how to write a goldcard img to sd? i already have a goldcard but don't remeber how to put it on the sd card, do i have to burn the img file to sd?
ok i used a software to write the goldcard.img file to the sd card but now i can't copy the rom file to the sd card!! it tells me the sd card must be formatted!!! don't know what to do and my hd2 is in a blocked stage http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44676181#post44676181

hi i took a picture of the file error.. whats this? my SD card is not locked..
but i can't copy or paste any file into my sd card. but if i use other sd card it will copy.

hi, i've been reading a lot on this forum lately, because i lost my OS while trying to upgrade with .exe file, so my phone doesn't work now, my wallaby bootloader 5.17 works just fine, i just need to upload the OS to the device, i've bought a 256 SD card, a card reader, i've uploaded the rom using xdatool exactly how you say to do it, i've put the card in and...nothing, i reseted, nothing, i went to the bootloader and nothing asked whether i want to get the rom from the SD card, what do i need to do now to start flashing???

Once I did this but I can't remember how. I want to take my mini sd and put it in my phone then boot to bootloader and have it copy the os / rom / dump to the sd card. Then I can use the bootloader to recover from the SD card.
How do I do this?

Probably this topic should be in a different place, but In some way is connected to my BA.(Im using xplode's WM6). Ok back to problem. So I have 4gb SD card and I can only copy files on it after format. If I want to add sth on a card files became damaged.(I have only one chance to write files if i want to add sth I need to copy all files back on my pc then foramt card and then copy files back on Card). Problem is connected to my BA because when i copy files on a device and from device on my card(by resco explorer) files are ok(i dont need to format card). So where is the problem??

Are you sure you have 4GB SD card and not SDHC? SDHC cards are not supported on BA.
I'm sure. Its weird cause when i copy file from phone memory to storage card files are ok. But whem I'm copying directly from PC to card throug card reader(or wm5torage) files are damaged,unless I make a format but format halps only for one time.
May I know the file system of your SD card?

i had this prob. on my previous card its due to the file format. Beyond 2 gb fat do not works so it goes to fat32 and but these non sdhc card keeps running on fat so this happens. in ideal form the 4gb sd should be 4gb sdhc to work properly.
this causes me to switch to 2 2gb sd card instead of 1 4gb. I also advice u to take backup regularly because u never know when they stop working properly.
so if its file system problem why my 1gb card i working(fat32 as well as 4gb). That could mean that 4gb card is damaged sp why its workin after format and why I can copy from phone without mistakes? Is there any way to change file system on a card? By windows formating i can only format fat32
I flashed my mobile a few days ago. But after flashing stock rom My memory card isnt mounting in stock recovery. Help me plz.
copy all sd card contents to pc
If you have any 2nd partitions delete them first using mini tool - if not move onto next steps
boot phone normally
goto
settings
storage
unmount sd card
format/erase sd card
your card should now be mountable in recovery (you can then create a 2nd partition in cwm if you want - note this will format sd card again)
you can then copy everything back to sd card
