Apparently, the S4 just got dual-boot. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2417600
Any chance we can receive the same from our awesome developers over here with the Nexus 10?

Hello. I currently own an s3 i love it but my fiancee didnt want to spend the dough and buy one... I recently purchased a Galaxy Nexus from Wirefly.com $50 dollars for a renewal upgrade figured it was an awesome deal..used a prmo code for a free bluetooth... anyways the wifey need a new phone (still using a samsung epic) and it worked out.. I was Very suprised to see 32gb internal no sd card but great for her and games lol
anybody have a recommendation on the best rom for her to use (bug free)? I know theres always a handful to choose from I was just hoping one might have a preference. . thanks

This is the Nexus "S" forums. You should take a look in the GNexus area.
My bad I just saw nexus in the forum list on tapatalk. Anyway a moderator could switch it for me?

I'm sure they probably will when they see it. It's a common mistake really. Sorry I couldn't be of help. I'm actually holding out till to see what the 1st of the year holds for us in the land of Android.
There are roms that are available for both the ns and the gnex...
I am using black bean which is inverted and similar to aokp!
Slim Rom is also pretty good if she likes stock-ish roms!

I dont believe it! Plus I'm on 4.3 for awhile. I even wil say that I will probably be on 4.4 before the official 4.3 from sammy! :sly:
Enviado do meu GT-I9305 utilizando Tapatalk 4
we got to have hope gents! Besides, the 4.3 available for us right now is not the same as we can get from samsung...i know that all that bloat is to much, but it can also bring to us the features that made many of us to buy this awesome smartphone... just got to keep that in mind and believe loool
Hope to be as expected.!
I think 4.3 update for S4 is before S3, maybe we should wait for more......
Thanks for the good news :d
Thanks

I hope sammy will give us updates, 4.1.2 is boring now, and the leaked 4.2 is not that good.

Yeah, they had you in mind.
Let's just wait and see
And better not expect for a big changes
Waiting
Wish it will give big improvement. Leaked 4.2.2 was an heart breaker.
I'm skeptical..... Sammy has always been late in delivering their updates. And we are talking about a jump from 4.1.2 to 4.3.

I'll wait and see since 4.2 was initially meant to be May/June then due to 4.3 they decided to skip now with 4.4 being announced who knows they may play the skipping game again.

The first two are Grouper; the last one is Tilapia, if that's what you're asking.

Indeed they are!
I only recently discovered this myself, when I was at my local supermarket recently, and I spotted a huge sign, near the fishmongers, advertising tilapia as being on special offer for that day.
Tuna and Manta is sort of the obvious giveaway, but unless you're a gourmet, grouper (my Nexus 7), does not invoke anything 'fishy' to my mind... unless fastboot fails... at which point, I usually say '...something fishy about this...'.

Hi, SilverDragon24...
Well... 'grouper' Nexus 7 is WiFi only... whereas the 'tilapia' model is both WiFi AND Cellular (3G).
So.. you're going to be need to be close to a WiFi 'hotspot' if you buy a 'grouper' Nexus 7.
If you go for a 'tilapia' Nexus 7, you'll need a SIM card, and some sort of mobile data carrier plan (similar to a smartphone) for use when you're away from a WiFi router/hotspot.
Which one you buy, is dependent on your situation and you're needs.

Ged.

Or alternatively, you could get a 'tilapia' Nexus 7 and just use it on WiFi, until you can afford a SIM/mobile data plan...
Just a thought anyway.

Just purchased a Nexus 5 from Play. I'm retiring the Epic for good. It's been a beast of a phone to last from launch until now. I didn't see a point in investing in another GS2 battery for such an old phone. So time to drop Sprint and move on over to T-Mobile for a hopefully better network experience.
I'll be lingering around for the next few weeks until my order arrives. I'll continue to assist in Q/A as often as I can. Have a good one all.
Cheers. :good:
Lucky Nexus 5 guy... Good luck! You'll fall in love with KitKat (I already am).
