I'm loving the sunbeam live wallpaper, but I don't like the extra battery drain. Is there a non-live version of it? If not, is there a way to make one?

live wallpapers do not cause any significant battery drain unless you have your screen on and the homescreen displayed the entire time. When you are in an app or the screen is off the live wallpaper is dormant so no battery drain.

Hi All,
I am handing down a NC with manualnooter on it to my son for video watch, kids books and game play but would like a better Home Screen for him to see the available icons and such. Is there anything out that would be better suited to kids? I am not looking to reduce functionality, just have bigger icons and if possible customized icons.

Try GO Launcher EX, with version 2.6 (v2.7 changes a few things i dont like). You can size the icons pretty large. My 4 and 6 yrs olds can use it just fine.

New to Samsung, Been an HTC guy for past 3 or 4 years, Getting ready to make the switch. HTC used to have a really good alarm clock that I liked, you could dim it low at night and use it on the side table. Since then they have ruinied it on the Evo 4G TLE and I have swithched to Alarm clock ultra free but it is not as good as the Old HTC and the Palm Pre built in software.
Can someone post a screenshot of the S4 alarm clock mode were the clock is dimable and takes the full screen?

Hi. I'd like a digital watchface with large numbers, date and dual battery gauges. I tried instaweather but it's extremely cluttered. I work outside and need big nice figures i can see at a swift glance. If i need a weatherforecast I only tilt my head a bit.

after reading some commentary about some apps not playing nice with Doze, i wonder if any of you all in this community know if live wallpapers might also interfere with Doze, and if they do which ones?
But primarily, my main question is, which live wallpapers are the Best which stand out when showing off your Nexus 6P to someone else. something which makes the background look just as impressive as the Nexus 6P hardware is to the eye.
hopefully one that doesn't cause too much battery drain...

I'm interested in this as well. I'm currently using Muzei but I don't know if it works with Doze or not.
I use Muzei with Facets wallpapers and it dozed last night. I lost 2 percent in 8 hrs

with tilt set to 5%, and shift set to 100%, love it.

Total agreement. Minima Pro is the business when it comes to live wallpapers. Not too much to be annoying and customize-able enough so that it can fit anyone's style

Has he xperia animated Weather Widget been discontinued?
I'm on the z5 and I can say I don't like the new style flat one as the older one looked better animation wise along with 3D style.
