White Nexus S

New white Nexus S pics leaked. what do you think? i copied this over from AndroidCommunity.com http://bit.ly/hS1z34
It appears that the BestBoyZ are at it again. Over in Germany there's been a leak of a supposed white-backed Samsung Nexus S. This Google phone has been the firecracker of the past few weeks as far as speed and overall fun factor go here in the states, now it's in white? Man, it's like they're in there own little world, these Google phones.

Is white the new white? Case color offerings seem to be all the rage these past few weeks, with several phones leaking the idea that their battery covers, back cases, and entire cases would be offered in more than just black. This Nexus S appears to have only a white back with a black front, giving it a rather unique look for such an already-wild device.

Me too. I hope they start selling battery covers. If someone started selling different colors on eBay, they would make a killing.

The power button and the volume rocker (Im assuming) is white as well. I will be grabbing one as well as soon as it becomes available.

Don't like it. Love the sleek all black look of the current NS.

I think it would be cool to put a black back on this, so you have a black NS with white buttons. Panda Edition.

but i love white phones and wished the whole thing was white , i think they left the front black so that way when u have the dark wallpapers you cant see the differnce in screen and phone witch i love... if it was all white i would be down to trade no problemo... long live the nexus one still best all around i think...

Definitely loving the white back! It's like a yin-yang sorta thing.

i took some time to think about it, but i prefer it all black.

Not a fan of white phones but it would look better if the whole phone was white.

The blue looks so much better than black and white... just ordered a white casing -__-. The blue has a different processor though.

That looks more like a skin than an actual phone model.

We have 4 colors in our collection. Just the minecraft 1 to find. We like the orange best as suits what the play is about. ( entertainment device )

As there stock colors i guess you could order one from Sony themselves as a replacement (lie). The front you would have to order a 3rd party body kit and open it up if Sony don't stock to sell.

Argh T_T Why do they have to sell MC swag at such a high price???

anybody got any idea how easy it would be to paint over a black/white housing

Silver to Black attempt

I bought the HTC One in silver since it was the only colour stocked by O2. But i do really prefer my phones in black so tried making a sticker for the front and back. Here's my attempt, its not perfect but what do you guys think?

I don't think so. You can see some air bubbles under the sticker and the seams from the white dividers on the top and bottom

Can you describe how you did this and or sell a kit? This would make me feel better about pre-ordering a silver One.

Im a part time graphics designer and have access to a vinyl plotter and endless types of vinyl. So i got to work by creating a template of the front/back for the plotter, loaded the matt black vinyl and let the plotter do the rest.
The hard part was measuring every aspect of the fone, as you can see for the front camera n sensors I got the measurements slightly wrong.
In the future i would love to try carbon fiber vinyl on this.

I don't care about black or silver.
The main thing is, the surface is not shiny.
That's why I always liked the phones from HTC (my One is on the way )

I think a matte sky blue...a la Volvo's blue in their performance line...but matte or satin would look amazing on the One.

That would have been nice to have. I wish HTC had offered the Developer Edition in special colors instead of the same silver and black. That would have been nice way to differentiate.

i was thrilled to read about 64gb version being offered in red by phones4u but to my great dismay, it's still a 32gb version on the pre-order.
why is it so hard to get a htc one 64gb or s4 32gb ?

I really like it. I hated the mock-ups from a few months ago but this thing definitely looks beautiful. Still prefer my raw aluminum look, but this is very nice.

If you add some gold trim, it might as well be called Iron Man Red lol

Why not just get the dark brown? Mine looks pretty close to black to me. Also, I would NOT buy from that website. Too hinky.

Was there even a black one released? I thought it was only dark brown and white? If so, it's definitely cheesy.

There is brown black version of 5100. I have one :victory:
And yes, it looks black, only if you look closely you can notice that it is brown.

I called that company left a message because I saw that one and was curious they also supposedly have the brown Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 also left an email hut still haven't gotten a reply... So I think I'll just get the white 5100 ....

N5120 can also make phone calls. It's the LTE version
