I have Issue and i hope you help me to solve it ..
My phone is LG g2 D802
i had Kit Kat rom and i want to upgrade it to Lolipop .. So i download lolipop custum rom and i install it , then black screen apear to me .. fastboat issue .. Because i think i made mistake with thr rom that i installed it.. then i solve Fastboot issue and also partition issue . And I used Lg Tools To download D802 Stock rom And the attached screen appear to me and i tray to inter recovry mode to format the phon and i coldn't i tray to install another rom and still the same issue .. After that I take the phone For maintenance company ,, and they said your phone need to change the whole Motherboard And this will Cost me ALOT .. Because of that i came to this amazing fourm hoping you guys to help me to solve this issue

Hey guys so I think I screwed up. I was updating to lollipop stock firmware for the galaxy grand prime (g530h/ds) using odin and I forgot to enable usb debugging before starting the process. It all went well and odin gave me a 'PASSED' message but now the phone doesnt show anything after the samsung boot screen (Which shows the name of the phone and "powered by android" beneath). Also, by 'the display not showing anything', I mean that the display doesnt entirely go black, there are faded vertical bars (initially the is screen dark with faint white edges on all sides) and i can see a very faint shadow of the Android logo and a 'Downloading' caption underneath it (sometimes, not always). Also, the screen fades in and out after a few seconds. Bricked or nah? I cant get into recovery but I can still get into Download mode.
This was the firmware I installed:
G530HXXU2BOH5_G530HSER2BOH5_SER (russian) from samfirmware
and then after all this happened, I retried with this firmware but the same thing happened:
G530HXXU2BOH7_G530HODD2BOH3_INS (indian)
then after digging around on google I realized that you have to install the firmware that matches your region (csc, baseband and all that stuff I did not even understand). Now how do i tell what is the basedband, csc or whatever of my phone so that I can download the proper firmware version? Or am i screwed here? (i know i'm not well versed in the technicalities of rooting and I realize it was my mistake to not properly do research before manually installing firmware, so it would be nice if i get a positive feedback)
I am from Nepal. How long do you think will It take for me to get official update?

but after flash show samsung galaxy prim and dark screen . and after this i flashed with this firmware

Hay @ibrahim95: I too have something same like your problem but mine is more complex as i can't boot into download mode. And ODIN also shown PASSED massage and as did with some other samsung devices the process was like OK, but it really didn't pass and dead now.
I flashed this firmware G530HXXU2BOH7_G530HODD2BOH3_G530HXXU2BOH5_HOME.tar.md5
your experience with Grand Prime may help me, if you would like to.
I have not download mode to flash something else, neither i have recovery mode.
The screen is black with a little dim light, which indeed shows that the phone is not totally dead, I think it can be called hard brick.
Same problem with my g530fz. Any solution?

So is this firmware for all the Galaxy Grand Prime G530H, I mean there are country versions too. And I don't what country version is my device, because I have bought it in a second hand market.

I have a problem with a apparently Grand Prime G530H Dous, But i highly doubt it has something else inside the casing, I mean may be this devices has been tweaked to work with other networks, OR simply it is a device from like India, Russia or China, and has been installed with a firmware that could work here in Pakistan.
And my bad luck, that i downloaded the INDIAN (G530HXXU2BOH7_G530HODD2BOH3_INS) version or lollipop to upgrade it to 5.0.2 and that screwed my device. Now it only has a light black screen, NO Download Mode, No recovery, No boot loops, Nothing at all.
Please help me.

So, guys finally I've got my Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime G530H Duos running again.
I did something some people have been saying here and there but we might didn't believe them, I want to say that they were right by saying that. But the important thing is that they didn't say it well.
These kind of unbelievable things must be explained in detail. So here I am trying to make it a little detailed in plain words so that everybody may understand it.
1. I started the Odin 3.07 and connected my device to see if it was detected or not, to my surprise, Odin catch it, and shown added and the port number was 18.
2. I just pulled out the USB cable from my laptop and loaded the BL file only to just flash the bootloader file and see what would happen, I was trying it bcz I was totally disappointed with the device i.e. Grand Prime 530H Duos. I also noticed that my device was not stable even with that black screen it used to restart after almost five minutes in that case. And I knew that in 5 minute I will just be able to flash BL file. The BL file was loaded on the Odin now and I inserted the USB cable again while keeping the vol down + home key pressed, to my laptop when the Odin again found and connected with my device, I didnot take any more time to flash BL file.
3. As soon as i had not flashed all the SW therefore, my device didn't boot properly, and I thought it didn't work but when my device was connected to the computer I just listened the startup tone of the Android 4.4.4. or the device. From that moment I knew my device was not dead now so i pullup the battery, put it again inside to check its status, did this almost thrice, but still the same black screen, yet i heard the startup sound everytime. Now as far as knew the phone is on but showing nothing, I had to select all four files from the recovery firmware of 4.4.4 and connect the device to odin even there was no sign of download mode, as soon i clicked the Start button i saw many things in the Odin bar which were good enough to see. after the firmware flashed the device got started.

thanks for this.. it works with my galaxy grand prime back to kitkat after trying to flashed to lollipop. now my initial problem is still there, unable to connect to wifi networks. it will just say saved, secured. i was hoping lollipop could solve the wifi problem. Has anyone have this kind of issue? appreciate your feedback.. thanks

solution for black screen after flashing sm-G530h, reflash with flash tool by choosen format+download. it work for me after flashing and get black screen i just select format all+download and reflash my device.

the problem has been solved using kitkat, so my question is , can u still update into lollipop? same problem with me, whenever I update into Lollipop, i got stucked at samsung logo, when I flash back again 4.4.4 it works again!!

please help me. I can't use it after upgrading to lollypop due to faded display issue.
But kitkat can be still used.
My question is still that if thrre is any solution to be able to use lollypop?
In Samsung Galaxy Edge 6 Plus SM-G928F i lost all my holiday Picture and movies.
Try to cut and past from phone to computer.
All take around 10sec and whose done without errors.
Nothing left in the phone also nothing is on computer.
I cant find anything without rooting phone first.
I would like ask if somebody can help me save my holiday memory from Japan .

btw if u need orginal firmware u can download frome
i have flash it back to 6.0.1 but black screen now i flash it back to 7.0 after flash back shut down your mobile and factory reset for the bug fix and work it again but the samsung accaunt is not off and ask again after flash the old samsung accaunt but never know it more
now i need profisinal modders or hackers for fix this problem thank u for help me im waiting

Pull out batteries... then reflash using odin.... make sure u download n flash correct tar file for ur device...

Hi guys, my nephew has his gave his phone to me, i can have it for my kids.
I tried to put it back to factory setting by recovery mode and it says failed to find misc partition.
my guess is flash it from download mode with odin into a new rom ?
Also what rom should i take because i cant really get it clear what kind of phone it is, from the netherlands.

Thats a Galaxy A5 2016, model number is A510F as shown in your pic.
You should be good by flashing the latest stock ROM through Odin.
