Device: S4 Ting/Sprint
TWRP 2.6.0.0
CM 10.1
All MDC
I just installed Mobile ODIN from the Play store and used it to flash MF9 Modem and Modem #2
It rebooted into the Green download mode, I held the power off... it rebooted into the Mobile ODIN Blue android mode and said it flashed the Modem and Modem #2 then it got stuck on the Samsung screen for over 2 mins. I held the power button it rebooted and whent to the Samsung screen and now will never get past the Samsung screen.
I tried booting in to the recovery, wiping everything and then reinstalling CM 10.1 no luck..... I only have Linux computers.... is there any way for me to fix this?
I plan on installing Win 7 on a spair hdd and then use Odin3 to flash the whole device to MF9. Dose that sound like a good plan to you?

You have a good plan, just remember in the future not to flash modem with mobile Odin. It doesn't flash modem. I found that out the hard way also.

Wow, that took me about 10 hours to fix my phone
After installing Win 7 on a spar hdd I reinstalled the MF9 firmware with Odin 3.07... still bootloop with newest CM 10.1
Then I tried 3 times to download the compete deodexed rooted stock MF9 download keep failing or the md5 was wrong, arg.
Then I downloaded the One Click Rooted Stock MDC. That took 2hr's to download becuase it would not go faster then about 220KBs, arg.
Installed the full rooted MDC using the One Click Odin program, and my phone booted However Baseband was still saying MF9, strange. Wifi would not work, probably because of the firmware miss-match.
I then downloaded the Tri Force ROM and 3.1 update. That's all MF9 TW and now everything works as it should
I think I'll just stick with this Tri Force rom for awhile now... I've had my fill of Odin

I am rooting a G-Tab 2 7" P3113 that was given to me and having an issue. It is on JB 4.2.2 OTA and I succesfully did Chainfires Root method, but when I go to flash TWRP 2.6.3.0 in ODIN (was using 3.07, but also tried on 1.85 that came with Chainfires root download) whenever I try to load the TWRP.md5 it causes ODIN to go "Not Responding" status on me. And I've used ODIN hundreds of times, albeit never on this device, and never had this problem. Which my other issue which I've never ran into is, now I am stuck in Download mode on the G-Tab, and since I cant just pull the battery out and restart the phone, I don't know how to rest the phone so I can get back to Android.
So if anyone can help me figure out what's going on with ODIN that would be great. I have v3.09 as well but haven't tried running it on there, and I also tried a older version of TWRP and that didn't work either, just keeps going Non-Responsive on me.

Issue resolved
Sorry for the double post, I am having some issues with my PC right now, and it's not liking XDA forums right now.
Hi There,
I just bought a Rogers i337m S4 yesterday. This is my first experience with a S4. I have used a Note 2 in the past with some experience with Odin/Samsung however.
I want to flash the Google Play Edition 4.4.4 rom on it to get rid of Touchwiz.
First step is to root the phone.
I downloaded ODIN 3.07, download the CF-Auto-Root, extrated to get the .tar.md5 file, and followed the steps to a T... the update failed and now my phone doesn't turn on. It goes directly into Download mode on the phone when powered on.
I'm sort of freaking out as I can't afford another phone right now. Anyways with the Note II, I could simply flash the complete firmware from SamMobile via Odin.
Any ideas why this failed? I used a Sony Xperia USB Cable - would that be why?
I am downloading the NE1 4.4.2 Rogers Firmware now - and just downloaded Odin 3.09 now. I will dig out the Samsung Cable as well. If I flash this in ODIN should this at least get me back to stock and up and running again?
Just flash the firmware under PDA with nothing additional checked, correct?
Sorry for the panic
I downloaded the stock firmware and flashed, it fixed it. I then tried the CF-Auto-Root again and it worked fine this time.
Weird. Must have been the Xperia USB Cable? Only thing that changed.
Hello, so i was using the AICP rom for the s4 i9500 and it wasnt working very well so i thought i change to cyanogen mod 11 4.4.4 .I used TWRP to do a factory reset on my phone and i cleared the cache. Although i accidentally deleted the files i had on my sd aswell and as i didnt have a sd card adapter i thought i would go to the stock and just stay at that. I downloaded the correct file from sam mobile for the i9500 and used odin 3.09 to flash it using the PA. During the flash odin encountered an error and whenever i try to startup my phone it gives me a kies error and then it turns off. after it turns of it wont go back to the error for at least 1h. What Do I Doooo? :crying::crying:
Odin
Try using another odin version: Odin 3.07 if the 3.07 didn't work try with Odin 1.85
Info
I am unable to boot into anything. I can only get the Odin failure screen from time to time. Then my phone acts like its dead

