You need to wipe data, system, and the caches before you flash the rom.

After you flash/install a stock fw or a custom rom, you should do a factory reset and ur bootloop will go away.

hello, i have done this also. still there
it still gets stuck at Samsung screen
bump
Well, I'm not positive about that variant but if the bootloader is locked you would need a rom or kernel with loki or you would need a custom recovery with auto-loki. If you look at the kernel you flash instead of boot.img in the zip it will be boot.lok. Not sure if this is the case for your phone but you should look into it if you haven't already.
You probably also have a bad download..please check your download rom md5 make sure they're matching ..if not re-download ..

Hello Everyone. I flashed the 4.3 Google Edition Rom and after about a day of use it crashed. I booted into TWRP and attempted to boot into the system to find that It would say the typical 'Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505 bla bla.' I then went back to TWRP and attempted to flash the backups of Stock TouchWiz via my 32gb SD Card (note my s4 is 16gb) and it would come up with failed and prompted me to wipe dalvic cache ect. Stressing out I went on to odin and flashed an Optus Carrier Stock Touchwiz Firmware. This did not work either making me still boot loop. I was however unrooted and did not have a custom recovery. And here we are now, I re-flashed root and TWRP attempting again to flash my backups and once again they fail on me.
Please. Any help would be highly appreciated. I currently have a phone with stock touchwiz (which doesnt boot), TWRP and Root flashed aswell. Thats It. Once again please. Ive checked plenty of other threads however they were all fixed some way or another.
Thanks for your Help Everyone..!

just flash any original firmware via odin!
for example I9505XXUBMF8_I9505OXABMF8_I9505XXUBMF8
after that boot into stock recovery and wipe/delete data.
this should help.
also i wouldn't use any ge firmware until it's official released.
there are some bugs like you can't enter sim code or very heavy battery usage
good luck
if you've already tried standard ROM for i9505 and it did not helped - your bootloader was changed during the flash of Google ROM.
What do you need now: full ROM which would include bootloader, pit etc., and flash it with repartition.
P.S. ask any mod to move this thread to Q&A section, where it shall be...
DONE!
Guys, thanks for all your replies! I found a solution. I used an older version of odin and did a factory reset with the stock recovery. thx for all ur help again. I was just really stressed at the time so..! haha
Have the same problem with my Galaxy S4 Google Edition
I just bought a Google Ediion Galaxy S4 from the play store, and I followed the instructions in this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2341162). And my phone is screwed, it is stuck with the black screen and the Google Logo in the background. I can get into download and recovery mode, but only when I take the battery out first then reboot it in either mode. Can anyone help me please?

Go in recovery mode and clear the caches and optionaly do a data factory reset.
Please search the forums first for a solution to your problem ,there is plenty of bootloop threads.

Hi,
I tried different things to install different GE rom on my i9505 but i always get stuck on samsung logo at reboot :
- install 4.3 GE rom from TWR after wiping cache and data : i can boot up once, but next reboot i get stuck on samsung logo
- install 4.3 GE rom from CWM after wiping cache and data : can't boot up
- install 4.3 GE rom from Philz touch after wiping cache and data : can't boot up
If anyone has some advice for me ?
Thx
EDIT : could it be my radio : XXUBMH1 ?
I saw in this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2483148 that installing the latest firmware will help, true ?
According to sammobile available firmwares i think that i'm stuck since there is no french firmware for android 4.3 !

have you tried wiping the dalvik cache along with data and cache? - usually need to perform all 3 wipes when going to a new rom.

Thx for your answer, i performed many different wipes, and you right, the only combination which enables me to boot is :
wiping the dalvik cache, wiping cache ant formating /data. Then i install the new ROM using TWR and i can boot/use this ROM until next reboot.
I really think that this is linked to the firmware i'm using. I was under 4.2.2 and i'm trying to install 4.3 so i guess i also have to change the firmware, i don't know where i can find a new fmw compiled for 4.3 ...

i used 4.3 roms to test them out and never had any issues going from a stock Samsung based 4.2.2 rom so i cant see why its causing you a problem.
Why not try the 4.3 version Indie has available in his Omega rom thread.
If I go on the Omega roms thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2253528), I can read : Omega v2.0 Android 4.3 Based on beta firmware GUEUBMG8
I think you are lucky and you have the right firmware to install new roms (maybe this is because i have a firmware from orange (fr) and they lock everything in order to annoy as possible !)
I'll try anyway but i think it won't work.

It works !
Hi ,
Don't know how but it works now ! I reinstalled the whole thing many times and it seems to work. Now I can reboot without getting stuck, did it twice. The only thing I can remember : I did not install voice dictionaries for google keyboard, I don't have time time to try it for now and i doubt there is a link. I'll try it someday !
Hi,
Earlier today I was trying to install the 4.3 omega rom (GE), so I went into recovery and accidently wiped the data before I installed the rom. I am not sure what caused the issue my phone is just stuck on the S4 boot screen.
I tried reinstalling the previous rom (Omega 4.2.2) and it made no difference. I have TWRP recovery and I can get into recovery fine. I noticed that I cannot factory reset from TWRP and it says E/data cannot be mount, reset failed.
I am not sure what to do and how to fix my phone I tried to look for e/data issue but I cannot find much on that issue and I am noobie to this so I cannot understand some processes that are mentioned. I tried not to mess around too much after I realised its stuck.
Please help!

Hi,
I think you can use Odin and flash your ROM via USB.
Do you have a backup ROM?

Hi there,
Please help me. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505.
It was rooted and had custom rom installed with Kitkat 4.4. The custom rom was Echoe S5 Port.
I did a full backup of the system and rom before trying to install a different rom.
I attempted to install Albe95 LolliRom version 9.0. I followed all instructions and installed the Modems and bootloader.
Installed the rom, however after rebooting it hangs on the "Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505" screen. (not the Samsung logo screen)
So I decided to go back to my backup. Wiped data, cache etc and restored through TWRP. - Successful
Reboots fine, able to use the phone as normal, however the second reboot hangs on the "Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505" screen.
I even tried a fresh install of the Echoe S5 port rom and it does the same thing on the second reboot.
I can get into TWRP recovery fine.
All roms were used from this forum.
Let me know if there is any further information required.
Please advise a way forward to recover my phone, thanks.
Try a different bootloader would be my first suggestion.

No luck, tried various different bootloaders for my model.
I suggest flashing back to a completely stock ROM from sammobile.com and set up the phone to ensure that all functions are working. If everything is fine on a stock ROM, then I would flash TWRP and try to restore the backup.

Just flashed back to stock ROM.
Still stuck on "Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505" screen.
I'm almost in same situation and it made me to ask you: Did you try to use Odin to flash the ROM?
After flashing a stock ROM with Odin, did you perform a factory wipe in stock recovery before booting the phone for the first time?
