already tried by removing battery for some time but no luck phone doesn't open. Even the sgy logo doesn't appear.....

To start with you got mount errors in stock kernel as it doesn't support ext4 system partition - Merruk Whitexp percy & hells fusion #50 do
If you can get into recovery mode - format data after flashing stock rom via odin
If you can only get into download mode - reflash stock rom correctly using the firmware packages on dokys thread in dev section
If you can't get into either normally
turn off phone
remove everything from it (battery sd sim)
connect phone to pc via usb
open odin on pc
with battery still removed press keys to enter download mode
with keys pressed still reinsert battery
phone should be in download mode
if not you need a USB jig or take to service centre as you flashed the wrong firmware or not correctly

Problem of booting into CWM recovery mode

Hi guys,
I have raised my problem of booting into CWM recovery mode in the sticky post where instructions of getting into various recovery/download modes are shown.
I reckon it is more appropriate that I seek my help here 
I think I have successfully rooted my phone with CF-Root-SGS2_ZS_OZS_KF4-v4.0-CWM4. Because I can use all those goodies that require root access such as setCPU, Titanium Backup, etc.
However, I do have a problem of booting into CWM recovery mode via the button combination of VOL UP+HOME+POWER when the phone is off. Whenever I follow the button combination, I would go to the Android stock recovery mode. Even though I use the “boot into CWM recovery mode” in the CWM manager app when the phone is on, it still goes into stock recovery mode.
When I was in the stock recovery mode, I saw the followings:
---Appling Multi-CSC...
Installing Multi-CSC
Can't access to ' /system/scs/VAU/system/'.
Successfully applied multi-CSC
And in the CWM Manager app, the current kernel is “Unknown”.
Have my phone got properly rooted?
Much appreciated for your guys’ help.
Cheers

That looks to be rooted but without CWM 4 installed .
Factory reset phone via CWM and reinstall .

Hi Mate,
I can't see there is any reset function in the CWM app? There are only Backups (backup/Restore/Delete), APKs (Install APK), Updates (Flash update), Kernels (Flash kernel).
Can I just use the Flash kernel function to re-flash the CF-Root-SGS2_ZS_OZS_KF4-v4.0-CWM4?
Thanks
Boot to CWM recovery and factory reset .

CMW and Infuse
How does one boot into CWM when my Infuse will not boot at all? All I get is the "Samsung" screen. I tried to upgrade my ROM and got stuck at this screen. Help, please...

did you do it via CWM app? i've had a softbrick as well while using that
try enter recovery via Vol Up + Home + Power button ....
after that try install once again the zip file
as of for me, fixed my softbrick just now by flashing back my nandroid 2.3.6 backup
What was the result of PC odin flash? Did it get stuck at factoryfs.img?

I believe you did not do a factory wipe after your GB from PC Odin boots, right?
Because the GB flash via PC Odin only put the necessary files into your phone, the residue data from your previous Rom is still in it, upon boot, your system read theses data and do not understand some residue instructions, therefore you are stuck.
Just do a full wipe and cache as well... try it and let me know if I am right?

after flashing stock GB after reboot stuck.. then go thru CWM to wipe data successfully wipe and complete.. but after i reboot the system.. im still stuck on logo.. im tryin to think if flashing cf root via odin then flash abyss4.2 kernel then flash an ROM LPY based.. do you think it will work?
After flashing the STOCK GB (very imp)
Get into the stock recovery by pressing vol up+ home+ power button and do a factory reset, you are good to go.
Edit: Do not flash Abyss yet, you would get a yellow triangle.
Also first boot takes sometime, how long are you waiting before trying again. Just do a factory reset on stock GB rom, power off, remove the battery and wait for sometime. Put the battery and boot again! It may take some time but it should boot.

30 minutes is like too long. Just try one more time and see or flash a different ROM, a wipe one, preferably?
If the PC Odin is flashing it successfully, then you do not have to fear, all is well

If you can go to recovery mode try wiping data and cache again and if you can't go to recovery mode try flashing a stock rom again

But how can i flash
My mobile hangs just in the first boot screen i.e. where it states"Samsung galaxy y young GT-5360"
please learn to search,
there are like a thousands of threads out there to teach you how to fix your phone
Use odin. Download the appropriate firmware from the general thread and use Odin 1.85 provided in the attachment. Put your phone in download mode by holding home, power and volume DOWN key. Press the volume up key to enter Odin mode. Extract your firmware files somewhere and link the relevant files in the relevant places in Odin. Dont worry about the files not present. Connect your phone and there will be an indication your phone is connected. A white area turning yellow.
Click start. Youre most likely going to experience bootloops but now you can boot into recovery and wipe data and cache and install the ROM you wanted.

Two methods ...
1st go back to stock rom through odin and flash again 7x (Delete data+chache and mount system before flashing) .
2nd lill complicated bt very helpful if ur cwm still working. hold vol+ button and home butten and turn on ur phone. if ur in custom kernel then U go directly into cwm other wise u r in stock recovery . if u r in stock recovery then go to update from sd card and go to ur temp Cwm . if u dnt hve then better option to go back to stock rom via odin. bt if U hve cwm format system + delete data & chache. then Mount system & data. flash again 7x.W8 till installation . Reboot and enjoy
P.s :- always mount syatem before installing roms, themes etc via cwm
better flash it again.
format system then wipe data in cwm
then flash it.
if doesnt work out, use odin
try waiting for 5-10 mins, first boot takes up quite some time.
if you are still stuck, maybe flash stock via odin here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465800

you can either format data in cwm or in stock recovery format data/reset
or if that doesnt sort the boot loop quickest way to solve it is just to flash stock rom via odin
Remember next time before you do anything like flashing a mod or trying out something different to always make a nandroid backup in cwm - this way if you get into a boot loop or want to revert what you have done you just have to restore your nandroid backup
anyway stock rom firmware is found on my thread below

follow the instructions fully on my thread
you need to install the usb drivers
you need to put your phone into download mode (vol down home button power button)
cwm is not required and not used to flash stock rom via odin - you must be in download mode NOT recovery mode

if on stock kernel use a tempory cwm zip in stock recovery to get to cwm (need to do it each time you want to enter cwm
http://d-h.st/u2m
or flash any kernel that has a perminant cwm - your choice dont ask me to suggest
Ok thanks, I've got a kernel installed and a rom, got a couple of issues but I'll take that to the correct thread now
