Is there a 4 way reboot menu for stock rooted 4.3 JMR66Y ROM? Having trouble finding one.
Also, battery % icons would be nice as well if someone knows of some that work for 4.3. Thanks!

I recently flashed the stock rooted 4.1.2 update via twrp. Coming from clean ROM, does anyone know where I could find a flashable zip to add an extended power menu to the stock ROM? Mostly Interested In Being able to boot into recovery easier. Thanks in advance.

I second this, would be nice to have/add to a stock build.
Now that this has been moved to q&a, anybody?

Judging from the board their really isnt much of a need to atleast not until the OTA update comes out or when custom roms and kernels come out for 4.3.. I mean battery life on 4.3 has been hit or miss, Rooting 4.3 is still buggy and may not work right?
I'll get it when my phones finally get the OTA I can wait to root if need be. Just as I can wait for custom roms and kernels too.

I am waiting for the CM 10.2 merge to complete and to see what they come up with as a solution for the whole nosuid issue on the system partition.

just flash the .33/.83 hybrid radio, download the network app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mangelow.network), select lte/gsm (auto), change your apn from epc.tmobile.com to fast.t-mobile.com and enjoy.
I actually jumped on it right away, but evidently my favorite app (Podkicker Pro) needs tweeking to be compatible with it because it keeps crashing every time i open it. I went back to 4.2.2 for now but once Podkicker is updated, then I'll jump back onto 4.3. My only regret is that I'll miss the original gtalk app. So far, I am NOT a fan of Hangouts.
Chainfire's SU for the SGS4 works on our N4s. He posted it on his Google+ page. It is also referenced in the 4.3 OTA thread.

Yep, I'm going to wait. I put the factory image on my Nexus 7, but I'm going to wait for Cyanogenmod to release a 4.3 build for the Nexus 4.
Waiting for mbq's BBQ ROM so I'll be waiting for the betas.

I got the ota link from here and haven't looked back since. I didn't have 4g for all of 20 hours and now I am on some pure Aosp goodness from Jarjar124. No complaints from me even though I thought it would kill me to be on vanilla'sh ROMs.
Going to wait till the JellyBeer ROM updates
I jumped. I'll install PA4.3 when its dropped tho. But I really like 4.3 Improvement all around.
Waiting for PA...
Can't help with the fact that I have to sacrifice so many features from custom ROM and kernel for the "upgrade". The android version can wait.
nevermind I was gonna do it but my drivers are messed up or its windows 8 fault but cmd doesnt recognize my Nexus 4 so I'll just wait for the POT update. screw it
I am waiting for Paranoid Android to upgrade to 4.3

Sorry for the noob questions but I tried to update my Nexus 4 currently rooted with 4.2.2 and Franco Kernel and I'm getting the error message "Installation Aborted". Do I need to unroot my phone in order to update to the 4.3 OTA?
Everything needs to be stock for the ota update.

Is is possible to go back to stock without losing all my data such as photos, messages, apps etc...?
What else did you change besides rooting it and installing Franco kernel?

Those were the only 2 modifications that I made. Would it possible to sideload 4.3 without having to return back to stock?

To install the ota, you can be rooted, but you have to root again. You have to be on the stock kernel and on stock recovery (for both how-tos can be found in the forums). Hopefully you didn't modification anything on the system ui or deinstalled some of the system apps, if you did you have to reflash a stock image, this can also be done without losing your data(how-to can be found in the forum), but In this case it would be easier to flash a 4.3 directly.
I'm sure you will manage your way. Good luck and happy reading
Franco kernel changes a lot of stuff, so u might get a bootloop. Just find the 4.2.2 stock kernel and flash of, then try to sideload the ota update.

I want to root my Nexus 4 and install newest CM. One problem is, that there is Android 4.4 update comming soon. So if I root my Nexus and install CM, can I get my phone back to stock and update Android to 4.4?
Yes. You can either flash the 4.4 images, or simply install a 4.4 based custom ROM (the more practical solution my opinion) since you will already have installed a custom recovery.

If I have CM installed, can I somehow get everything to stock. Like my Nexus 4 just came out of box?

Yes there is a very good guide by efrant in original section if i am not wrong.. Follow the guide and your mob is back to stock..:good:
I am following the same, because I screwed up my root.
press thanks if I helped you.
Is there anyway to get the 4.3 AOSP browser on 4.4 kitkat because I really don't like the new way where double tap/scroll to zoom happens if you know what I mean. I tried deleting the current aosp browser and pushing the old one to system but it just ended up bootlooping, any other suggestions ?
