I am all stock rooted. I have screen full brightness, GPS off, bt off, nfc off data and Wi-Fi on. Any ideas how to increase the life via root.
Thanks

Root won't give you better battery life maybe a custom ROM and kernel would help

From my experience (I like 100% brightness also) you will probably only get about 3hours screen on time with 100% brightness regardless of what rom or kernel you run

I have been using my phone for about two hours straight now and it seems that android OS is using more battery than the screen. I thought the screen was the biggest battery drain.
Before you ask, this is the stats right from a fresh charge.

Hi. It has been two weeks since I got the nexus 7. At first, the battery lasted for a long time. Now I'm realizing that it is draining much quicker than it is supposed to. What should I do?

My battery isn't very good either. Brightness on 0 percent and still only getting about 6.5 hours of screen time.

Even on the lowest setting the screen is brighter than I would like. Is there a way to change the lowest possible brightness setting?

rootdim is also an alternative
I'm assuming that this won't extend battery life?
You can also use night mode app.. It's simple and easy to use..

Your battery stats will not be accurate until you drain more of your battery.

Slight battery drain? Your phone was only on for 17 seconds. Are you trolling us?
I wish I was trollin, really though... I had just pulled it off the charger at this time but typically average use would kill the battery after say I pull it off at 10am ish... To about early evening

You can try batteryguru from play store.
It has this option.

battery saving
You can try a Rom with the battery saving feature, im running Nexus 5 experience rom CM 11 and it has the option to enable battery saving. It just reduces CPU when screen is off. Other Roms have even more options such as turning off Location when screen is off.
would an f2fs format rom increase battery ?

No.
F2fs only increases I/o speed, if you even notice it at all.
