"Camera has Stopped" when tweaking certain Settings - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

Hi guys. I am having a problem where, when tweaking certain settings in the Camera App, the camera crashes and I get a "Stopped Working" error.
Specifically, if I try to turn "Voice Control" On or try to "Edit quick settings" I get this error.
I am rooted but on stock.
Can anyone please help me troubleshoot?

UPDATE -
Not sure why Edit Settings was crashing, but after a reboot that has stopped.
I did figure out why Voice Control was crashing...I had frozen Samsung S-Voice. Duh.

fresh rom 0.7+patched 2 "Forced Closed" on settings

when i got to settings > sound & display > Ringer Volume or Media Volume i receive this message "Application Settings - process com.android.settings" then it makes me force close. Can anyone help me figure why this is happening?
Just tested on mine with no FC on either. Please keep issues with the rom inside of the rom thread instead of making a whole new one. Thanks.

Force Close Error - Help Please

From Setting -> Sound and display -> System Volume/Ringer Volume I am getting the following error:
The application Settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. dumpstate_app_2010090612216_com_android_settings.log has been saved. Use *#9900# to copy out log.
I want to change the volume of the power on/off sounds because they are stupendously loud. Can someone help me?
EDIT:
Had to flash the firmware. Its now working.
Thanks for the help.

Rooted unrooted ? Flash a new ROM or anything?
I'm rooted, haven't done any ROM flashing. The only noteworthy things I've done like that would be installing SetCPU (conservative; min 100 - max 1000), lag fix, gps fix, and I used Titanium back up to remove some bloatware.
Cheap fix: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=759156 this removes the sounds that are made when you turn off and turn on the phone. Doesn't fix the FC though.
You can try Odining back to stock or flashing eugene's Vibrant Hybrid of Vibrant9 and that would probably fix the FC.
The audio removal thing failed, and I can't delete the .wav.
I didn't want to flash a ROM already because it is just my 3rd day with the one and I wanted to wait until a build that used the official Froyo build was made but I guess it flashing time unless there is another solution.
Did you try a factory reset?

If you have Rom Manager installed (and you should) open it, select FIX PERMISSIONS....let it finish...and reboot...and see if the problem goes away..
The Rom manager trick didn't work.
I'll try factory reset.
EDIT:
What persistence. Still getting the error. I just I will flash.
EDIT 2:
Can someone tell me which I need to use to get my phone back in its original condition.

You should look for an email you just received that may be corrupted somehow. If you figure out which one, try to delete the email (online). I got similar messages repeatedly after I created a Google contact on line and it appeared in my phone's contacts. I had left the year off the person's birthdate and apparently there's a bug in the Vibrant such that it chokes and core dumps when it encounters an empty year field. I deleted the contact (on line, because I couldn't get to it on the phone without force closing) and the problem went away.
I don't know if you're still having this problem but I too just had a similar issue. Long story short I found out that my volume was force closing because somehow my notifications sound didn't have any sound associated to it. Once I changed that I was able to access the volume settings again.
I also get force close errors on my phone (Vibrant from bell Canada) I sent it for repairs about 6 weeks ago... They flat out replaced the phone after 4~ weeks of waiting! Now after 2~ weeks of use its getting all kinds of force close errors AGAIN!

[Q] Media Server/3.1

I posted this in the original thread, but no answer.
Everything works except 1 annoying issue.
I used the stock 3.1 update, and rooted. Everything seems good except that Media server keeps force closing, but even though I press FC on the pop up box the MS icon stays on the task bar. Also when I press FC the FC box pops up 3 or 4 times before it stops.
The message I get is "The application Media Server (process com.acer.android.dlna.services) has stopped unexpectedly.
Thx for any help.
ETA: I forgot to mention that I did already try the clear cache, which obviously didnt work.

"Force close" all my app and hp go haywire

I am being recommended in another forum to manually click "force stop" all my app in order to save my ICS battery, in the end my hp always appear hang and need to shutdown by force.
I went to Settings, application, all, click Force Stop. Do note that this methods does not save batery life but it apoilt all my application.
Any ways to reset or unselect the Forc Stop key? My keyboard and print screen etc are not working

Debugging a Note 4 problem.

I am a noob when it comes to rooted phones and while exploring the possibilities I discovered that when trying to access the sound and notification I get an error "Unfortunately, settings has stopped." every time I try to access sound and notifications. I can control the volume of ringers and notification but that is about it. What is the best way to share my bug report here?
