Is there someone who tested or found a dual sim adapter for omnia 7? I've an old adapter, dual sim 23th gen(cut version). I tried it, but the phone or doesn't connect, or crashes. I read in this forum about working adapters (28th gen and hypercard) on htc trophy that has windows 7 too, but i'd prefer to find opinions and experiences of someone with a omnia 7 phone, if possible.
(I hope you'll understand my terrible english )

hi everyone, i was wondering if anyone uses this WiFi add-in Card. i use an E-TEN G500 (WinMo 5.0), so i use this WiFi card. i am having a problem, and their support team doesn't really help.
i bought it about 7 months ago, and i worked great until about 2 months ago. the blinking green light blinks and flashes (on the card), but it doesn't seem to wanna find a hotspot, even if i am standing next to my wifi router at home. Now i remember using the driver provided on the website for best stability and reliability, but i am curious as to whether the driver on the website is different than the version on the CD that was packed with the card. Also, i was trying different drivers provided from website (the WM 2003 with WLAN utility that supposedly is compatable with WM 5, the WM 5 exclusive driver, & WM 5.0 exclusive driver). 1) Which driver am i supposed to use; & 2) Does anyone have any problems with This card like i do? Like i said, the card worksa as far as mechanics (blinking green light) but my device/WiFi card doesn't seem to read any hotspots available. it would be greatly appreciated if anyone can shed some light on this and if anyone has any recommendations to any other Mini SD WiFi Card as i can't seem to find another card like this. Thanks all
its the Mini SD card (SDW-822, even though the driver doesnt descriminate between the 820 and 822), not the regular sized one. i was also reading about a "modified E300 WiFi card driver" Where can i find one and how can i download it if its gonna solve my problems?
sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place...
I'm very new to android, but I recently played with a friend's G1 running Android 2.1 and fell in love with the OS, and now I want to put Android (don't really care which version, anything is better than WinMo 5) onto my Palm Treo 750 on the AT&T network. what would I need to know in order to accomplish this?
Because my contract is up in a little under a month, I do not mind if I brick my phone that much - I can just switch back to my old Treo 650 until I can get a new phone dirt cheap when I renew.
I'm even willing to try out an experimental code that someone is trying to debug.
My one restriction is because I'm running 64-bit Windows 7, I can't directly sync my phone with my computer, I have to be able to run the upgrade to Android from a 2Gb Micro SD card.
So any suggestions?
and thanks in advance,
Odin
You could try to download and follow the instructions on: AndroidOnHtc.
I had luck just trying to HaRET.exe on different versions.
I wouldn't however ditch the CE 5.0 just yet. Without official handset manufacturer support it is unlikely to get all the features working.
Here is a List of features I have seen not working on some devices:
WiFi (actually on most)
GPS
Sound (for example on the touch pro 2)
Bluetooth (not that I care)
Screen resolution (especially if just using a Bundle designed for a different device.)
Let us know how you get on. So far I have only seen it running on HTC devices. So good luck.

Don't use WiFi, GPS, or Blue Tooth, so all I have to really worry about (other than bricking) is sound and screen resolution.
As for only working HTC phones, from what I've read, the Treo 750 is essentially a re-packaged HTC phone - though I cannot remember which one they cited.
Thanks, I'll check out that link and keep everyone appraised is I manage to get it up and running.

Same deal here. Everything works except wifi and sd. which makes it kinda useless
Same problem here
Installed Win8 32bit from MSDN, and can not get the wifi working.
Tried everything posted in the Win8 guide, but do not even get Windows 8 to see the wireless adapter at all, let alone be able to install drivers,
Tried replacing the dll's, tried wififix, .... nothing
Hope someone has the solution

Hi,
I browsed whole forum, but I didn't find any answer. I have this usb sound card "i-tec 7.1.Channel Audio Adapter" (can't post link), is there any possibility, that it will work with Galaxy Note 3? If there is any tested card which works I don't have problem to buy new one.
My desktop is broken so I'm considering, if to buy new one or replace desktop with my phone. I have 5.1 speakers and I can't find any solution how to connect it to phone. Could any one advise me how to do it?
I ask before trying anything, because I don't want to buy any useless accessories.
Thank you for your answers

Since I've never heard of this before, on any Android forum I've been to, I would assume it's not possible. I don't think you can install any drivers on any smart phone, mainly because it'd have to be written into the current version of the OS on your phone. I could be wrong, but I'm fairly sure whatever device you try to connect to your phone would have to be plug-and-play. That's why you can't use a blue tooth mouse on an iPad, for example, even though it supports blue tooth devices.
