Dual-boot ROMs? - Nexus 10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is it at all possible to dual-boot 2 or more ROMs on the manta w/o something like modaco.switch? My guess is I'd have to mess around with the partitioning, and I don't quite feel ready for that. Thanks!

[Q] Availability CM10 and PA for Nexus 7?

Sorry I'm new to this forum, I'm Italian and not knowing much English I'm using google translator ..
Do not know if this is acceptable, if not I apologize to all
I wanted to know just one thing:
You will know when make available or Paranoid CyanogenMod 7 for the Nexus?
Instead about the Kernel, you say that Franco to make it available for this device?
Thank you!
Paranoid Android 2.54 is available for Nexus 7 s running Android 4.1.2, and PA 2.99 is available for Nexus 7s running Android 4.2. Download the pa-grouper file, and the jb gapps file.
I'm not the lowest of the low, but I am the slowest of the slow.

[Q] [F2FS] Lego Kernel - what happens with Android L?

I have a Nexus 7 2012 Wifi running OmniRom 4.4.2 with the F2FS Lego Kernel which really improved the performance of my tablet that started slowing down after about a year of use.
My question is will the new version of Android (Android L) be compatible with F2FS? Maybe we wont need F2FS anymore since ART will be the default? Just asking to know if I should revert back to a stock kernel and wait for the Android L release.
Thanks!

The lastest CM 11 snapshot for encore is quite good to stay. Why do you need that? To me, i am runnng ver. 2.3 Nokiejoys cn. It looks like ios, but the top on that it runs very well and smoothly. Have you given it a try yet?

installation of paranoid android 4.45 or Cyanogenmod 10.1.XX on Nexus 7 (2012) 3G

I am new to installing custom ROMs on android devices. This would be my first time. I want to install Cyanogenmod 10.1.2 or Paranoid Android Build 4.45 on my Nexus 7 2012 3G. I am confused about booting the device in recovery.
I think PA does not give any recovery image with its release. Also, on CM download page, there are no recovery images available for CM 11 and below. Here lies my confusion. Which recovery image can I use to install any one of these ROMs ? I am not sure if the latest TWRP would support these ROMs as both are 12+ months old. Any replies are welcome.
Also, any suggestions about which ROM is better in terms of customization and performance would be appreciated.

Good Rom and Kernel for Nexus 7 2012 (wifi)?

I got rid of most of my Android devices, and the Nexus 7 is only what I have currently left.
So i digged it out and was wondering what ROM and Kernel I could use to make this tablet usable for newer apps that are on Play Store.
I know there is the M-Kernel which I used before, but what ROM and Kernel is currently recommended to get this tablet as up2date as possible with a decent performance?
I'm currently running Stock 4.4.4 as I noticed that 5.1 is kinda slower..
Thanks!
Resurrection Remix 7.1.2
I've been using this unofficial Resurrection Remix ROM: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-7/development/rom-resurrection-remix-5-8-0-nexus-7-t3537968 . Booting the Nexus takes a while but runs pretty smoothly afterwards when using a few apps.
I use the Nexus these days to read, message, and as a workout timer. I can accomplish these things on this ROM.
