on mine (Verizon version), there isn't really a gap, it just leaves the 4G icon, but the data arrows aren't
I think I see what OP is talking about, it separates the toggleable/changeable items from those that are permanent.
I don't know if that was intended or this is a bug and that is just coincidence, to me it almost looks like instead of hiding the 4g icon or w/e ATT just put a black square there so when on wifi the space for that 4g icon is still reserved.

The non-US one does the same thing. It has the stock Android icon, but disappears when connected to WiFi.

Well, that's just not true. Look at all the changes with the Xbox one. People were pissed and they made major changes.

The only item left that makes the big bucks is the Xbox, Xbox live , at this point if they planned on releasing the Xbox one with all the original requirements, people would flocked over to the ps4, leaving Microsoft as the new IBM, just my opinion

right. I was referencing at the "feeling" of it, not to any specific comment. that's why I didn't quote anyone. but if you ask me, then no, I would not care so much that I wouldn't buy the phone. As a matter of fact, I did not care so much. I knew about it before I got the MotoMaker card at the AT&T store.
I would have probable had second thoughts, had I known about the camera, though... but I think I would have still bought it.

Paid full price to upgrade from a Vibrant I'd only had for 5 months. Totally worth it. There are some legitimate concerns, but most the people complaining either don't actually have one or just didn't research what they were buying.

With desire HD port, everything is running ok .. really leaning towards getting the nexus S now though since its the new kid on the block with samoled , but unfortunately not available in my area and when it is will b v expensive . I was wondering , htc desires market went up cuz it was Nexus1's sister, but what about galaxy S . Will it get more quick and easy development now just like Nexus S will in future, as both phones are hardware wise mostly the same so there should b ez portability and porting?

Not at all. Even if I did get ATT LTE where I am, which will never happen (I don't get Sprint Wimax or Verizon/ATT LTE so I don't expect it now), I like the Exynos chipset, which will not be included on any ATT version of the phone. Plus, and feel free to disagree because its a matter of personal taste, but I really like having a hard button home key. Allows you to wake the phone up without having to press the on/off button and is low on the phone -- something my small hands appreciated And you KNOW the ATT version, or any US version, will delete the hard button.

Apple really doesn't realize that a lot of Android users will not switch to Apple, even if the iPhone is the last smartphone on earth. I'd happily go back to a basic flip phone even if someone offered to pay me to take an iPhone
(I didn't say I'd refuse the offer - I'd use the money to buy a phone that I wouldn't hate myself for using, and the iPhone would be an ugly coaster/doorstop/replacement clay pigeon...)

I don't see why companys have to play dirty like this--it won't gain them much marketshare in reality. SGS II is just a better phone than iPhone, and Apple needs to understand that people will be upset if they're the ones responsible for it being removed from the market. Just my $.02

Even though the Epic 4G is several generations old it's still better and has more features such as 4G, >3.5", AMOLED, micro SD card slot, removable battery, slide out keyboard, etc. than the latest iPhone 4S. Only the iPhone5 will be catching up to it.

Actually it is the first one on the list.
so i sent my tablet in 3 consecutive times in the last month to fix a screen lift, which turned into more screen lift, then broken touchscreen, it is in for the third time right now and my tablet has devalued quite a lot(since the new 32gb variant came out)
does asus offer any kind of compensation for this? even if its like a tiny extended warranty(i mean seriously, when does a normal RMA last for a whole month and 3 consecutive times..)
does anyone have any experience with this? should i be asking them for a refund now(since theyve had my tablet in for 2 weeks since it got into their hands this time, it's just been sitting there waiting for new parts)

im pretty determined, already made a post on their facebook asking whether or not they offer this sort of thing... will update when they respond(if at all)
since it isnt exactly my fault that their repair center was so incompetent that i have to send the same thing back 3 times in a row to get it fixed(and im not even sure if it'll get fixed when it gets back to me)
Ask for a refund...or tell them to give you a free upgrade. Can't hurt to try. 3 returns for same problem is ridiculous.

posted a little something for them on their facebook, hopefully ill get a reply on monday $
and yes..it was very annoying especially because their reps hangs up on me alot...on top of that i have to ask for a label and wait several days(if not an entire week) for shipping label(only after the first rma)...
its in for the third rma right now and im hoping they will fix it this time-.-(2 weeks since when it got in, theyre waiting for parts apparently)

Not saying he will but its worth a shot. I've received things from companies when they screwed up. I had a heated seat short out in my BMW. Had to wait 3 weeks for a seat from Germany. Car was driveable but I coukdnt adjust my seat. Not a big deal at all. They paid my lease for the month. I have a few other stories like that and know plenty of people that have been treated fairly. Ever heard the saying "the squeaky wheel gets oiled"
Doing something would also include giving a refund. I'm not saying just pay him money. Return, free upgrade to 32gb, even a free case.

I know its just a colour but i quite like the white as I'm sure others do to. But with very little In the way of actual confirmation I have been disappointed.
Every day I check xda for news or leaked info etc but nothing.
Surprisingly though I found this info else where on the nexus 4 production dates thread and seems to be widely missed. Although It may have been brought up I am unaware of it.
Viva... Something or other (sorry on the mobile app and can't remember your username) posted up a link to a service update PDF from lg which includes lots of info about changes made and dates these were introduced
If you look at the most recent ones at the end of march that discuss changing the supports for the volume rocker on the phone it specifically states two different part numbers one for a white volume rocker and one for a black.
So if this is at the end of march then a may launch of white seems ever more likely
