Auto enable expanded desktop with pie controls on landscape with Tasker - Nexus 7 (2013) General

I can't be the only one frustrated by the amount of space the onscreen buttons take up on landscape so I wanted to share my solution on CyanogenMod or PA.
1. Download tasker and secure settings
2. Enable expand desktop within secure settings options for custom roms
3. Launch tasker, create a state under "display" for screen orientation, landscape
4. Create an action under "plugin" secure settings for expanded desktop on (press the edit dropdown to select the expanded desktop options)
5. Rinse and repeat for portrait with the action expanded desktop set to off

that's a great idea, very creative. Thanks!

Some additional info
"Tasker" and "Security settings" are separate apps
To create the action:
Select 'Plugin', 'Secure Settings', 'Configuration'
Select menu button
Select 'Enable System+ Module'
Select 'Disabled', 'Ok', 'Permanent', 'Allow' root access, go back
Select 'Custom ROM actions', 'Expand desktop', save

Create GPSSetup2 Shortcut on Homescreen (Needs Launcher Pro)

Guide to create GPSSetup2 shortcut on the homescreen. First you'll have to download and install the homescreen and launcher replacement LauncherPro (Attached, link at the bottom). Then, follow these steps.
1. Press the center key on the phone. You'll get two options on the screen: 'LauncherPro' and 'TwLauncher'. Select LauncherPro. Let LauncherPro load.
2. Now again press the center key and this time select TwLauncher.
3. After it loads, press and hold your finger on an empty spot on the screen.
4. In the list that pops out, select Shortcuts.
5. Then select Activities.
6. After a few seconds you'll get a long list of Applications. Scroll down to GPSSetup2. Touch GPSSetup2, it'll expand to show more options. From this expanded list, select the first option i.e GPSSetup2 (com.sec.android.app.GPSSetup2.GpsSetup).
7. That's it. You'll now have a shortcut to GpsSetup2 on the homescreen.
8. After this is done, simply go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications and uninstall Launcher Pro if you don't want to use it.
9. If you do want to use it, press the center key, tick 'Use by default for this action', then press 'LauncherPro' (Much better than the Samsung Launcher and homescreen, except for the less colorful icons).
That's it. No need to enter that long code anymore to enter GPSSetup2 everytime..
Alternate Method: (By stubborn_d0nkey)
1. Download and install any cut (only 31 kb) from the market
2. Long press on a home screenc
3. Choose shortcuts->any cut->activity
4. scroll down to gpssetup2 and click on it
5. Click ok (change the name if you want to)
6. there ya go
if you wish you can uninstall (settings->applications->manage applications-> any cut and press unistall) and the shortcut will stay.
but it is only 31kb and it might be useful sometime in the future

I'm using activities in LaunchPro - that's very usefull also for switching APNs (exchange/google) but I haven't found any manual for gpsSetup2 (what each option is good for)

GPSSetup as (favorite) contact
Why not just set the USSN Code of GPSSetup as phone contact?
Type the numbers, save them once and "call" them any time you need GPS. So theres no need to install additional apps

Yeah, you are right, but there are more steps involved in selecting the saved contact and then calling to run it, unless you have a widget to store a direct link to call the contact on the homescreen. Creating the shortcut, although more complicated at first, is a much faster way later to access it.

Double Tap Home Button To Open Camera

When the Samsung Galaxy S6 came out I really liked this feature of quickly launching the Camera app by just double tapping on the physical Home button. Well for those people looking for something similar(like myself) this is a pretty good and easy way to make it happen, the Camera wont launch as fast as the GS6 but something still better than nothing, I will leave some Step by Step procedure with some pictures for references,so lets get started,
NO ROOT REQUIRED
Download Home2 Shortcut from Google Play for free. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eikatou0.appspot.home2shortcut
1-Open up Home2 Shortcut and scroll down 'till you reach your first stop - "Step1". Here, you'll assign the Home key to the Camera app. So tap "Choose Application", choose "Camera" and hit "Ok".
2-Next, you'll adjust the duration, or how quickly you must tap the home button to complete the action. So scroll down to "Step 2", tap the "Normal" drop-down menu, and choose "Normal"
3-Scroll down to "Step 3", where you'll complete an important setting. Tap "Choose Home Application" and select the launcher you're currently using.
4-Scroll down to the final "Step 4" and tap Close. Android will prompt you to select an app to complete the action. In this screen, select "Home2 Shortcut", and then choose "Always".
5-Go ahead and try launching the Camera by double tapping the Home button. It should work.
THIS METHOD DOES NOT WORK WITH THE SCREEN OFF

- Name task LTEtoggle
step 1 : Click + then type wait in the seach bar and select wait then select 1 second hit back
step 2 - Click + and select plugin then select secure settings
- Select Custom Rom Action and select LTE
- Select toggle and hit save icon in the upper right
-make sure to select continue task after error and hit the back button
REPEAT STEP ONE
REPEAT STEP 2 - WITH THE EXCEPTION - Instead of selecting toggle, select ON and hit save.
-hit back
- Select Profiles and click the + at the bottom and select state.
- type wifi and select wifi connected then hit back button
-Menu will pop up, select LTEtoggle you just made.
Long press the LTEtoggle icon with the little green arrow then select EXIT task
-Select LTEtoggle again.
-Long press on the TOP GREEN LTEToggle and select unlink task.
-Make sure the switch is on, exit in the upper right and save when prompted.
Open tasker again and make sure its enabled in the upper left and corner by long pressing the wheel.
- You will get an error from toast saying LTEtoggle failed but ignore it or disable.
There is your LTE toggle when disconnecting from wifi. Works pretty well so far...
You can create another profile and select DEVICE boot and add the LTE toggle to it. And you will have an LTE auto switch for when your phone reboots or other..
