Hi,
I want to setup some kind of custom alarm clock. It should be exactly like the original alarm clock in SGS3 but when the alarm accure it will do some custom commands.
What the best way to store that alarms?
I know two ways:
shared preferences
DataBase

Is their any alarm code that I can take and customize it to my needs?

How I can change the sound of Clock alarm? It is not present in Sound and Notifications...
When you set the alarm and time, click on the alarm icon on the left of the days
But, I'd recommend you get G-Alarm insted I find it much better.
If you are using the built in alarms, click on the bell symbol in Clock & Alarms -> Alarms.
Here you can select the sound, if it repeats and whether to flash and vibrate.
omg ty
and how to add more then three alarms? I am surprised of this limit...
You can't to my knowledge.
With G-Alarm however, you can have many many alarms setup, and you have a much broader options and configs.
I highly recommend using it insted of the basic windows alarm:

Is it me or is there no way to set a smart alarm on the SGS for a particular date?

Click to collapse
It's only a "smart" alarm, not a "prodigy" or "genious" alarm.
I think you're stuck with setting alarms for a week ahead at most. Unless there's a way to make a calendar entry trigger a smart alarm in some way.
Thanks..... Just needed to make sure I was not missing something.
Shame though that Samsung did not add an ability to have a 'Smart Alarm' or normal Alarm from inside the Clock App with date selection.
Using the calendar to set an Alarm is nothing and I mean nothing compared to the dedicated Clock Alarm App.
I just got the HTC G2, what is the best application for an alarm clock where I can also put my own music as a ringtone for it? Or if there's any way I can use the phone's built-in alarm clock app for that (e.g. choose one of my songs as an alarm tone)?
Thanks
Klaxon is my favorite. I love the way the volume can ramp up and stuff, and it's just awesome anyway.
Gentle Alarm BY FAR.
Sooooo many options to play with.
Stock alarm clock will do that. Put your alarms into a directory on the sdcard called.... "alarms", and the next media scan will have it into your alarms list.
Hello
Hello I have the serious problem with Alarm Clock on my STOCK-NON-Rooted SGS5 (900F)
The config:
Localization services: ON ( not matter what type)
Alarm Clock set to specified hour
Weather and dual clock on lockscreen: OFF
The problem:
Alarm Starts with normal Sound
Device wakes up, on statusbar you can see Localization Icon blinking
After few seconds alarm is silenced - but still on the sceen you can see options to disable it ( disable / snoze )
The only remedy I found is to disable GPS/Localization services completly...
Does anyone know BETTER solution not breaking the device functionality?
Thanks in advance!
Looks pretty bad...
Noone has any clue how to fix it?
Maybe I should send it for warranty repair...
Device is pretty uses because alarm clock and GPS are very important functions of the device.
and in case that one function breaks another it really sucks...
Alright, so I got a galaxy S8 on Sunday (coming from a OP5 which didn't satisfy me at all) but I just can't figure out how to change the default clock.
I set up my alarm using Google Assistant (it's just easier, I first turn off my lights with the Assistant then setup my alarm and I'm done) but it defaults to the Samsung app although I have Google's installed.
Also, I set it at 5.42 so I can snooze it twice and get up at 6 am for University, except the default snooze is set at 5 minutes (against my defaultI9 minutes) and I can't snooze it more than twice (the only option I then see (after two snoozes) is to disable the alarm).
How am I supposed to change it to Google's clock or change settings in the app?
Thank you guys and have a good one!
You can set snooze details when you create the individual alarm to whatever you want...
