Hey guys
I have problems with my network... it goes into emergency calls only... So I usually flash csc for fixing it. does anyone know any other way??
Also, this time I tried to flash the csc fr ddmd1, but when it went into the recovery, the signature verification failed so csc wasnt flashed. Can anyone help??

if it was working before and you suddenly get emergancy calls only it means your signal is too weak or there is a problem with your network - just wait and your network will fix their problem
if it was a result of incorrect flashing of files - then flash stock rom via odin from dokys thread for your country
note signature verification can be disabled from cwm advanced options

Yes it was because of flashing the ota updates on my rom. But I don't want to reflash stock. It also happens if I restore anything from cwm.

Ok I really screwed the pooch on this one. I'm not sure how I did it but I used the cf auto root and cw recovery and flashed the wanalite rom and everything was fine. Then I wanted to try out a new rom so I flashed a cm 10 rom and had no data except wifi. When I turn wifi off there's no little 3g icon and also I can't make calls anymore. There's no little bars at the top only a little circle with a line through it. Ive tried factory reset, flashing the original firmware, messing with the apn settings and so on. Anyone help please?

A little more info. I flashed twrp recovery and used that to make a back up. Then I wiped all the stuff you're supposed to before flashing a new ROM. Now here's where I screwed up. I then wiped the data. The one on the right that makes you type in the word yes to wipe it. I didn't realize it would wipe out all my back up s and everything. So now I can't get my phone to work. If I have to end up taking it in for an insurance claim what should I do. Unroot and use triangle away. Then tell them my problems. I really don't know what to do here. I need your help as I'm not very good at this stuff. Anyone have any fixes?

Best I can tell ya is download a pre rooted rom, should be a mega thread of them and install via odin.
Real simple instructions there.
That should get you back to normal.
Gd luck

Sorry , you're unlucky man. You just wipe all partitions including EFS (IMEI/baseband lost). Only thing is sending the phone to Samsung service and maybe they will change the motherboard or reflash it. No ROM/firmware contains those hidden partitions so flashing your own will not help .

What does your phone display if you call the following?
Code:
*#06#
It should display a valid IMEI then.

I think that your phone is quite messed up, from the installation point of view.
You have to try to get totally back to stock.
Get your FW from sammobile (the one that matches country, operator, etc). Get stock recovery. Install both, then do (several) factory resets. It should work....
I would not go on very high level workarounds (reinstall PIT< etc), as you might totally brick your phone.

bro, go to this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2250824 and download the correct stock kernel for your phone (go to about device and check which "xxuam--" it is), for me it was xxuame2 gti-9505, after downloading the kernel, switch phone off, REMOVE sim card, then flash the stock kernel, after flash, factory reset, then insert sim card. now it should work. get back to me if it does...

Yeah it's got the little circle with the line trough it and I tried your link and nothing but I've been seeing some things about not using the front usb port on your computer so I'm going to switch to the back one and try everything again. I'll report back when I'm done.

i doubt the usb port will change anything mate...i still have the circle with the line, not sure what to do right now. i have flashed everything to stock, rom, kernel and recovery still same ****
I had same issue on mine but mine is all stock (for now). I had to go back to the settings and pick network operator again in order for it to pick up the network again.
Well I got it fixed. I had to fully unroot then run triangle away and then take it to the sprint store. All they did was a hard reset (not a factory reset but something with their computer) and everything was back to normal. Whew thought I was going to have to get a new phone.
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda app-developers app
hi, did you check first in your apn list if the settings were present (connexions - more networks - mobile networks - access point names )? If not present check on your operator website to get the information needed. Normally It should have helped you with this problem
Yeah I messed with that for hours. In many different roms. I think I did every thing I possibly could except for hard reset.

I've searched and searched the forums since last Friday but I am still unable to find a resolution (if any) to my issue so I apologize if this is a repost.
I went to flash my Note 3 last Friday and ended up with an "ext4 image invalid" error. When trying to reboot, my phone will only enter recovery and download modes (basic power up shows Firmware Error Upon Upgrade message). When I wipe the cache and factory restore, a basic power up will sit on the "Samsung Galaxy Note 3" title screen. I've tried reflashing other ROMs but I either end up with the ext4 error or another error (apologize as I'm not near my computer right now).
One big thing I forgot to do is to turn off the Reactivation Lock before the original flash which I think is causing my errors but I cannot boot up now to turn it off. I've also tried to recovery through Kies 3 but its saying that my device isn't supported. I have no backup files.
Is there any way to get my Note 3 back up and running?

