Hi guys, got a little problem with my battery..
Sometimes if i check my battery stats in settings i see that my battery go's up for a while (like recharge his self) and its not even on a charger
And when i charge my battery on charger .. like 32% it jumps to 45% ..
don't know what's wrong with that battery
*when i pull the charger out of the phone.. it go's down from 100 to 99 in 30 sec
I try to reset the stats with *#0228# ,hit quick start, reboot and charge till 100% but without results. .
Try draining and charging while phone is off... That used to help me with random battery issues

MY Tab stops chrging at 99%! And when it is pluged to charger battery percentage is stoped at 99%. What the reason might be? After i recharge it from about 95% and it finish charging.
sorry for my bad English.

Same on most tabs. I think thats to prevent the battery from overcharging.
I believe the charging circuit shuts down when the battery level reaches 99%. It's a safety feature to protect against overcharging.

thank you for explanation, I thought it was my Tab problem... Now I'm calmed
It is able to charge to 100%, just that it needs sometime. Mine took about 1 to 2 hours to reach from 99% to 100%. After reaching 100%, you will see the indication with battery icon (full bar) on the notification bar (on top of the screen).
Battery life will be optimized and you won't see drastic charge from 99 to 90% within mins.
Double entry.

That is true. To increase lifetime u should always charge it to 100%, for me it takes 1hour from 99% to 100%,
Hi guys,
After a week with hard usage, I decided to adjust my SGS2 battery. Maybe you know this method anyway... It works for me at least and I can see the improvment.
Here we go,
Let the phone charge 100% full. Unpluge and turn it OFF...
Plug charger and wait again till 100%...Then unplug it again...
Turn the phone ON ...Use a few minutes DONT PLUG.
And finally, turn it OFF again and plug charger and wait till 100% full of charge.
Now you can turn it on and use...DONE...
Hope it helps...
This is close to the way of doing it, but the battery stats file remains. So to improve this further, you'll need to wipe the battery stats. Let it decharge. Then charge it to 100% while it's off or something.
So what does that give to you? Better batery life? How did you decide that it works?
Its like; after 10-15 minutes playing game, battery is still 100%

Yeah, you are right too...
Do not do this well posted bump charging trick often as your battery life will drop with too frequent bump charging .

Hi. I flashed all roms in this forum and i have problem with the battery. Now i am with 2.1 original rom with fastboot but my battery behave very strange. It did't charge to 100%(just to 99%). From 99% to 50% ot drops well but when reach 50 or 40 during a call it drops down to 20% or even less and then go back to 50%. And thats all the way to 0%. ( During call drops very much and then go back to the % before the call). Is there a way to fix this? Thanks

battery calibration
-either using an app called battery calibration
-or via CWM > wipe battery stats
When should we delete battery stats, when phone is fully charged, or it doesn't matter? Should battery be removed after wipe for few minutes, or? Should we than drain battery untill phone goes off, or?

first of all try a battery calibration program like this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration&hl=en
maybe it is a calibration problem.
as far as i know batter stats are not erased with a factory reset
then try an app like this :https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ccc71.bmw&hl=en
it should tell you the battery capacity and see if everything is working as it should.
good luck! i hope that will solve your problems, or at least find out what your problem is!
P.S. if it is an app related problem, or wakelock related you can find it with betterbattery stats.

That battery calibration app is a placebo. The batterystats.bin file doesn't do anything to change the microcontroller inside the battery pack itself.

Allow the phone to discharge fully until it turns itself off, by normal use and not using a battery draining app (or a benchmark). Then charge slowly and continuously until full, without making the battery hot, eg. by USB port on computer.
If you discharge too quickly you risk getting the red light of doom.

I missed it just a little, I got to 98% charge, but a few minutes and quickly under 93%. It is a breakthrough.
it was with a single USB cable charge (not data), lest appears the red light of death
tonight will try only usb cable data.
Greetings

Last few percent takes longer to charge, I think this is by design. Mine behaves the same way.

First try calibrating your battery by fully draining it to zero...take it out ...then put it back it and turn it on till the phone does not turn on at all...then charge it back fully see if it charges up to 100%. If not then your battery is failing and u need a new battery
