Hi,
I used to had TWRP on my phone and flashed CWM to install a few new 4.3 ROM because I heard they have a problem with TWRP and now I want to back to TWRP again and I can't.
Anytime I'm using goomanager to flash the TWRP ( 2.6.0.0 ) and reboot my phone I get CWM and it won't get TWRP.
I even tried app ( Flashify ) to flash the recovery img file and that doesn't help either.
Is anybody can help me with this ?

don't use 2.6.0.0 at all, that's why we gave you 2.5.0.2

Since i upgraded to MG1 firmware and installed Goldeneye rom, i've been having issues with TWRP. At first, the recovery would hang when i would use the extended power menu to boot into recovery and it would work when i ust used Vol Up + Home + Power, but for the past 2 days, its been hanging at TeamWin blue screen all the time and i cannot boot into recovery anymore.
Would you guys know what i can do to fix this?
What version of TWRP are you using? 2.5.0.3 and 2.6 hung for me.
2.5.0.2 works flawlessly every time in my case.

It is in fact 2.6
So i guess i'll downgrade, is there any specific way to downgrade? Would you know how?
There is a flashable 2.5.0.2 around here somewhere. Find that and just flash in recovery. I believe you have to loki it as well.
Just keep trying to boot 2.6 it probably will eventually load.

Just hit me up--
Hi.
Where can I find the TWRP recovery compatible with my phone version?
Thanks.
I know it is not exactly what you asked for, but for now you can use the ClockWorkMod (CWM) as a work around.
I'm using the version shared in this post (CWM 6.0.4.1 flashable zip) and it works fine.
If you find a compatible TWRP please share, I'm also interested in it.

I have the latest version of TWRP installed, but I can't flash THIS ROM correctly because of an error...
EDIT: I've succesfully installed the 4.4 KitKat on my mobile with your CWM.
Thanks alot!
By the way, where did you find the TWRP that you tried on your L5?
Did you compiled it yourself?
Hey, which rom did u flash? I m curious to know which one u used as u mentioned u got kitkat wid it.

How do I enter the CWM recovery? I tried pressing vol+ / vol- and both together with power on, but I only get a brief flashing of the LEDs.
I have tried a lot of things, and already flashed CWM 6.0.2.8, 6.0.4.1, and 6.0.5.0. I also wrote lengthy posts about the stuff I tried. (I still can't open my own threads, hence I am trying to ask here and there.)

Soon i will update to 3.0.0-2
Ok, first of all, my phone model is i9505 (Samsung Galaxy S4 International version).
I installed last week a new kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2297379 on my phone.
Today I tried to install the cyanogenmod 10.2, now the recovery edition of PhilZ Touch says everytime that there is a prob i9505G etc, which I don't understand.
I think the kernel changed my phone number to i9505G, someone who can help me with this? Thanks.

Yeah sure, just installed stock firmware 4.3 so nothing editted, PhilZ CWM recovery and that's it.
Since the kernel it won't install cm10.2 anymore so yeh...
Nothing much to explain, I don't know why this happens to me, my model number jftlexx is correct but in recovery it gives a bunch of errors with i9505G and the model name of it, forgot it I think it was like jgdlet or something.

i found this after reading cm10 that you need to install a compaltible recovery for this "Make sure you have the LATEST version of ClockworkMod recovery. Other recoveries may work but will not be supported by CyanogenMod" either you use a Clockwork recovery http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397108 or you can try it with TWRP http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2468187 and make sure the file you download is not corrupt, please check the Hashcheck that u got the proper file.

As loki ist patched in Kit Kat, for a custom recovery to work you also have to use the old 4.2.2 boot loader and a modified kernel to work with that. I read that the app freegee will do that all for you

Hi there.
Is anyone here using TWRP 3.x? I'm still on 2.x, since I read of lots of problems with newer versions of the recovery on this device, but I'd like to upgrade now. Can anyone give me some feedback?
Thanks in advance
It works but as with multiple posts not with Aroma.

I see no reason to update if u have no issue on 2.x. sometimes upgrade is just a no go.

If you're trying to downgrade, it means that you've flashed TWRP.
If you've flashed TWRP, it means that you already know how to flash a custom recovery.
If you already know how to flash a custom recovery, then this is EXACTLY the same thing. Just pick an older version of TWRP and flash it the exact same way you would flash any version of TWRP.
And if you don't even know how to do that, google is your friend.
