For all you GT-i8190T owners I have made a public folder in my drop box with all required files to root your phone reliably
http://db.tt/O7Gn5gHb
1 Unzip odin
2 Use three button combo to put your phone into download mode, (turn off completely , hold home, volume down, and power - for those that don't know) press up I think it is to confirm download mode.
3 with device connected to Odin flash the. MD5 file in the PDA section (do not tick repartition)
4 after reboot connect phone to pc and move the update superuser to your external SD can be done before to save time.
5 turn phone off again. And then go into recovery, home+volume up+ power hold until the first screen comes up.
6 flash the update super user from your external SD.... Important it's external SD..
7 reboot phone enjoy you rooted stock GT-i8190T
None of the files are hacked or cracked there as the developer CWM and chainfire made them if you want a full version of superuser pay for it and support the developer this version does everything you need anyway

try this:
Step 1 – Prepare odin with the firmware u want to flash and get it ready to go;
Step 2 – Remove battery, SIM and SD card, next connect your galaxy 3 to the computer;
Step 3 – Hold Volume down + Power + Home button at the same time;
Step 4 – Insert the battery and wait a bit;
Step 5 – At this point Odin should have detected your SG3 ( Yellow rectangle should appear in your );
Step 6 – Click Start button in Odin and wait about 5 min.
(copied from "How to Unbrick your galaxy 3") link:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14628451&postcount=1
turn off phone
prepare odin (load ops file and tce eclair .tar you are going to flash)
let the phone be turned off
connect phone to comp and hold the power button for 2 secs
the phone will boot and you will see a yellow box in odin
quickly click the start button in odin and let it flash
or if you have root
use this command in adb/terminal emulator
reboot download
@ale_bot
that method wont work as his home key isnt working and there isnt any need to remove sim and sd while flashing
His home button doesn't work..how is he supposed to click it?
Try getting extended power menu, and go to download mode from there
Edit:didn't see that you dont have extended power menu..i dont know any other way

My Nexus One is rooted (I forgot how I did it).
Last night suddenly my phone went off and could not reboot anymore. It stayed on "X" screen forever. I tried to hard reset (i.e. Pressing volume down and power button). Then I pressed "Recovery" and then it went restart and stayed on "X" screen forever again. What can U do?
Please help, I am a new root user. please teach me step by step to do so. thanks.
Turn it off. Hold the trackball while starting it up. If you have usb debugging on and working fastboot drivers, you can wipe your phone (fastboot -a in cmd) and flash an img file of like a stock ROM.

I had read some other members did some tricks to their phone by remove the SD card and reboot the phone. BTW, is the battery fully charged? Try to pull the battery and then put it back on.

I tried this already but still not work, I had brought my phone to some third party mobile repair centre, they said my N1 is CPU broken and will cost around US$96 to replace with a new CPU (HTC need around US$190 for mother board). I paid US$96 anyways. not sure if it worth.

The bootloader of my N1 is unlocked, I am not familiar with fastboot thing. My friend helped mine root and he is out of my country now. Gotta follow cnalbant's steps and see.
Install ClockworkMod Recovery on Nexus One Manually
Step 1: Download ClockworkMod Recovery: recovery-clockwork-2.5.1.1-passion.img (there are more current, look at the xda)
Step 2: Set up ADB for Nexus One
Step 3: Put the downloaded recovery-clockwork-2.5.1.1-passion.img in C: drive
Step 4: Turn Nexus One off and connect it to PC via USB
Step 5: Hold the Power button + Trackball together to start Nexus One in fastboot mode
Step 6: Once in fastboot mode, open Terminal / Command Prompt and run following command:
fastboot devices
This command will check if your device is connected in fastboot mode or not.
Step 7: Now run following command (place the file recovery in the same folder where the fastboot):
fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-2.5.1.1-passion.img
This will install Clockwork recovery on your Nexus One.
That’s it, enjoy!
You can either follow the above guide or this amon ra recovery guide
forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/HTC_Nexus_One/Recovery_Images
Amon ra is another recovery just like clock workmod

Try this I did and it worked to get mine booting after a bad
update.
I messed around with it using several methods of getting it to
boot into download mode until I finally got it to do it. I think
I left it plugged into the USB, powered it down until I saw the
charging screen, then I proceeded to play with the different ways
to hold the buttons to get it to download mode. If you are
persistent enough and read a little on booting methods to get
bricked phone into download mode you will succed if not then your
not for the world of trial and error... the main thing is do the
first steps I said before until it works
1. Get into Download Mode (WITH THE PHONE PLUGGED IN) by
following the steps below
*Turn off the phone until you get to the charging battery screen
(keep in mind, your phone is currently PLUGGED IN)
*Press volume up and down, and power all at once.
*As soon as the screen turns black, release your power button.
2. Unplug phone from USB
or try
2. Remove everything from your phone (SD card, sim, battery).
3. Plug your phone into your computer WITHOUT the battery, as you
have already taken it out in the last step.
4. Press and HOLD vol. up and vol. down.
5. As you are HOLDING these buttons, reattach your battery.
6. You should be in Download Mode.
7. Unplug phone from USB
any how try try try until it works
Once in download mode
Get your files together for your phone, and use Odin 1.85.
Plug into Odin and make sure it shows yellow and its added!
1. Now if your files have like 3 files and the exact .pit file
for your phone
I found mine here
http://www.droidevelopers.com/showthread.php?
11722-Download-OPS-amp-PIT-files
2. Click the PIT button and browse to your exact .pit file for
your phone *It should now have added a check in the re-partition
box under the options area of the Odin window. If not CHECK IT!
***If you don't have your .pit don't worry about this unless you
suspect, or have a bad partition
3. If you have just 1 file just click the PDA button and load the
file. If you have 3 then you will load the PDA file in PDA, the
Modem file into PHONE, and the CSC file into CSC, there are way
too many phones to link all the files so get you stuff together!
4. Now hit start.
5. When done and the phone shows the first sign of starting up IE
Logo or whatever... immediately unplug the battery from the phone
to shut it down.
6. Now put it back in and start it in Upload mode by pressing Vol
Up, Home at the same time then the Power button.
7. As soon as the phone shows the first sign of starting up IE
Logo or whatever let go of all buttons and using the Vol Up down
Choose the Clear Cache option and go through and make sure you
factory reset it if you can just for good measure.
8. Reboot
9. Now when the phone shows the first sign of starting up IE Logo
or whatever take out battery again to power off
10. Now put it back in and start it in Download mode by pressing
Vol Down, Home at the same time then the Power button.
11. Once in download mode Hook up to Odin again and flash it with
a root kernel for your phone. Do not ask me just find it. I did
it took time but I got all the files together over several days
of reading and collecting the correct ones.
12. When done and the phone shows the first sign of starting up
IE Logo or whatever... immediately unplug the battery from the
phone to shut it down.
13. Now put it back in and start it in Upload mode by pressing
Vol Up, Home at the same time then the Power button.
14. In most roots you will now have a advanced or mounting
options and more options to use.
15. I cleared the Cache again, Cleared the Davilik Cache, Went
into a option and actually mounted the cache formatted the Cache.
16. Use the option now to restart the phone...
And mine started up installed the apps and I am up and running,
nice and smooth and no issues so far
I hope this helps out someone whos just about to go off the deep
end, as I was there and patience and trial and error came up with
this step by step way to recover mine. Thank me by hitting the
little thumbs up THANKS button below this post.

I have decided to upgrade my Huawei U8800Pro stock ICS 4.0.3 to CyanogenMod 10.2 JB 4.3.
Quickly I realized that this is easily said than done. Tutorials I have found on the Internet are not good. They lead me to brick my phone twice during this process, so I've decided to share my experience with community. Here are step by step instructions:
Prerequisites:
I didn't bother to write any hyper-links, because they will probably be dead by the time you read this. Instead I wrote name of the files you can search in google.
Root_u8800pro.zip containing unlockbootloader_u8800pro.exe
AndroidHandsetUsbDriver_v1.zip containing DriverSetup.exe
gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip
cm-10.2-20130929-U8800pro-VIDEOPLAYBACK.zip (here the ROM thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2409681)
recovery6.0.3.3.img (I recomend non touch version)
HUAWEI_U8800P_Android_2.3_V100R001C00B521_Oversea_Normal_05010TXB.zip, containing dload folder (link)
404029_4.0_BasebandCWM.zip
When you have all those in place, you can start with procedure:
Install USB drivers for your phone. Run DriverSetup.exe
Connect your phone to USB and wait to get detected. Then run unlockbootloader_u8800pro.exe (chose first button and wait).
Optionaly download Root Checker from Google Play to see if your phone was rooted. You can skip this step.
Copy dload folder to root of your SD card
Unplug USB cable and turn phone off
Press Volume up + Volume down + Power on at the same time. Hold them till you see that your phone started with firmware update procedure. Wait for procedure to finish. Now you should have stock GB 2.3 rom on your phone.
Turn off your phone
Press Volume up + Volume down + Power on at the same time, and wait till you see pink screen
Connect USB cable and wait till Windows detect your phone and show you image folder. Go to that folder and backup original recovery.img.
Copy recovery6.0.3.3.img to image folder and rename it to recovery.img
Turn off your phone
Press Volume up + Power on at the same time and hold till you see recovery console
Chose factory reset
Chose clear cache
Chose advanced/clear dalvik cache
Flash 404029_4.0_BasebandCWM.zip
Flash cm-10.2-20130929-U8800pro-VIDEOPLAYBACK.zip
Flash gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip
Reboot your phone
Wait till setup wizard of CynogenMod apears
If all went well you should have CyanogenMod upp and running on your phone.
I'm not responsible If you brick your phone. I did it twice before I finally succeeded .
How to unbrick u8800pro:
You can always get back to good old Android 2.3 folowing this procedure:
Copy dload folder from HUAWEI_U8800P_Android_2.3_V100R001C00B521_Oversea_ Normal_05010TXB.zip to the root of your SD card
Turn off your phone
Hold down Volume up + Volume down + Power on and let firmware update do it's job
List of useful key combinations:
Assuming your phone is turned off.

TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK, I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SIDE EFFECTS OR ISSUES THAT COME FROM FOLLOWING THESE INSTRUCTIONS
This is what I did:
1. Go to https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/ and pick your variant of the Note edge, download that autoroot file.
2. Go to https://odindownload.com/ and get the latest Odin.
3. Put your phone in download mode by pressing power, home and volume down buttons. Press volume up when shown warning sign. Now plug your phone into your PC.
4. Go into odin, click on AP, and select the autoroot file.
5. Now press on start, and let Odin fail.
6. Unplug the phone and now take out the battery, put it back in and follow the same instructions to get into download mode. Once in download mode, plug the phone in to the computer again.
7. Go to [29/03/17][twrp recovery][v3.1.0] and get the ".tar" for your specific model.
8. Flash that the same way as you flashed the autoroot, it should pass this time.
9. Unplug the phone and take the battery out. Use the power, home and volume up buttons this time to boot into twrp.
10. Now, you can go to the adb sideload section and sideload Magisk. I would also recommend you get some other ROM for this phone as I don't know how much magisk likes Android 6. Most ROMs on the Samsung Note 4 xda page have builds for the Note edge as well.
