxy Nexus a bad name.

Is "flo" the codename?
I am trying to get some ROMs going on for this as I might buy one Wed but I am still confused as to what the device codename is.
I will search around some more though I guess.
I started to create a thread on this last night but figured I'd wait for someone else to do it. To make it easy on deciding, gather as many opinions on the official nickname as possible and after a pre determined count, take the average and hopefully enough people will recognize it as the 'nickname'.
My vote Nexus 7.2 (N7.2)

No, Nakasi (Wifi) & Nakasig (3G) are for the previous version of Nexus 7.
And if you go to the Google Git, you will see that the nickname is FLO => Google Git = android / device/asus/flo

Thank you! I just get weary relying on Google results, and prefer confirmation.
Last time I bought a device I just googled it and thought I was going to get a "Sunfire" (Photon 4G) but ended up with a "Asanti" (Photon Q LTE)...
Nexus 7 B
"My Next Device"
Yeah, who knows. I'd prefer a better naming convention. I'm sticking with Nexus 7 (2013).
I can see some confusing coming from this, especially when people start looking for accessories. I already read a Best Buy review where the guy mention how much his daughter loved the tablet he got her, but the hers doesn't have a rear camera.
Google's Support website refers to it as the "Nexus 7 (2013)" while last year's model is referred to as "Nexus 7 (2012)". For the moment, this convention seems reasonable, but I think calling it "Nexus 7 (2nd generation)" or "Nexus 7 flo" is equally clear.

Nexus 4 as a t-mobile tablet?

With the Nexus 5 out (hopefully) soon, Ill have a retired and unused Nexus 4. With the news of the T-Mobile free 200mb for tablets , it got me thinking.
Is it possible to trick t-mobile into thinking the nexus 4 is a tablet? Would this take a custom ROM? (I assume if possible, it would)
Or, is it just a matter of getting a data-only sim and signing it up for the tablet coverage?

I know that works to download "incompatible" apps from the play store.. Could anyone confirm this would work? I actually think T-Mobile confirms it by the device's imei identification code which contains information about the device model, if so tricking T-Mobile would be practically impossible unless we changed it to a nexus 7 one which I've heard doing so is illegal for some dumb reason
Won't work. The IMEI is hard coded into the firmware and changing it is illegal. When you activate the phone on T-Mobile to begin with you give them the imei and seriel number and they put it in their database and know what it is, therefore I'm thinking 0.000001% chance of it working

I called and acted dumb. I thought it was a nexus 7, the guy said that the imei that I gave him was for a phone. I wish I just had the imei number of a nexus7 LTE, so I could try giving them that

The legality is gray, since the law clearly mentions stolen phones, and this /should/ be your phone. That's why I consider it okay to change the imei of YOUR phone.
This can be taken back to the jailbreak issue (iPhone crowd). I find it very hard to believe that someone can charge you for anything you do with your phone, on your carrier account.
Look at the people that bypass the network throttling
