Hi,
I plan to buy an Oppo find 5 however I would like to know if there are compatible dual sim adapters for it.
For instance:
* www magic-sim com
* www magicsim com
* www simore ch/en/index.php#3G-2G
My question is concern by the software part but by the hardware part.
Thx

Anyone have more info on the extra 16 pins / pinouts in the hx4700 battery compartment? I've searched far and wide with no luck.
About the the time the hx4700 was introduced Compaq was phasing out the h3xxx series expansion packs (aka sliders) and apparently HP put these 16 pins in the hx4700 for a possible future GSM phone pack or something (??) This is only a guess based on other forum posts, for example here: http://forum.brighthand.com/showthread.php?t=206468&page=2
The extra pins in the battery compartment are for a planned release of a battery with integrated GSM cellular phone. This is HPs way of saying "Goodbye sleeves." and "Hello World." The release date for this product is unknown.

I haven't found anything definitive from HP or any other source that this is what they were for. There are schematics on the HP site for various expansion packs for the h3xxx series with their 100 pin connectors. (h38xx, h39xx series devices had the same 22 pin connector as the hx4700 in addition to a 100pin connector ; They had 2 connectors on the bottom !!! )
Among other things the 100 pin connector included 2 pins that were left and right audio line out (line level signal) for higher end audio applications. Don't know if one of those 16 pins is that, but it would be nice. Wonder what else might be there? Curious?
btw They are not JTAG. This German site has good hx4700 JTAG info including a pdf manual showing where to attach wires on the mainboard and a jtag wiggler (clone?): http://home.arcor.de/EDAconsult/Page3/index.html?c~6.3 (follow links: > embedded arm > hx4700 > )
Did yoy find what those pins are for? I have the same question.

Good news, but it ist pretty old as the same thing show up in the english manual. At least i can state that th same things appear in the german version
I agree with what you are saying.... It's just that I read in another topic a poster asking if the UK models had the 8GB card.
With that and noticing Clove Technology had not updated their web site I contacted them and they got back to me after they had updated their web site.
After receiving the reply I thought why not now share this with the members.

I'm confused ...... I've jut ordered from SuperGPS / Super Etrader (cheapest around), who claim that the cards are NOT included.
I'll just have to wait and see!!
It doesn't actually say on the box that it has a card in the box. That will be where the confusion comes from. Also, the charger is in 3 parts, like the Diamond... Sooo annoying...
This is one reason why I always order from Clove Technology.
You can always guarantee they will check EVERYTHING prior to dispatch.
Plus they have an excellent customer service department and follow up emails quickly.

Is there someone who tested or found a dual sim adapter for omnia 7? I've an old adapter, dual sim 23th gen(cut version). I tried it, but the phone or doesn't connect, or crashes. I read in this forum about working adapters (28th gen and hypercard) on htc trophy that has windows 7 too, but i'd prefer to find opinions and experiences of someone with a omnia 7 phone, if possible.
(I hope you'll understand my terrible english )
Is it possible that not all Tablets have the internal UMTS Cables? I wanted to install a UMTS Card in my Tablet but i cant see any cables for the antennas.. I have the sim card slot and the pcie slot but no cabels... are they some kind of hidden under the board, so i have to remove it first?
thanks for help!
edit: i looked inside the FRU Part list and there is no WWAN Antenna set listed... i looked again inside my tablet and there is also no antenna. as the service manual tolds me, the antenna is sold with the core-board, so as i see this the antenna was removed from my tablet. the question is why? Does Lenovo remove the antennas from some models???
edit2: According to http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-slate-tablets/3G-upgradable/m-p/683969#M11403 some models does not have the wwan installed -.-
edit3: called lenvo, who told me to contact local service partner, called them as well and explained, they told me that every model is upgradeable and they will send this issue to their techincans, may they can send me a replacement antenna.. really weird. anyone has information about that?
edit4: Got a response from the service team: They told me that every model is upgradeable, but that means for some models that the complete board need to replaced (in fact its only adding the missing antenna but as there is only one FRU for both you need to do that (and yes they ask lenovo about that too and got this answer!))
So if anyone with a tablet that misses the antenna, good look to find another board with antenne to replace

Since I've never heard of this before, on any Android forum I've been to, I would assume it's not possible. I don't think you can install any drivers on any smart phone, mainly because it'd have to be written into the current version of the OS on your phone. I could be wrong, but I'm fairly sure whatever device you try to connect to your phone would have to be plug-and-play. That's why you can't use a blue tooth mouse on an iPad, for example, even though it supports blue tooth devices.
