Ok, I used odin to first flash pit and jj4 firmware, the tab then rebooted and the logo was all messed up and fuzzy, I then put it in download mode and flashed jj5 firmware and rebooted. The tab did the same again.
The display is on but nothing being displayed.
How can I flash it to a working rom and where can I get all the files to do this?.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Its sounds like you did it correctly. Try dowloading JJ4 from the net again and reflash that with odin. You can stil get to the yellow download screen right?

Dear all,
After my phone freeze during a umount internal sdcard process, I cant turn it on and it is stuck on Samsung logo.
I can access it through Odin and adb shell, and I discovered there is a corruption table/patition there, as adb parted command reported in /dev/block/mmcblk0: "error: Both the primary and backup GPT tables are corrupt. Try making a fresh table, and using Parted´s rescue feature to recover partitions"
So, I´d like to ask if somebody could help me uploading a valid pit files to be flashed in a i9500 model?
I found a pit in other topic here, but I didnt if it is a valid pit for i9500. So, I cant flash it until Im 100% sure about it. See the pit magic report and adonis.pit attached.
I really appreciate your help!!! Tks a lot!!!

Guys, Just to post my experience on trying to revive my S4 i9500: It revived!!!
So, I did this:
1) I used the ROM I9500XXUAMDK_I9500SERAMDK_I9500XXUAMDK_HOME.tar.md5 (link: http://live.samsung-updates.com/) look for your correct ROM by region.
2) The adonis.pit file (see attached on my first post). THIS PIT IS FOR ONLY i9500 S4. Dont use it for other variant!!!!
3) Odin (I used the v3.07, but I think you could use other version)
Ps.: I dont know if is mandatory or not, but my phone was able to connect in it through ODIN and ADB SHELL (Odin is mandatory!!!). So, you need to install all USB and ADB drivers (for the adb drivers I used to AdbDriverInstaller.exe on the link: http://adbdriver.com/upload/AdbDriverInstaller.exe)
4) Put the phone in download mode, pressing button volume down + home + power. The phone will ask you with you like to continue, press up volume button to confirm
5) Open the Odin and marked Auto Reboot, F.Reset Time and Re-Partition options (Re-Partition is automatic flagged when the PIT file is marked/chose.
So, choose the ROM on PDA (Odin will check MD5, so wait it finish to validate the file) and adonis.pit file on PIT field.
PS.: Dont use only pit file. It is mandatory use together the pit file and ROM file. If you flash only pit file, you will brick your phone!!!
6) Press START.
After installation, Odin will return with a GREEN PASSED message!!!
7) The phone will be rebooted and start to finish the instalation.
In my case, the phone revive successfully!!!!
I hope this post can help other guys. Use it with carefully!!! For me, this procedure worked like a charm!!! But, use this for your own risk!!!
Good luck!!!
Yay! Congrats mate! Seems like you was out of patience and took the risk of bricking completely your phone.

Yeh friend!! I looked for pit files in many sites and foruns. I just find this pit on a one Chinese site only. So, I looked the Odia post and compared the pit structure there with the pit magic report with the adonis.pit file I got. It was very similar structure and so I decided took the risk!!!
So, the luck was with me!!!!:laugh::laugh:
Tks so much my friend!!! I hope this post now can help other newbies like me to revive their phones! It's terrible to feel this sensation of torture. hahaha :highfive:

Having major issues with my note 4.
I rooted the device with CF and had no problem, I think tried to install the CWM recovery and kept getting a FAIL in odin.
Tried different USB ports, different cables and 3 different computers.
I read to try unrooting then flashing recovery and then root again.
Once I unrooted the phone was stuck in a boot-loop and I still can't flash anything to the phone, not even CF-Root now, just bombs out with a fail.
I think I might need to re-partition the device, but need a PIT file for the note 4 please. All the phone displays now is a picture of a phone a yellow triangle and a computer, I have tried connecting kies but it says the phone is not supported, maybe because it is a korean model.
Thank you in advance
Ok starting to get massively confused now.
I have managed to flash the original firmware back to the phone, I can now do this everytime without fail via odin
But I cannot flash CF-Root or CWM recovery, everytime I get a fail error, even though i was able to flash CF-Root the other day.
Anyone got any ideas please, thank you in advance
Right I have sussed it, reactivation lock was enabled, disabled this and all working fine

What did you do before this all of this happened? You need to be very careful with PIT files, it is a sure way to brick your phone if not done right or with the incorrect PIT file. Usually, loading a PIT file is your absolute last resort.

Flashing pit files should be the last resort after failing the proper flashing of the official firmware.
Uneducated flashing of pit files can lead to a hardbrick.
That is why I said. Try flashing the official firmware from a different pc. Or use a different data cable. Or change everything.
Still if the pit error occurs, then flash put and then the official firmware.
Download the official firmware from here

I recently received a Samsung Galaxy S4 from my friend as my old phone broke. When i got it, i tried to go into recovery mode and it didn't work and ended up in going in a boot loop. Every time i try and go on recovery mode it says "movinand checksum confirmation fail", so last night i decided to run Odin and flash new firmware on the device and every time i tried to flash it, it says "There is no PIT partition", so i looked around for some pits and i tried flashing them with the firmware, by themselves and i even changed to 3 different cords and when i do it keeps saying "re-repartition operation failed". I have spent way to long on this and i need help!!!
Have you tried using an original Samsung USB cable? Tried different USB ports?

Where did you get the stock ROM? You are flashing the ROM as a single file in the PDA/AP slot?

I tried two different stock ROMS, 1st from sammobile (it was a Optus Australia Rom for GT-I9505) PA and another rom for Samsung Galaxy S4 with BL,PA,CP,CSC and neither of them worked. Yes i used the PDA/PA spot on both Odin 3.07 and 3.12

Well shame nobody can help i need device fixed soon, to be able to contact my manger.
Honestly, I don't think anyone can help here. You want to have a tech look at it, but I believe the flash memory may have failed. It would explain both why you can't get into recovery as well as why you get errors saying there is no pit partition and re-partition failed in Odin.

If the flash memory failed, that would explain a lot, Thanks for your insight
Either the memory is damaged or the pit file is not correct, or both.
Jtag may be the only solution.

Could you provide me with a correct pit File for "Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 Australia, Telstra"
And if that doesn't work i will learn about Jtag and try and perform it.
I'm not sure which pit would be correct as I don't have this phone. I am in Canada and this phone was not for sale here.

Well i have tried all available PITS file included here:
JFLTE_EUR_OPEN.pit
JFLTE_EUR_OPEN_16G.pit
9505.pit
CSB_signed_Fusion3_EUR_0325_V2.pit
None of them worked, so i don't know anymore might try a JTAG connection test (first time)
I get the exact same error in odin "there is no pit partition" when i try to flash Kitkat rom/ custom recovery/ root in odin.
Yeh, still haven't been able to fix my problem
hi.my phone was same problem.did you fixed your phone?