Charge your phone a little
Download a 4.4.2 rom for your phone. REMEMBER IF YOU ARE FLASHING ANYTHING BELOW 4.4.2 IT WONT ALLOW YOU TO.
4.4.2 is a must (if you were already on 4.4.2)
Put the phone in download mode
Flash the stock rom via odin 3.09
Problem solved
Press Thanks if I helped

I have a Rogers i337m that was running gpe lollipop with nc1 modem, crashed while listening to a podcast and infinite bootlooped so i downloaded the original rogers tar and flashed it in odin. Upon reboot the samsung logo flashes then the screen goes blank and the led starts flashing blue. I've tried flashing a modem from the original mdj in odin as it still can enter download mode fine but it fails out everytime and I'm at a loss for what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
The only thing I can suggest is to flash the tar again using different cable and port. But I think you have a hardware issue.

I have lost the phone that has been working for ages. I am broke atm. Please help I need to use my phone. I was trying to get my radio to work again because I lost data a couple weeks back. So I have spent more time than I even should have for this trying to fix it.
I have run Odin 3.07 with
lineage-15.1-20190210-UNOFFICIAL-jfltexx
lineage-14.1-20190212-nightly-jfltexx-signed
and
open_gapps-arm-7.1-pico-20190209
I have wiped everything and tried 2 different system boards ;
from download mode I have
used I337MVLSGQB1_I337MOYAGQB1_I337MVLSGQB1_HOME.tar
to reload with nothing checked but F. Reset Time.
pulled out the cable then the battery.
went straght to recovery (system was going there already) to do first stage unpack with android and progress bar.
It said BAR and END
I went in back in after restart, and a full wipe.
And after a long wait .. the system very glitchy, slow like something was running in the background (modem ?) if I open the phone app it wont close and calls are silent. then resets over and over..
I have tried custom roms, and flashing latest modem and original ? Whats up ? anyone
PLEAESSEEE help soon .. I am going crazy cuz this is literally my only phone and I need to use it !!!!
Had an old system board and tried to replace it and ended up in the same place with the second board ?!?! what is going on !

I know your post was a while ago but you cannot use Odin to flash a custom ROM.
Are you flashing the latest stock ROM from sammobile.com or updato.com?

I ended up using the pixel experience rom. I am sure I have the wrong bootloader and modem for i337m though. It works with data when I reset network settings and re-enable. Data each reboot. For the longest time lineage 9505 ROMs worked until like Feb 5th I saw the data just fall use just fall off. I couldn't get chatr to work anymore. It was a nightmare I went to stock and , pitted the phone and it would only function until I added TWRP and tried a nougat rom or even with latest modem. Wifi was evn a problem. Now I am using like a lollipop bootloader with the green battery charging and modem isn't right. When I flash a different modem and bootloader in Odin and rip the battery and then cableit doesn't even change .
Wtf?

I'm not sure how you could flash the wrong bootloader unless it was flashed using TWRP or CWM. To confirm, boot into download mode to see the model # listed on the screen.
Are the modem and bootloader matched; i.e. the phone is running a 5.0 bootloader and modem? To easily ensure that both are matched, you can flash the latest stock ROM using Odin.
If the modem version is not changing after being flashed, it is possible that the internal memory is faulty.
