As far as I know, yes.
Better use jwr based rom for the time being like psx rom v6.

I've seen deadlock related commits in the Google open masterbranch, so I'm inclined to say yes.

I guess that's a good thing.....JellyBAM doesn't have a Grouper build.

Yes i know, i just took the Jellybam ROM as expamle.
I am looking for a completely stock 4.3 rom that is JSS, that is odexed; which means no theme capability.
Basically I want a stock factory image of JSS. So I can use jss kernels. And etc...
All I see are deodexed with some features implemented. If possible I would like to know if there's a version of this or not? Because I do not see one.

Reason why i ask this is because all these roms' have bugs and issues where as the stock factory image does not.

If you used cm10.2 you can odex it with odex.me and I can upload that apk if you want. Cm is basically stock with a few improvements.

I don't want the improvement because those improvements involved bugs and problems any CyanogenMod build is always buggy there's not one single build that's a hundred percent perfect.
There are a few stock ish JSS roms however most of them still implement their own kind of features which I don't want. All I want is the stock image of JSS kind of like JWR OTA.

there is no actual stock JSS image. JSS is source only right now. You can only get the image for JWR. If you want JSS so badly, ask a developer to cook the rom for you without root. Only way is to compile from source.
This will probably be the closest you'll get. It has no root but has the Google apps replacing the AOSP ones so it's as close to a factory image as you can get. I'm about try it myself as I prefer to have 100% stock as well

I haven't noticed this on mine. Make a titanium backup and wipe data cahe and install again ROM and gapps, there's a new pack of gapps from PA.

Hi everybody!
I just read great thread about JSS and JWR builds:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2382880
So looks like plain vanilla JSS is better than JWR.
I checked Original Development section and didn't find it, there are lots of custom ROMs. They are nice and I used couple of them on my old phone.
But.
But I would like to try one 'clear' build, straight from the source. Is it possible to find? Or I need to compile one myself? (Have no idea how
Thanks!

Whatsup? have you been able to do it?
Yes, the patch is called android 4.4.3...

Upgrade to 4.4.3, only good things can happen, and you will be able to use the newest kernels.

Well i got my reason not to update, since my favorite rom isnt updated yet.
I know i can just update to 4.4.3 to get the newer kernels to work, but i just dont like to.
yea, too many kernel changes in 443. my only one experience of flashing a 443 kernel on 442 was a non boot. what rom are you waiting for?

Rastakat chameleon edition! I could use the xposed module to get the same effect as this rom (statusbar color changes) but honestly, its quite buggy that way.

Thats true! but honestly i cant live without that mod anymore, and the chameleon version has it so well implemented :cyclops:
My apologies, I was not aware you were waiting for a custom ROM, I thought that you were trying to flash a custom kernel for 4.4.3 on 4.4.2 stock.
