Does this have multi user support?
I ask because I read Samsung removed it from the GT3.

No multi-user, no multi-windows...

No. This is stock "baby" prepared for "xda-forensic surgery".

Installed yesterday evening, clean wipe and first impressions are not good. It is slow, all applications have hiccups in normal use. Compared to official 4.1.2 it is huge step backward. Now, if this was official update for Australian users, we have a lot of Aussies pissed as hell... Status bar
is joke, it is so tiny that you need surgeons precision to pull it down. Scrolling is jerky, but it seems that whole interface suffers from prominent
micro lags. I will check how things are going today, once rom has settled, but I do believe that I will go back to stable 4.1.2 build.

Hi Guys,
I have an issue and I have no idea why. Coming from Cyanogen mod 10.1.
- Went to DL mode.
- Selected the file in odin.
- flashed the ROM
Everything seemed fine until the device started booting which it couldn't. I am now stuck at SAMSUNG logo which is being highlighted in a loop.
It seems I can go into recovery ( power off the tablet and then imeddiately press power off button + volume down and when Galaxy Tab 2 logo appears release the button ) It says Android system recovery <3e>
I have cm-10.1-20121227-NIGHTLY-p5110.zip file on extSDcard, I tried to install but without success.
Are there some expert available to help?

From what i can guess, you have to select the single file in bootloader slot and flash there in using odin. Should work... Downloading right now, will post in an hour or so... net speed sucks these days... just 2mbps Plus the file is on hotfile which sucks even more...
------------------------------------------------------------ Edit ------------------------------------------------------------
Well this rom doesn't boot.
I've updated the firmware using mobile odin and encounter a second of screen corruption (green garbled pictures) after the galaxy tab 7.0 logo? (before samsung logo) everytime I start the tab, not much of a problem but still wondering anyone here have the same glitch?

I tried using JB 4.1.1 root files to flash (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1887757) but it doesn't work either . Is going back to 4.0.4 my only choice to get bluetooth working?
You should be able to root using Odin. This is the most popular method. I've been using this method for ALL my rooting.

You need to install the official firmware that came with your phone out the box, if you are on the old bootloader then It came with 4.2.2, if it came with the new one then it came with 4.3, go to http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/2/ and look for the official firmware of your phone and carrier, then download it and flash it with odin. Leaked TW 4.4.2 won't solve anything, since it is a test build it can do worse than good.

Just use the link I posted before, you just need to select the phone model and your country/carrier and download the firmware and flash it with Odin. To download the firmware from the site you'll have to make an account for sammobile.

How to unbrick the phone for N9005(HK 16GB)

Hi all,
Please read the whole thread before working on it.
I know everyone is frustrating in upgrading to 4.4.2 but brick during odin process (ext4 fail) and stuck in 4.4.2 bootloader.
Here is the method to solve this problem:
Before working on it, we have to prepare the following things:
1. Odin 3.07 (Yes, 3.09 does not work)
2. HK firmware odin pack (Pit, BL (DO NOT WORK WITH IT, AP, CP, CSC): http://pan.baidu.com/s/1Bvm6g (Sorry for giving the chinese link, I hope someone to make a new link for me)
3. 4.4.2 leaked firmware: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2608178
4. 4.4.2 rom, I used sweet rom v.7 to fix it
5. 4.4.2 recovery cwm
5. Samsung driver (bullshxt)
Now lets get started:
1. Flash the 4.4.2 firmware BL by odin.
2. Flash the HK Firmware AP, CP &CSC (Do not use the HK firmware BL)
3. once it done, turn to Download mode again and flash 4.4.2 recovery cwm by odin
4. Run Recovery
5. Wipe everything
6. Flash 4.4.2 rom ( I flashed sweet rom v7 currently)
7. Boot to system and do all the setting ( The sound and the signal are not working)
8. Boot back to download mode
9. Boot the 4.4.2 leaked firmware's CP ( DO NOT WIPE AFTERWARD)
10. Prepare coffee and cookies
11. Enjoy your device!

I'm at the stage just before CP-ing the leak kitkat. I've had the problems I've mentioned. I will Nandroid backup first, if there is any use...

The Leaked KitKat CP didn't do any good, just harm, the phone keeps hanging, still no volume, no camera, cannot make calls.
Guess there is no way out.

Hi all,
Please read the whole thread before working on it.

I'm just checking why I couldn't get the Sweet Rom lockscreen, dialer, sound and camera to work. So here are my questions.
1.
In step 1, the firmware BL you used is from Leaked Poland kit kat ?
2. Did you use PIT in any steps?
3. In step 5, wipe everything means data/factory reset, cache and Dalvik?

I got it fixed, some of the instructions are inaccurate. I will write a perfectly detail version later on how to fix.

Tried to follow this, but failed ... I don't think the instructions are clear (no PIT, etc)
Followed them though ... and no luck.
Thanks to the poster, but hasn't helped me. Cheers.

I did find this useful, despite not getting to the final step, I also found these directions a little clearer:

I have 4.4.2 ... seems a tad buggy, so not sure if I'm out of the woods just yet.
Thanks for this thread though.
Cheers

This is my tutorial. Please read
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=49831876
Clear as crystal - still, have used the other instructions and managed to succeed. Wish I had had yours earlier to explain the 3:07 ODIN terms as the first poster uses 3.09 ODIN terms.
Thanks.
Cheers.

Actually, I thought it was good, but my phone is still playing up - no matter what I do or what I try, there is something always not right. This time it was the video camera ... Fails. FFS
I'm really over this and don't really know what to do or think...
Just disappointed really.

You mean you have successfully flashed custom ROM but your ROM has problems? If so, you need to consult the ROM author because many of the Custom ROMs are still in the developing stages and still have many bugs

Galaxy Note 3- Problems After Upgrading To 5.0

I am sure that XDA developers will not let me down
Dear guys,
I had updated my kitkat 4.4.2 to lollipop 5.0 but I faced to major problems which are:
1. My screen shoot (Screen write) function works for maybe 3 or 4 times only and then nothing happens when I get out my pen and press it, so I have to restart the device to make it work for more 3 or 4 times!!!
2. I cannot find a good way to root after upgard it to lollipop. :crying: :crying:
Model: N9005

CP: N9005XXUGBOD3

I appreciate your support and thanks for your time
1) Hmm... haven't seen that problem before. Try installing some apps from the play store that allow you to screetshot.
2) How did you previously root? I rooted my LG-D415 Android Version 5.0.2 using Kingroot.

thank your for your concern
well...
1. I will, even it makes me so sad because it was the major function of the pen.
2. previously I followed the instructions in this video youtube.com/watch?v=hUghV16l9d8
Make sure you have done a clean installation of the ROM. By clean installation I mean make a full wipe, from TWRP (a custom recovery), go to Advanced Wipe and select everything except your external SD, in case you have one installed. Then flash the latest Lollipop ROM via Odin. The latest stable LP ROM I found to be OF3, so get that from sammobile.com.
And root can't be more easy. When you are done flashing the stock ROM via Odin just place this zip on your phone, https://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip, reboot to recovery, which will be TWRP (and after flashing the stock ROM you will have to reflash TWRP, cause flashing stock ROM always installs the stock recovery), and just install the zip from there, done.
