Is there any web browser that shows upload process when I'm uploading a file?

Well surely it depends on what website you're uploading to and if it provides a status
opera & dolphin both provide pc/desktop layout view so will display the page as a pc browser would (if enabled in settings)
but if the website doesn't have a upload progress status then it won't display one

Why is it that when I try to download a file from places like megaupload, it saves the file as a small ".htm" file or if I try to open the download link in a new tab it gives an error message saying something like "you can not access this page directly. Please use the website to download"? This happens with both the default browser and Dolphin browser.
hm yeah I had that EXACT same problem today when I tried downloading an /apk from a filesonic link and it downloaded an .htm
yep, thats the crappines of DOLHPIN and Built in Web.
I thought Dolhpin was a good browser until this,Opera Mobile is 100x better and you can actually download,browse fast and its WAAAY easier to read than Dolhpin;
Dolhpin has better DIsplay and is faster, but oPera is my main
Ok so I need to get Opera Mobile eh? Damn just when I was getting all my stuff integrated into Dolphin. Anyhow I will give it a try now. Thanks guys, this forum is the best!
***UPDATE***
Tested Opera Mobile, downloaded the item without any trouble. Unfortunately I cannot copy all my bookmarks from Dolphin or the default xperia play browser to Opera Mobile. That sucks.
Thanks for the advice dude....trying it right now.
Is there a way to completely clear that status bar at the bottom temporarily while surfing?
I use download buddy. Whenever I have had that issue I use download buddy and it works. Lets you save any downloaded file to anywhere on your phones SDcard.

Nope, but if you want, you can use Opera exclusivly for Downloading, and Dolhpin with Browsing.
I have both and use both equally
Opera mobile has more functions then mini.. Use mini when using 3g connections because it's optimized to use the fewest data.
While on wifi/downloading or watching streams, use the full version of opera mobile.

I'm also using Download All Files, but files still get saved as html in stock browser, have no clue why. I download through Firefox though, which works perfectly no matter what type of file i download.

Opera works fine if you download from sites where you don't have to wait a certain time, if i try to download from sharing sites where you have to wait 30 seconds or 1 minute untill you can start the download, the counter gets stuck and i can never get to the point where i can start downloading, so that's why i stick to Firefox for downloads.
on stock browser works ok with me

Almost all the free ac in RS, MU or FS have a timer set and with Opera I could download almost anything. Timer never got stuck for me.
I'll give a look at Download All files however. I hate moving to another browser just for downloading. The Stock browser should download all file formats, don't know why it doesn't !

True ,i was talking about Opera mini, i don't use Opera
Has anyone else noticed that when in the web browser, and specifically doing a search in Google Images, when you click on the image to view it the image appears full screen but very blocky! (see 1st image below). Then, when clicking to view 'full size', you get a smaller, clearer image.
Why is the 1st image shown so badly scaled? I have tried this in stock browser, Dolphin and Opera Mobile and they all do the same!
Can anyone else confirm that theirs is the same?

Well hope you've already fixed your issue with the update....if not try moving your pics to a different folder and rebooting...sometimes the media scanner misses folders...also try to clear your thumbnail data use clean master...its pretty good
Good luck...hope this helped

What's the point to not giving the choice which view would you like to? Any new website you have to open twice
Thanks for replies :good:
I use Dolphin Browser HD. You only need to click the option "request desktop view" once. Then all succeeding browsing will be on desktop view on any day.
