Which one is better? Does the Grand Duos have a Gpu? How does its dual core processor compare to quad core of Quattro?
Main requirement is dual SIM with good display and battery life and also able to play some games such as Subway Surfers. I am tilted towards Grand Duos because of better camera.

I have galaxy grand and my friend has the quattro
I never regretted buying the grand
when using the quattro I Don't feel the extra bump of the processor and the games lag because of the quattro's basic gpu adreno 203
on the contrary the same game with the same apk never lag in grand even in power saving mode because of the better gpu of grand videocore IV
plus the extra screen real estate and better camera an 1080 play and recording of grand are all plus points for me
quattro is a joke really compared to grand in real life performance don't be fooled by benchmarking
and quattro practically has no development going for it that means no mods no custom roms and be grateful if it even has a rooting method "really bad for me"
that's my opinion and the decision is for you
Go for Grand if possible. Trust me, Galaxy Grand smoke away Galaxy Win miles away. Although Grand are using 1.2GHz A9 core + Video Core IV, are way better than Win Quad-Core 1.2 A5 core + Adreno 203.
Subway Surfers problem can be solved (If you having it) by upgrading your firmware. OTA or ODIN.
Grand is better than quattaro in terms of specs, screen, camera:good::good::good:
Grand is better in every aspect
Camera
Display
Gpu
Cpu
Official 4.2.2 update by Samsung
Bigger battery
Etc etc

Galaxy win is a good idea if you have your budget limited.
Quattro has high benchmark still poor performance don't know why... my brother has that phone...
I have grand. He wants to exchange with me. Lol.. now you decide...
To err is human; to forgive is divine
I think that Galaxy GranD Is Better than Win Duos ... win duos have an older processor ...

tegra now?...why so late???omg...
Its already available in India since a month. Its more like a Dual Core version of Galaxy S rather than S2. It has almost same features of Galaxy S except for dual core. 5 MP cam, 512 Mb Ram, 4.1 inch SLCD screen etc.
http://www.flipkart.com/mobiles/sam...qw--&ref=16a7bad0-7777-4e16-b755-cc8f2840eccc
it has 1GB RAM 4.19" and SLCD and flash LED.
I don't think this counts as a Galaxy S II, or even a Galaxy S device...
The closer aproach would be like an S2 SCL. S is i9000 and S SCL I9003, this is I9103 and S2 is the original I9100, so more or less like S2 SCL.
But it's Galaxy R (with different hw)...not Galaxy S2...though the code is I9103...very strange...
I have a Galaxy R (i9103) and a Galaxy S (i9000).
Galaxy R is a nice phone. Very very fast and good looking. I think it is very similar to the S2 (i9100) because it looks like it has the same crap implementation of the Yahama DAC. Galaxy S sounds waaay better with Voodoo Sound and I am still using it as my personal phone.
If the only difference is the CPU+GPU part, S2 ROMs may be kind of "compatible". Changing the kernel and other details could be the only needed actions to get some proper ROMs for this phone.

Lol? Mali plus exynos is a way more faster than tegra crap.

HydrOG3N is THE Revolution.
Tegra 2 is Android reference design for Android tablets. So it is not crap.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is also Tegra 2.
The Galaxy R does everything a Galaxy Tab 10.1 does, but it fits into the pocket of your Jeans.

Lol its very well documented that Mali is (a lot) faster than tegra II...
please don't start this again and do your researches before posting random benchmarks trying to prove something that's not true...
If benchmark scores were to be taken seriously, I can have higher scores than yours without overclocking my phone as you did to get those scores...

The back of the phone looks better than our Exynos models... we still blow every phone out of the water though in terms of performance .

