[Q] Where can I buy an original Nexus 10 charger? - Nexus 10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone,
I recently bought a second-hand Nexus 10 on craigslist. The previous owner lost the original charger. Hence I only got a Nexus 7 (2012) charger as a replacement. The Nexus 7 charger also has 5V/2A output, which seems to be exactly the same as that of the Nexus 10 charger. But I still wish to buy an original charger. For one thing, the Nexus 7 charger is terribly slow, charging only 10% per hour. For another, it seems the original charge is irreplaceable when the battery is completely used up. See the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=40647219
Does anyone has any suggestions where to buy an original N10 charger?
Many thanks!

I would like to know as well.

While this is not the exact Nexus 10 OEM charger, Samsung sells this USB wall charger that is listed under the accessories section for the Nexus 10 on there official website.

Smasung Galaxy Tab chargers are the same than Nexus 10 stock chargers. I had a Galaxy Tab 10.1 and its chargers was exactly the same (same p/n) than the Nexus 10 charger.

Q: Cheap charger suggestions?

I already lost the nexus 7 stock charger and my S3's charger, is there anything out there that someone recommends for charging the Nexus 7 at full rate (~2A rate, I believe)? Also would be nice to be able to charge my Galaxy S3 at full rate (~1A) using that one charger...so 3.1A+ would be ideal.
I've checked Amazon and such, just curious of anyone's experiences on here with chargers and the Nexus 7 because it's not always clear whether a charger actually charges the Nexus 7 at max charging rate. Any help is greatly appreciated!
edit: considering this one:

I'd probably want to pick up a couple of these..so $10 (yes, call me cheap) is a little more than I was hoping to pay for an off brand charger, even if I could live with a single port charger as long as it charges my Nexus 7 at max charging rate. I paid around the same price for (4) iPad 10w chargers on eBay when I was using iDevices so I'm wondering if there's anything that's a better value for the Nexus 7?
Found this thread on charging performance, enlightening...

[Q] HELP! Using Nexus 7 Wall Charger on Nexus 4?

Hi, there. Can someone help me on this issue please, I am new here.
I have a Nexus 7 Wall charger at 5V 2AMPS and I want to use it on my Nexus 4 5V 1.2A. Would it be okay to do so, without damaging the battery? Does the kernels control how much current goes to the Nexus 4?
I have no choice but use the Nexus 7 Wall charger because the one that came with Nexus 4 was defected. I called Google but they said I would have to return the whole thing, but I don't want to since, who knows, the Next one may have a bad phone instead.
Google Play told me using other phone adapter would be fine, but they didn't know about Nexus 7 Wall Charger.
It would be great if someone could give me some advice, Thank You!

It will work, most phones would limit the power draw from the source to make sure battery charge at the proper rate. If you use a custom kernel with fast charge enabled, you will degrade the battery quicker.
I've used about 6 different chargers on this, gnex, and others including the nexus 7. They all work fine, but slower ones just charge slower.

[Q] anybody know where to buy the OEM 1.2 amp charger for nexus 4

I really need the stock charger I lost mine :'( ......any body know where to get one????
I got mine from buychina. Search for nexus 4 chargers and there will be 3 that look like the ones out of the box (2 prong if you're in the US). One of them is the 1.2mAh charger

You can also use a different charger.
I'm using an original Samsung charger.
Better for me cuz the stock charger makes a strange noise
i hate and won't let me sleep
You really don't need to buy an OEM charger. In fact, 1.2A is quite low for a good USB charger nowadays, you can use a 2A charger. It may not improve charging time though, only a little perhaps.

Nexus 7 not charging on 2A charger?

I bought a nexus online and it charged with factory settings. I have since unlocked the bootloader and rooted. Now my nexus 7 only charges when it is turned off when I use my 2 Amp chargers. I don't understand. Here's the weirdest part, my bionic charger works on the nexus 7 when turned on. Yeah. 850 mAh. What the fek?
