Hello folks,
I didn't find a real answer to this question yet, so:
Can I change the colors of my mail-account by editing some file of mail.apk?
Or is there another way to do this?
Thanks very much,
fooness.
This isn't Q/A or general.

Many Thx for helping!
Shawn

Unbelievable: I have a question, i open a thread
Ok sorry i didnt know that is possible to write directly a PN!
I thought the problem must be posted in the board so that everybody could learn.

Maybe because his thread has received four/five replies already (even if they are all utterly useless). I always post in the existing threads and rarely ever receive replies and there should be no reason why people can't create threads here.. Forums simply work like that.. Cluttered maybe, but there is no help board on these forums so don't blame members who ask for help in new threads.
The amount of time I've seen people complain about making new threads or asking questions makes me think.. If only instead of complaining and flaming you would actually help them then maybe the users wouldn't need so much help.
Sorry OP for side tracking your thread.
here are some threads you can read on customising SPB Mobile Shell

You have to edit the qa_status.dat, define your graphics: main image and the corresponding mask (which gives transparency effect). Try editing my qa_status.dat file and see corresponding result as a practice.
good luck.
Problem is that there are some many new users that are too lazy to search or to read a thread, there are so many threads about how to customize MS and they dont even know what a PM is. Sorry, I can´t and will never understand such people and its really not helpfull for us all on such a big side if every user makes it this way.
@greatbal
Thanks for helping but i still know the Files which i have to prepare to take my wished effect.
But thanks that u take a look at my question and did not make such a trouble if someone needs help.
I cant understand that it is so terrible posting a question if other threads are so big and not compact that it is hard for a newbie to find a special thing.
But its Ok. In future i will try to contact Greatbal with PN and you will see other Newbie will have the same problem and they will also open threads.

Hey guys,
I've been trying really hard to get a games folder or button in my programs launcher, but the menu doesn't exist under Spb Customise Menu.
I can only Add "My Menu" and then under that a games directory, but i've read many other posts where people say they have it already in their Customise menu list and just need to tick the box to get it.
I'm currently using Greatbal's Diamond theme for SPB MS 2.1 on an HTC Touch Dual.
Any suggestions?
I'd really like to have one folder with all my games as some have installed in weird places (when I haven't been able to tell it where to install).
Any help or advise is appreciated.

as cruel as it sounds- you shouldn't post an entire new thread for something like this..instead try searching like the person who did it for you in the above post
i acknowledge that, and if it's appropriate i have no dramas with this thread being deleted.
i did happen to look at both of those links before posting. all 1 million posts. haha. and didn't see the answer i was looking for.
i probably just missed it i guess. but i really didn't post without having a look first.
what he means is that if you encountered a problem regarding a specific program, it is more promptly suitable if you post it in the same thread/s regarding the application instead of opening a new one.
i know a new thread will gather more attention but surely it will not guarantee instant or faster answers than replying onto an exsisting thread.
also, there is the Q&A thread so if you have specific (and isolated) questions, you should post it there and hope that someone answers.. that is why it is called QUESTION and ANSWER.. not ANSWERS are here thread.
sincere apologies guys.
i'll delete this one and put it in the Q&A thread

Hi all,
Is it possible to customize the password screen on WM6.1 (the default layout is not fun!)?
If yes, how to do this?
Thx,
TD.
SDK
If you know you way in C/C++ you can try implement you own.
See this: http://msdn.microsoft.com/pt-br/library/aa923691.aspx
Download iGate from Clickapps.com. Its not a freeware but it makes your password screen much better.
http://clickapps.com/moreinfo.htm?pid=18491§ion=PPC
(It works for 6.1 even tho it doesen't say that)
please ask questions in the Questions & Answers thread
and please, again and again we ask, don't answer questions here.
that's why the Q&A thread read Questions&ANSWERS
cheers
Hi there,
Please don't shoot me down if the info I'm asking for her is already on the forums but I've been trying to find it for ages.
I saw a picture of Asus lamborghini ZX1 a while ago and wondered whether I cold get the same theme on my XDA Orbit. The closest I've found is someone else on here who's started to make one that can be loaded using the M2D software.
What I'd like to do is try to create my own. I've looked all over the place but can't find any help on how to do it. Can anyone direct me towards a website explaining how to create themes that I can install using the M2D software?
This might be a simple question but I just cant find it anywhere.
Cheers,
YP

Unfortunately it is not as simple as throwing some .png and .jpg files into a ThemeGen and out pops a theme. It is, sometimes tedious, editing of xml files. For a better understanding look here.