On custom roms for sure Come on, why should you overclock if you have originally faster cpu (1,2 vs 1,0) ?
I tested both handsets (stock roms) and results of quadrant, smartbench, cf... were almost the same, little higher in favor of sgs2 (1,2 ghz ex compared to tegra's 1 ghz). Clocked to 1.2 ghz tegra had slightly better scores in every test.
No need to argue about that, I know what experts say about exynos' and tegra's performance. The thing is that for average user is really hard to notice which of those two handsets is snappier.
Hello everyone, first of all, I am galaxy S4 user, I have both octa core and snapdragon. I am pretty sad about the poor battery life of Exynos S4(I play a lot of game) and the lack of custom developpement in the i9500 section.
I am pretty happy with the i9505 even if it "lacks" performance(I know, even if it is already a beast with snapdragon 600) compared to the octa core and the future "Snapdragon 800" which will be rumoured to be integrated in the Galaxy Note 3.
I don't care if this device has 1 inch larger screen or something else. All I need in a phone is the absolute performance and the perfect fluidity when using. The only problem is that I am not somebody patient. I have to wait 4 or 5 month until the Note 3 being released. So does this device really provide enough performance that I should wait for it?
(if it uses the octa core, I am sure to not buy it). Thank you for your advice.
Even when the note 3 is out, there will be another beast coming on the way. It's a continous run given the rapped technology progress! If you are always seeking the ultimate best, then you'll have to change your device every +/- 6 months! Maybe even more frequent in the near future!

Be happy with what you have.
There wont be much noticeable performance again.

Yes, but this time, we will got the fresh new Snapdragon 800, I cannot imagin how gaming will be cool on the big screen fast device. It can be good to take note too.
Hello everybody, and happy new year! (kinda late )
My question is, that which phone is better. What do you think about these phones and do you have some experience with these phones??
There are a lot phones at the price around 230$, but these are one of the best ones for that price. (I think)
I prefer Galaxy S3 Neo, because of its functions and because is not that big as ZenFone 5, and because of its Android. ZenUI is not that bad on ASUS, but there is almost everything new and you need accustom to it. What I "hate" on the ASUS is design of the phone, but it doesn't matter. On hardware I think ASUS is better, but in camera not, it doesn't have that nice quality pictures and on S3 Neo look better. I will be happy If you post some about these phones what do you think is better and if you have some experience with it, if it is lagging or something like that. Just If you're happy with that phone (if you own it). I don't understand a lot a technology and I'm not expert , sorry for my english and hope you will post something. Thank to everybody.
Zenfone has 2 cores at 1.6Ghz and the S3 neo has 4 cores at 1.2/1.4Ghz. I dont know about cpu cores in mobile devices so i cant tell if those +2 cores are something wow.
ZenFone 5

Yes, it is true, but everybody says that its "behaving" as quad core 1,6 GHz... (btw. S3 Neo in my country has 1,4 GHZ CPU)

Well antutu says its 22k and the s3 neo is about 20k points. So probably take the zenfone 5 because of the bigger screen but i dont know if it matches the s3 neo in multitasking and general speed. Is it like "Zenfone 5 has an intel cpu with 2 that matches an amd cpu with 4 cores"?
I would always prefer to take qcom device because there is huge support from codeaurora and google ....
Also 1.4 x 4 ghz > 1.6 x 2 ghz , AMOLED > IPS ...
Well, I'm mostly listening to music, sometimes play games (games like Clash of Clans and more...) and browse YT or internet, so I don't think that I need some great multitasking. BTW. I have heard. that ZenFone 5's battery at Android KitKat is really draining... ASUS's Intel CPU is not acting like dual-core, there are some enhanced functions, so it's like quad-core. Also, ZenFone gets Lollipop on April, but i don't think that I need it too much . If you look at GSMArena, people are really happy with S3 Neo, but ZenFone, everybody talking about bad battery, and camera... - So, may I choose S3 Neo?
You can post some other phones for that price, for example some other brands, S3 Neo and ZenFone 5 are the most liked for that price in my country.
I'm not using my phone for games, I need some great phone, which has good battery life, big RAM (because I have a lot of apps on the background) and camera too.... it will be good, if it has some new Android (Lollipop).
Hey guys, now i'm using s3 i9300....i fed up with s3 due to battery life and shortage of ram ( I heavily debloated the stock rom...still no enough ram )... i want to buy a note device with stylus...i like both note 3 and note 4...I'm from India...so if I buy a note 4 l'll get snapdragon version (N910G) which would suffer badly in gaming performance:crying: ( yes I have seen lags in my friend's note 4 while Gaming )...I'm a heavy user ...I'm thinking of buying note 3 obviously Exynos version(N900) which is Indian Variant....so... Do you guys think It is wise to buy Note 3 in the end of 2015 (December)...I would like to use it for atleast 2 yrs....for me stylus pen is a must...Note 3 or Note 4 ??.....you can even suggest smartphones without s pen also??
Note 3 but not Exynos version .
Get the Note 4 man. Note 3 isn't worth it if you are planning to use a phone for 2 years. I would also get the variant which has better XDA support, if that's SD then SD, if Exynos then Exynos.

