S4 wallpapers need to be 1920 (height) by 1080 (width), or for launchers where the wallpaper scrolls you take the width and multiply it by two (1920x1920)
If the res is lower then it will zoom in, also if the aspect ratio of the original image is to different from the s4 then it may also zoom and auto crop parts :/ hope this helps, otherwise good luck!

1080x1080 or 1920x1920???? anyway can you tell me for my case that i have wallpaper scroll ..what is the correct size to make the wallpaper in full size without zoom???

it depends on ROM, and launcher.
the stock launcher wall paper size is 1080*1920
any other launcher with wallpaper scrolling should be 2160*1920

What is wallpaper size for TF101?

Found alot of wallpapers online, when selected as wallpaper it doesn't turn out or look right, what is the resolution size for our TF101?
There is a wallpaper site for the TF. Search it in the "Themes and Apps" section. I'm sure you can get the resolution from one of the wallpapers there.
2h x w
Generally, the rule for making your own custom wallpapers is:
largest screen dimension by 2x shorter screen dimension. For a portrait tablet, that's 2xHeight by width
wxga phone (800 x 480) = 960 x 800
Nook Color / G-Tablet / Galaxy Tab (1024 x 600) = 1200 x 1024
Transformer (1280 x 800) = 1600 x 1280

rather than waste time resizing tons of images like i used to, i just hit up wallbase and grab 2560x1600 images.... with the crop window in 3.1 they all turn out great.

interfacelift is great - they do not offer precropped wallpapers for 1080p Android devices, however, you can create them yourself.
The size of a "normal" precropped 720p Android wallpaper is 1440x1280. For a 1080p phone, you need 2160x1920.
So if you take any of their "normal" widescreen wallpapers with a resolution higher than that, you can either:
Crop them in a good image editor to the same aspect ratio as an Android wallpaper and then rescale to 2160x1920 or
Crop/rescale them with the device/launcher's wallpaper picker
(An image editor might have slightly better scaling, so the results might look slightly better on your device.)

[Q] One-handed shrunk screen background color BLUE - why not BLACK?

This video shows this cool new feature to aid one handed use:
http://youtu.be/S2Yr7PvgKQw?t=33s
I was surprised to see however that the background color of the unused screen area is blue instead of black - which would make much more sense on AMOLED.
Can that color be configured? Or maybe it's a safety measure against screen burn-in? Also, the border of the box could be a darker color...

Sounds like a cool feature, but I will never use it. It's why I bought a screen that size and not a screen size that it shrinks down to lol. Can be useful to some, but honestly defeats the purpose of the note haha. As for the colors, I have no idea...

I agree. I have big hands and could reach all points of note 2 so I'm not worried about it but nice for some people

I'm sure that color can be changed (at least I THINK I saw black in another video). As for the burn-in, blue IS what causes the burn in. So blue would actually make it much worse.
they probably made it blue so it's easy to see, so when you move it back to original you can place it exactly in place, instead of black where you might find it hard to put back.
unless of course there is a reset....

Boot animation from Imgur

So I was browsing Imgur and I found this cool gif.
http://imgur.com/gallery/javIBwt
As the caption says: There is no rotational movement in this picture. They are all travelling linearly.
In the comments there are different versions linked that could also make boot animations, but I made the main one an animation.
The size is 800x800 which I think looks good on the Nexus 5. Can't say the same for other devices.

Edit: the preview on the Nexus 5 looks odd. Best viewed on PC

I think your choice is excellent, because it's not so simple, not so complex for other gifs.
Thanks for your converting!

440 looks really good!
I always like having more on my screen as well, so that DPI is worth checking out when I get my 6P, thanks.
520 is my favourite. I find lower than just too small.

anyone having issues with SwiftKey after changing DPI ?
Yes swiftkey breaks when you change DPI. I mailed them and this is the reply I got
Ryan (SwiftKey)
Hi,
Thank you for contacting SwiftKey Support. We appreciate you taking the time to reach out.
Have you changed your DPI. This is what happens when people change the DPI, as we don't support this.
Cheers,

I am using 320 for mine. Looks great, a little small on some applications, but everything is working well at this DPI.
Using 480. These old eyes just can't see well if I take it any smaller

I changed mine to 400 yesterday, and I quite like it actually..
440 seems to be the sweet spot...adding more icons/content to the homescreen etc is a go
