New to Samsung, Been an HTC guy for past 3 or 4 years, Getting ready to make the switch. HTC used to have a really good alarm clock that I liked, you could dim it low at night and use it on the side table. Since then they have ruinied it on the Evo 4G TLE and I have swithched to Alarm clock ultra free but it is not as good as the Old HTC and the Palm Pre built in software.
Can someone post a screenshot of the S4 alarm clock mode were the clock is dimable and takes the full screen?

Try Alarm Clock Plus.

Rise Up is pretty good as well
I am more interested in a screen shot from an S4 in Desk Clock Mode (Full screen). I would prefer to use this feature rather than a 3rd party desk clock.
There's the stock jellybean alarm clock in play store

Hi
Does anyone know what app is this and is it free?
Thxs
I think it's the htc sense UI flip clock. You can download the older version of fancy widget or beautiful widget, as sense hasn't been ported to the epic yet

I use "Weather & Toggle Widget" (which I think is the same as above, it definitely changed its name at some point). It's currently $1.99, which I believe is what I paid. I use the "H7C" skin. The skins are free downloads that work as long as you have the main app. Unfortunately, it looks like the H7C skin is no longer on the market, and I'm guessing it was pulled because of a copyright claim by HTC (there was a youtube video of the skin, and that video has been pulled with a statement about an HTC copyright claim, so that's why I'm guessing the same thing happened to the skin itself).
It is by far my favorite widget. It's too bad that skin gone.
Please post questions in General section.
Looks like it might be Beautiful Widgets to me. It's about 2 dollars in the market. You can customize it with different clock and weather skins.

Hi All,
I am handing down a NC with manualnooter on it to my son for video watch, kids books and game play but would like a better Home Screen for him to see the available icons and such. Is there anything out that would be better suited to kids? I am not looking to reduce functionality, just have bigger icons and if possible customized icons.
Thanks,
Tim
Try GO Launcher EX, with version 2.6 (v2.7 changes a few things i dont like). You can size the icons pretty large. My 4 and 6 yrs olds can use it just fine.

We have a new Nexus 10 that I installed Nova Prime on and have a question - when an app is downloaded from Google Play the icon always ends up on the home screen which is ok but is there an easy way to put that app into one of the created drawers without having to go into Nova Settings, drawers, drawers, and then the actual drawer where it is to be checked off?
Thanks for any help
Just drag 'em, I guess?

nope, that just stacks them on top of each other and they still remain on the home screen
You have to do it a bit carefully. Move them over one another very slowly, until a shape is displayed in the background as in the screenshot below, when I move the xda app icon over another app. Just try it a couple of times and you will get the hang of it

I'm loving the sunbeam live wallpaper, but I don't like the extra battery drain. Is there a non-live version of it? If not, is there a way to make one?
From my CM FLO
You could take a screenshot and set it as wallpaper.

live wallpapers do not cause any significant battery drain unless you have your screen on and the homescreen displayed the entire time. When you are in an app or the screen is off the live wallpaper is dormant so no battery drain.

Just installed, looks great! Thanks for developing.
Excellent app. Pls add beaufort for air speed. Thank you so much.
HTC 10 Matte Black Power
Thanks.Really cool app. But a little bit expensive for my country (Turkey). For permanent license 9.99 TL would be good.
But if you keep working on this project, there is future in it. Gave 5 stars already and am considering to buy premium.
