This is the 3rd time i format my phone and until i install wanam i have no issues, but when i do i always get bootloops. Whats happens is i install wanam and reboot to apply settings and then it boot normally, i see the lockscreen and the it turns off and boots directly to samsung letters and hangs there, could hang there for 5, 10, 20 minutes, then it boots back into the lockscreen and then hangs on samsung letters again. Tried clearing cache, nothing. I'm giving up on this wanam...anybody knows how to troubleshoot the issue?

yes, fakesystemstatus was the first thing i activated...i will try to reinstall everything and not touch that
Alright so i started theming, basically just changing a few colors here and there and the same issue happened once again! It hangs on Samsung letters
So the issue is with wanam, i've been running xposed and a few of its modules for the past couple days with no issues, but as soon as wanam goes on, things get problematic
I had both wanam and gravity box running for almost a week with no problem. Last night I thought there were quite a few overlapping settings and maybe I should just stop using one of those two modules. So I unticked wanam in the installer and rebooted.... WAH!! all hell broke loose and the phone just kept rebooting. It must be at least 10 times before it just stopped by itself and stayed on. I quickly went into xposed installer and uninstalled wanam. After that it didn't reboot itself any more. I'm just worried that something might be messed up and I'll need to wipe it clean. Let's hope that it won't be necessary.
So if you're trying to get rid of wanam after reading this thread, just be warned that what happened to me might happen to you too. Then if nothing works, you can always wipe and start again in recovery, stock or cwm.
I just need to mention gravity box here because it does most of what wanam can do and some more. There is even a mod to toggle flash led on the lock screen with the home key, instead of using the volume up key. Also most of the settings are activated without rebooting. Give it a try and you won't regret it.

GB is meant for AOSP-based roms - stock Android, or close to it - TouchWiz is definitely not that. Wanam is essentially the TW-equivalent of GB.
Well that's why I installed wanam first, then I read here someone was using it on his note3 and it works alright. So I tried it too and it's been problem free so far.

I have xblast toolls installed. Same problem here with bootloop after install.
I have 5 Modules installed and it seems there's a bootloop for every mod installed. I think it reboots after the mod is run and then moves on to the next mod. It eventually boots into lock screen and stays there but it can take a while...
I have 2 modules installled, wanam and greenify. Every time i change a setting in wanam and reboot, it get bootloop. Left it there for 2 hours yesterday and it never booted back in OS. Although i have found that clearing dalvik and cache maked it loop only once and then it boots back in OS

Strange. No issues here. I installed xposed, updated and then rebooted. Then played a lot with wanam, rebooted for like 10 times. No issues.

Trying to figure out how to remove this ridiculous thing. Who doesn't know what airplane mode is? I've heard you can remove this and the volume warning with xposed but I can't seem to find that option in xposed. i've attached a screen shot of the warning. I'm rooted and running the latest jelly bean ROM. sorry, this has probably been discussed before but i was unable to find it.

If you've installed the Xposed Framework the Wanam Module will allow you to disable the pop-up, it's listed under the Notification Panel settings.

I just tried it and it worked for me on Baja ROM. Did you enable the Wanam module in the Xposed settings? It may not help but you might want to try clearing cache and dalvik, it's worth a shot.
Here is a screen shot of the pop up after the reboot with the option checked. For some reason I was unable to post the pic from tapatalk

Actually not sure how to enable the Wanam module from the settings. But, when I tried to find the settings I went in to custom Settings-Xposed framework mods. When clicked on wanam xposed custom Settings failed and closed. I'll try going into safestrap and clearing cache and dalvik
Well, I ended flashing hyperdrive so I'll post back once I get the phone set up and I get around to tweaking

In the Xposed framework installer under the Modules section you need to put a check mark next to the modules you want activated.
Thanks for the hep, guys. Yesterday I ended up flashing hyperdrive and it already has that pop up diabled. Great ROM so far!!!!

