So I was wandering around all the s3 forums and I saw that they had a zip to flash that enabled auto correct and I was wondering if it would be possible to make one for the s4 I would be more than willing to throw a donation out there for it

Ummm, the defaut Samsung keyboard comes with auto correct.
You didn't specify which keyboard you are using.
It's much easier to help you if we know what you're using.
I am on the stock samsung keyboard on the s4 and there is no autocorrect unless im blind. There is text prediction but no auto correct

Ok, I guess I'm confusing text predict with auto correct.

I don't know of an autocorrect zip but Kii keyboard is free and has an awesome autocorrect. You could give it a try it sets up much like the stock keyboard.

Perhaps some of the code used for the Note 2 will work for the S4?

I just upgraded from an EVO LTE to a GS4. I am missing the auto-correct that I had on HTC's keyboard. On the EVO I could blaze through texts while it would automatically insert the correct word. So far, I cannot find this option on the GS4 keyboard. Does anyone know if this is an option and if so, how do you turn it on?
I would like to know as well. I been using swift key flow but I like the stock keyboard just missing auto correct

I am glad you mentioned SwiftKey! I forgot that it has autocorrect. I still wish the stock keyboard had it though.

Your welcome. i have the paid version of it and i love it. i got it a while back when it first came out and then there was a sale with that and several other good ones. But it has improved and its incredible. just needs better themes.
How can i have the stock keyboard to auto input text suggestions?

Go to the Samsung keyboard settings. Than activate Predictive Text and click on it. There check the box for auto replacement.

What phone do you have? What ROM? Definitely you have this option. What language keyboard do you use? Do you know how to find the Samsung keyboard settings?

That is useless. It replaces words such as 'at' after you have typed them and pressed space with ones like 'or' or 'now' it's crazy!
This option is not in US phones has something to do with apples law suit against Samsung for autocorrect. I use swiftkey because of this, works great.

It is because of the phone lag. You just have to wait a little bit before typing the space.

Try "SmartKeyboard". Great app, customer autotexts and NO lag. There is a trial version.

I don't see Microsoft suing for use of auto-correct. Apple is just plain asinine in that regard.
I have not found swiftkey to slow my phone down at all. I'm loving it more than stock so far.

The Samsung keypad lag on predictive text input is terrible. I disabled it for that reason.

I'm a Swiftkey user, wouldn't have it any other way now, well worth the 69p I paid for it.

Right I was reluctant to try it because I felt the stock should work right but after using it I wouldn't have it any other way. Completely changes your interaction with the phone.

Used to swear by the stock Google AOSP keyboard, couldn't get used to Swiftkey at first but after 2 weeks of using it, I love it.
Anyway we can load it on to our US versions so we can have auto correction ?

thats true, does swiftkey have auto-correct and dedicated number row?
im using one which has autocorrect but not dedicated number row
what was the samsung thinking with no autocorrect lol
No numbers row but auto correct works well. I had heard Samsung removed it on US versions cause of Apple. Kii has a paid one with numbers row and autocorrect with swype feature but the swype freezes some
I have this annoying issue where I install swiftkey on my Omega rom i9505 and within like 10 minutes the samsung keyboard becomes default again, so i set swiftkey again...same thing, any ideas?

Rename the Samsung keyboard and add .bak to LatinIME.apk (or something like that) and it will not be activated after a boot.
Same thing happened to me with SwiftKey too. I deleted all other keyboards so now SwiftKey is my only keyboard and it's fine

Wouldn`t do that, if you`re custom keyboard crashes for some reason you have none left for input.
What exactly do you do? I have this issue too

Never crashed on me yet dude.
And it's not a big deal anyway, if it did I can always put stock keyboard back in system/apps.
I only ever use SwiftKey so seems pointless having all the others
switch to swiftkey tablet, that fixed the issued for me
How?

I think Samsung keybord does not have small keys written on buttons. I think you are using modded keyboard or some regional one.
Try using Samsung international keyboard or Google keyboard from play store.
