Please don't shoot me down if the info I'm asking for her is already on the forums but I've been trying to find it for ages.
I saw a picture of Asus lamborghini ZX1 a while ago and wondered whether I cold get the same theme on my XDA Orbit. The closest I've found is someone else on here who's started to make one that can be loaded using the M2D software.
What I'd like to do is try to create my own. I've looked all over the place but can't find any help on how to do it. Can anyone direct me towards a website explaining how to create themes that I can install using the M2D software?
This might be a simple question but I just cant find it anywhere.

Unfortunately it is not as simple as throwing some .png and .jpg files into a ThemeGen and out pops a theme. It is, sometimes tedious, editing of xml files. For a better understanding look here.

I have a verizon 6700. I have been trying to download everything I need all day. I have tried different peoples programs, and it doesnt seem to be working. Maybe i didnt drop things in the right folder or something. I have no idea right now. If ANYONE can help me, I'll be up all night until I get it right.. I understand its your 2nd post here..but like everyone is told, please read the FAQs and everything before posting a new thread. A new thread only makes searching difficult for everyone else and makes the forum packed
Uhh......majority of the apps are simple ".cab" files, just click on them in the file explorer of your PPC. Really, it's that simple. If you need other help, post in the above mentioned thread, and be more specific, can't help fix a problem we don't understand ourselves!

Look for a thread started by Twolf. He had done it as a today plugin. Plugin I believe is called ThrottleHTML.

I want to make a skin by my own and tried to change the "perfect" skin from greatbal!
I want to change the icons on the front menu of SPB Mobile Shell 2.1.2!
I want to take bigger icons. Now my question. How can i realize it.
Where i can find these icons and is it possible the make the background of the icons visible?

Maybe because his thread has received four/five replies already (even if they are all utterly useless). I always post in the existing threads and rarely ever receive replies and there should be no reason why people can't create threads here.. Forums simply work like that.. Cluttered maybe, but there is no help board on these forums so don't blame members who ask for help in new threads.
The amount of time I've seen people complain about making new threads or asking questions makes me think.. If only instead of complaining and flaming you would actually help them then maybe the users wouldn't need so much help.

You have to edit the qa_status.dat, define your graphics: main image and the corresponding mask (which gives transparency effect). Try editing my qa_status.dat file and see corresponding result as a practice.

Problem is that there are some many new users that are too lazy to search or to read a thread, there are so many threads about how to customize MS and they dont even know what a PM is. Sorry, I can´t and will never understand such people and its really not helpfull for us all on such a big side if every user makes it this way.

Is anyone familiar with Rainmeter for Windows.
I know you guys are incredible with skinning phones and pda's but I am learning simple skinning with windows still.
I have a program called Rainmeter and I have this specific skin that keeps me up to date with stocks I plug into it. My dilemma is I can only get the top 4 to work which is the default script but when I add my other 10-11 stock tickers they don't work.
Can anyone help me? I have both the original and edited .ini script files for anyone willing to take a look and help.

Please use the find function first, there are several threads on this...
i have treid and i still dont understand, maybe ive been lookin in the wrong places.
First of all, your query is theme related so should be in the Themes, Applications and Software forum.
Secondly, once you're in this forum go to search option and type in 'Theme' or 'themes' etc and you'll be presented with theme options!! The wiki also provides info on how to modify your HD's appearance.
Thirdly, in future try a little more searching!!

Well obviously you didn't search very hard as the Themes, Applications and Software forum is full of themes and installation methods
Just did a quick search and found Maxycy's theme maker v2
Also, no need for language. People in this community do share knowledge and help each other. I pointed you in right direction and you throw it back in my face!! Then you say you did a lot of searching? I for one don't believe you!! Tried searching myself and after 2 secs after I found something!!

What Fallen spartan is trying to do, in his own way is try to get new members onboard of the XDA spirit of researching and reading to get done what they are trying to do.
Sometimes there just is no anwser to a question but most of the time you will find it documented somewhere.
It is known that the Forum search is not the best in the world.
That's why there are some tips to be found on the forum on how to search XDA using Google.