Hello i want to ask if these 2 modules are not compatible when run both at the same time? I was using xposed for its immersive mode while in tweaksbox for my nav. bar settings ( i need to because of its nav bar theme mod ).
But just recently, my immersive mode is not working then i checked in xposed installer it was checked but when I opened g2 xposed its requiring me to enable it in xposed installer
I have rum both no problem , but the do try to interfere with each other ...choose your settings wisely

It is possible that G2Xposed updated and needed a reboot to activate. If they interfere w each other, it will cause fc's or possibly freeze up your Rom but they won't disable each other in xposed.
But sir, i always do reboot. uncheck-check in xposed installer. when i open g2 xposed it requires me to check it in installer though it is already checked..
LS980 here. Was using Gravity Box and G2 Tweaksbox just fine for the longest and recently downloaded G2 Exposed and right away noticed a conflict. While playing music and with screen turned off, long pressing on volume controls changes tracks normally. For some reason, that simple action started crashing/rebooting my phone. Uninstalled G2 Exposed and all was/is back to normal. My experience...
Rooted S5 (SM-G900F) with CF-Auto Root without problems, disabled KNOX, everything worked fine. After installing the Xposed Framework (latest) the phone get super laggy. NOTE: No Xposed Modules were activated. No SHealt force closes or anything like that some users were reporting. Only clearly visible general lag everywhere. Tried uninstalling the Framework, everything went back to normal. After reinstall, the lag appeared again.(tried 3 times, 100% it's from the framework)
Baseband: G900FXXU1ANCE
The lag has no trace in LogCat so it's irrelevant.
I hope @rovo89 already knows about the problem, but for now any solution, fix or idea?

it's very strange, because i experience no issue at all with both xposed framework and s health.
i'm using sm-g900i and here is my set-up:
- taiwanese stockrom: my original stock rom is au vodafone firmware and it's not up-to-date so i flash this one in order to have camera at lockscreen and modify dock icons which is impossible in "australia only" stock
- i flash this rom using mobile odin pro <~~ not sure if this helps!
- i flash philz touch recovery using mobile odin pro
- install xposed framework, reboot
- update everything through goole play to make sure all system apps are up-to-date
- i haven't removed/disabled any bloat ware, just hide them (greenify donation version helps a lot here)
- no laggy performance at all
hope it helps you all!

Xposed doesnt work correctly with rooted device only by using a custom kernel. You have to install also a custom rom.
OR ...
you have to change the build.prop, if you just only use a custom kernel with Xposed Framework.
- Take Root Explorer for example and open build.prop (to find in System)
- First uninstall Xposed Framwork again ...
- then go to build.prop to the line ( “ro.securestorage.support=true” )
- change true to false ( “ro.securestorage.support=false” )
- now reinstall Xposed Framework
- restart your device and both working well without any lags.
By rooting the phone the secure mode doesnt work anymore, so you have to change that in build.prop.
You dont need to do so with custom kernel and custom rom running, but with custom kernel and stock rom, as I told at the beginning.
cheers

Doesn't Work, right now as it stands is if you install Xposed Installer, the phone lags an you can't use S Health anyway, but you can do the build prop edit and get rid of the lag from Xposed and still not be able to use S Health as it will now FC no matter what lol, so if we want to use Xposed and liek S Health, we can't have both.
clear Health Service data as well, it should fix your prob
Fixed it!

I'm on stock ROM and kernel and had amazing lag while playing GTA San Andreas on low-medium settings. Uninstalled framework ,changed ro.securestorage=false, installed DVFS Disabler module, after that framework again and rebooted. I can run GTA SA on everything MAX with almost no lag at all. Thanks for this

I have stock rom, custom kernel. I did follow your instruction but I still get lags, my phone still freeze from time to time, like it was before chanting build.prop file. I'm using Samsung Galaxy note 4 and android 6.0.1
I Wana install this xposed but obviously it's causing too much difficulties. Gravity box is needed. I it makes rooting delicious. Like me I tried many times installing xposed from magisk manager but ended up with BOOTLOOP.