I've tried searching with no luck but here is the problem I'm having. I recently installed Kangakat 4.3 on my Bell Galaxy S4 337m and applied the kernel fix but every single time I put the phone to sleep it disconnects the cell network and upon waking the phone I manually have to connect it to the Bell network again.
Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks.

You have to use mobile Odin.
If you are using Odin sellect the file under phone. Not pda or bootloader or csc.

I can't get mobile odin to run, says it cannot detect root as the phone is not supported. Using Odin from the desktop it says it's successful but upon boot the baseband still unchanged.
Yeah you need mobile Odin running on your phone. Is your phone rooted at least.
Sent from my SGH-I337M using xda app-developers app
Yes it is rooted. What I am doing now is flashing back the stock rom. Will re-root then flash the custom rom again. Hopefully that will allow me to get the modem.bin to actually load via Mobile Odin.
Mairei said:
I definitely didn't want to flash OTA official update as it doesn't allow downgrades, adds Knox and slew of other disadvantages. Why not enjoy iB4STiD's lean mean ROM? i337M meant it wasn't easy and instructions, misinformation everywhere where it took me quite a bit of time to verify and consolidate.
Since I had a hard time finding complete steps, here's my attempt to help my fellow Canadians: :fingers-crossed:
If you were like me already rooted, using a 4.2 MH1 based ROM like Infamous Alpha with 4.2 baseband. (IF YOU ALREADY HAVE MK6 BASEBAND, YOU CAN START AT STEP 6. Steps 1-6 are to get proper Android 4.3 MK6 baseband so you won't experience data drops on GE roms).
This step is necessary in order for Mobile Odin to recognize your i337m model so you can flash the modem in step 3.
Check your Settings, About Device and make sure you are showing correct Model# SGH-I337M.
If not, go modify build.prop to show that (I use ES File Explorer).
ES File Explorer, click on "sdcard", then device.
Navigate to system folder, hit the menu soft key and click on Root Explorer to bring up menu, choose "Mount R/W", change /system to "RW" so you can save the build.prop after you edit.
Click on build.prop and open with ES Note Editor, change these 3 lines to show:
ro.product.model=SGH-I337M
ro.product.name=jfltecan
ro.product.device=jfltecan
Hit back key a couple of times, it will prompt to save. Then go back into Root Explorer and change /system back to "RO".
Reboot phone and check the model # again.
This step is to install Mobile Odin and install flash kernel for the I337M.
Download and install Mobile Odin from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2370928&d=1383581651
then also dl these 2 files: (1) http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2053124&d=1371595808 AND (2)http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2053125&d=1371595808
extract the apk file by clicking on the first file (ES File Explorer works great for this), install the apk so Mobile Odin can flash modems on your phone.
Download canadian i337m modem from here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/basn0c726aj019u/modem[1].bin provided by a guy from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2535801&page=12) SAVE OR RENAME FILE AS MODEM.BIN, delete the [1] from file name
Install modem by using Mobile Odin, select Modem#2 and point it at the modem.bin file you renamed earlier, click Flash Firmware. If the phone goes to green android screen, hold down power key 10 secs, you want to be in blue android screen where Mobile Odin works its magic.
Boot back into your old ROM, check the Baseband again in Settings, About Device and make sure it's MK6.
Make sure you grab the kernel for at&t (identical to canadian i337m) from OP here: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?a=show&w=files&flid=8905 m version is for mainline, u is overclocked.
Go into recovery, do your usual full wipe, then install GE13. AFTER INSTALL, make sure you flash the kernel in previous step, otherwise it will not boot.
First boot takes a while but once it does, paydirt! Go setup and enjoy this awesome ROM.

Hi
Can someone please tell me If I have the correct modem etc as I am still experiencing loss of data when my phone locks! Not sure if it is the modem or something else that causes my signal to go.
I loose signal 60% of the time when I lock my phone and I have searched everywhere on here and cannot find a solution. I updated my modem which improved slightly BUT I still am experiencing data loss when I go into lockscreen
I dont want to have to go back to original software but im beginning to9 give up with this issue and it leaves me with no other option
I have attached screenshots of what im running to give you an idea, hope this helps!!!