yep i can buy note 4 but i play some heavy games and some intense browsing, streaming but snapdragon version of note 4 (N910G- indian variant) lags heavily while playing intense games like asphalt 8 ,mc5, nova 3.....if there is no above issues in note 4...i would have bought it....these above issues made me to worry
note 3 exynos variant would not be better for gaming than snapdragon variant of note 4 in any case
adreno 420 in note 4 can manage about 3-5 fps extra than mali 628 even at quad hd resolution
Plus you would also benefit from faster internal storage and future updates
also adreno 420 can support many extra graphic features than mali 628 to say in simple words
I have used note 4 for gaming and there were no such issues in gaming
gaming in note 3 is good but there are many more options at this price range which are much better gaming opitons

firstly i cannot recommend note 3 for the simple fact that it would no longer receive any software support from samsung. Also raw multitasking(not multi window) like opening and switching between apps is very poor compared to nexus devices. Gaming is good but not great on note 3.I doubt it will be able to play new titles smoothly.
I am a hardcore mobile gamer and I can say that if you want a quad hd device that is good for gaming(good and consistent fps) then you should look at a good snapdragon 810 device , or exynos 7420. No other chipset will give you good gaming performance at quad hd.
other devices that you could look at would be oneplus 2, s6, nexus 5x,6p
Note 5 coming in January 2016 to Europe: HERE.
Hi all!
Please help me in a simple matter regarding AnTuTu
I am currently using Samsung Gakaxy Note 3 SM-N900(Exynos) and want to upgrade to Samsung Galaxy S5 G900H(Exynos) which is available in my country.
But I am a bit confused as I love the big screen of Note 3 and the better camera os S5. I know I can't have both when I am poor.
So I ordered S5 so that I can compare it myself. Either I will return the S5 or will sell the Note 3 in next 10 days, but I am stuck somewhere.
Technically, S5 with Exynos 5422 should be faster than Note 3 with Exynos 5420. I know RAM plays important role too, but HMP should raise the flags towards S5.
However, I am getting very low AnTuTu score on S5 compared to Note 3.
Just for test, I flashed both phones with complete wipe and "NAND Erase All" with latest Lollipop ROMS available and the AnTuTu I am using is 6.1.4 with 3D Benchmarks 6.0.4
The score I am getting varies from 52000-54000 for Note 3 and 44000-46000 for S5
That is some 8000-10000 point low for S5.
HOW can this be possible? All reviews show S5 has the upper hand, but thats not in my case. Should I consider replacing my unit?
I wont be opting S5 just for Android 6. I need performance as well.
Guide me please.
Please help at the earliest.
Thanks.
Who cares about benchmark?
I don't get what you want to aquire switching note3 for s5.
Almost same spec with smaller screen.
That is all pointless.
Ps. You should've bought g900f snapdragon. That suposed to be a bit quicker than exynos g900h
tapatalked
I comfirm this
Gta sa and lcs work flawlessly on note 3 exynos 4.4.2 but they lag on galaxy s5 exynos 6.0.1
antutu benchmark of my S5 snapdragon gives me 62741
Benchmarking is not relevant, plus the Note 3 has 1 gb of RAM more than the S5.