The build.prop value referred to (ro.secure) is in your kernel, so I wouldn't change it on most devices, or learn to love your boot-logo. The "secure storage" may be variable, but every device I've ever had said "ro.secure", which is usually not changeable on stock ROMs. Read your init.rc file to check. I have to use init.d scripts to get insecure, useful for adb as root and Xposed without all the lag.

Hi all,
With Xposed just released for Lollipop I was hoping we could start a thread on experiences thus far. I'm reading conflicting user reports that it actually works on the Shield tablet and was hoping we could consolidate our findings her.
I'll be giving it a go later tonight.
Mods, if this if in the wrong forum please feel free to move.
Not sure if this is the right forum for a post like this but..
It works. I installed it on my tablet. Your module mileage may vary depending on the modules. Some things in gravity box work, some don't etc... You're gonna need to test stuffs. As always, make a backup before installing xposed!
So far so good. I'm getting the standard "Xposed is not installed error,"
but I read it is a GUI glitch due to the way the alpha build was created. I'm using ADM+, YouTube AdAway and BootManager and don't notice any major issues yet.
I've got it installed as well. Burnt Toast, CrappaLinks, and Play Store Changelog all seem to work. It's interesting that the Lollipop Xposed thread has a ton of posts about needing to put SELinux in permissive mode followed by a soft reboot in order to get Xposed to work. I did not need to do that. SELinux is set to enforcing but Xposed is working from what I can tell
I'm using Xgels and youtube adaway. Its running fine with no reboots or crashes.
I previously had tested out gravity box for notification toggles, but as I expected, its not working. I also previously had the phab7 module installed to play with the dpi, but it doesn't seem to stick through a reboot and I was only looking to get the fullscreen notif pulldown, but I can live without so i uninstalled.
I have SELinux in permissive due to Viper4Android.
Gilbot, what DPI are you looking to use? Is there a huge benefit in altering?
Works fine for me in both permissive and enforcing.
has anyone had any success with xprivacy 3.6.6? I'm running superpichu's kernel which is supposed to have SELinux set to permissive, and indeed selinux mode changer shows it as permissive without me doing anything. The problem is when i install xprivacy and activate/reboot, i get stuck in the boot screen.

I never really messed with this tablet's dpi, but I am not sure if I dig the notification pulldown width, I feel like I want more touch room and width for notifications to include more info. Its a minor thing though and I'm fine without it.
Fair enough. Let me know if you ever do some experimenting. I'm also interested about what's gained with adjusted DPI.
FYI. I tried Xposed for the 1st time and liked it. But while using gravity box (which I also really liked) my shield CONTROLLER was acting funny.
The mapping got all screwed up and the mapping app stopping working (error message) when you hold down start on controller and click the little cloud icon to download mappings.
Anyway had to del gravity box and just did away with Xposed for now.
And now controller works fine. Weird....
Anyone else having issues with the controller using Xposed moduels?

Hi,
I had installed xposed alpha and a few modules. I had issues with it not going to sleep, and now it wouldn't turn the screen back on so I had to hard-reboot it.
How do I go about uninstalling XPosed? I did a full TWRP backup before I did xposed, if that matters.

Ha, I loved my Incredible. But yeah do a full wipe then restore.
I had to uninstall xposed. Massive battery drain. Couldn't root cause the issue definitively, but once I uninstalled battery is back to normal.
I'll wait for a more stable framework in the future.

I had no problems so far. Only one module (awesome pop up video - twitch addon) is not working, it just F/C.
So, if you ask me, its perfectly fine. But it probably denpends on the moduls you want to install.
I have shield tablet LTE which installer do I use?
Arm, arm64, x86?
Thanks in advance I've been trying to figure this out before flashing.
