Anyone know if there is some modded stock dialer for the 4.3 GE roms?
I really like to have the 'vibrate on answer' feature.
Cheers.

Hi There,
Try exDialer. Very neat dialer with all those features. I wanted the "Vibrate on Answer as well".
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.modoohut.dialer
Very smooth and can be themed

For some reason, Samsung always seems to have to put its own stamp on everything.
While I don't dislike the Samsung Epic unlock slider, I like the stock Android one (with both an unlock and volume slider) better.
Is it possible to get rid of the Sammy lockscreen and use the standard Android lock on the Epic?

Almost ALL of the available ROM threads have a flashable zip on their page to replace the lockscreen with the vanilla one.
There is an apparently calls widget locker which u can put the original lock the iPhone lock sense lock or create your own custom 6+ option lock pretty cool once installed u can also use stock android home and disable the touchwiz taskbar on bottom

Everything I've seen says the widget locker lockscreen causes all kind of problems...

The only ROM I found with a flashable vanilla lockscreen was Epic Experience, and flashing the vanilla lock zip had no effect.

I use widget locker and it doesn't give me any problems. It can be a bit slow sometimes and occasionally the stock lock screen shows up but overall it's pretty good. I would recommend it, it's just $2.

Did you try clearing your cache?

Yes, but I think the problem is that I'm not on a de-odexed ROM (I'm on stock rooted ROM w/Clockwork)

You've probably hit the nail on the head there. My next question was going to be what ROM you were using... I never tried it on a odexed ROM, wasn't sure it would work on one.

Yeah I found some evidence in other threads that flashing the AOSP lockscreen mod on the stock ROM will not work (because it's not de-odexed). There is a de-odexed version of the stock ROM on the Wiki, I may try that since I'm happy with the stock ROM otherwise.
Thanks for all your help.
I have searched and havent been able to find anything on this. I am currently using the PACman ROM on my nexus 4 and I love it. But I tried the ROM cyankang and that one has this feature built into the ROM is there a way to put this in the pacman ROM or any other ROM on my own?

There many roms with this feature but If you want to stay on PAC ROM and want to have that feature, use Nova launcher it has that feature to hide the status bar.

Thank you, I have tried what you said, to use Nova Launcher and it works... but only at the homescreen. Is there a perminate way to hide the status bar?

You can change between list and tab view in the settings app through the menu, but it still won't be exactly like the AOSP settings... Only way to truly get that currently is to flash an AOSP based rom onto your phone.
Any flashable .zip or xposed module to add this feature on my i9505 (4.2.2 AOSP rom, Google Edition v1 Final)?
Without using any app like Power Toggles if possible..
Thanks in advance

I still hope to get this . I know some apps in play store does this but they are really just complex notifications. I would love TW style notification on aosp.

I am running SOKP for D801 and the only thing missing is the knockon and quick window features. Is there anyway that I can get these features on my device? Thx.
