Just got the notification for the OTA 4.3 update for my n4. But while installing i got the error "apply_path_check (system/app/music2.apk/..).
Does anybody knows how to solve the problem ? Thx
Your N4 was not completely stock when you began the update. You have deleted music2.apk from your phone and that causes the update to fail.
You should put it back to place or restore your phone to stock by other means

Hi.
If you have a 100% stock nandroid backup, restore it.
If not, you can flash stock Google supplied 4.2.2 images via fastboot. (Backup everything including sdcard if you don't wanna lose your data)
Flashing nothing but system.img might work, not sure tho.
EDIT: Here's a good read on how to get back to stock: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37925359

Hi,
I used to had TWRP on my phone and flashed CWM to install a few new 4.3 ROM because I heard they have a problem with TWRP and now I want to back to TWRP again and I can't.
Anytime I'm using goomanager to flash the TWRP ( 2.6.0.0 ) and reboot my phone I get CWM and it won't get TWRP.
I even tried app ( Flashify ) to flash the recovery img file and that doesn't help either.
Is anybody can help me with this ?
2.6.0.0 has given some issues

Hi,
I have a nexus 4 running PA 3.99 with it's stock kernel
And I want to delete ALL of it's data, I unlocked my device with WugFresh toolkit and it deleted everything, this is exactly what I want to do.
So I want to know if I can do it again but stay with Root, Stock rom and an unlocked Bootloader.
I want to use WugFresh's toolkit if it's plausible.
Thank you guys in advance!
Reflash the stock rom and root again!
I think there's even an option for that in the tool
But I would advise you not to use a toolkit. Of course it's easy to use etc but you won't learn anything and for example, you don't know how to use fastboot to flash the stock rom. But your choice

Sorry I don't understand what you mean. If you create a nandroid while you are stock unrooted, then you decide to root, flash custom roms, etc, when you restore that nandroid it while return the phone to the state it was in at the time of the backup. So when you restore it root, custom ROM, etc will be removed and you will be left with stock unrooted. Is that what you were asking?

I'm not 100% sure but I think fastboot will delete everything and even format /sdcard. So you should better copy all files on /sdcard to your PC, just to be sure

Well I'm not really sure what the toolkit will do, but if it does flash all of the factory images (including user data) your backup will get wiped. It's safer to copy it onto a pc before doing anything, then after you are done you can copy it bak onto the phone.

I don't know the app but according to the description it will work with all roms/kernels, you just have to be rooted
Only the GAMMA interface will not work. You have to be on Franco kernel to use it

Touchy, are we?
1. I don´t think I´m the smartest person in the world and that´s why I used the words "most likely".
2. You got better explanation, why others have no problem with TWPR backups? Besides, backup just creates a couple of big files - this can´t render your phone unbootable by itself.
2a. There are guides that tell you how to restore a Lollipop TWRP backup so that you can enjoy Lollipop on unsupported devices. Obviously backup worked for those people as well, so it´s not just Lemagex in post #6 for whom it works ...
I flashed a zip through TRWP and its works. But I didn't try to do a nandroid backup yet.
This also happened to me. I'm using TWRP 2.8.x i have a thread in the q&a section. Some said the 2.7 is working with lollipop but haven't tested yet.

Hi
I'm looking for have only battery text percentage.
Can anyone help me?
Sad to report, not sure if its my setup or this version of this mod but after a clean factory images update from LMY7D to LMY47I this mod will no longer work for me. It would successfully flash from TWRP 2.8.6.0 but with no change after booting up. Anyone else having this issue? maybe an update is needed for this mod.

OMG! I got it to work! it was TWRP. Not sure why the mod was working for others on LMY47I but not for me. The only thing that I could think of was that when I updated to LMY47I I also updated TWRP from 2.8.5.3 to 2.8.6.0 and I flashed the mod with 2.8.6.0. Just to make sure I used Flashify to re-flash TWRP back to 2.8.5.3 and re-try flashing the mod and IT WORKED! :good:
