It seems to say it will start to download, put the notification in the bar at top and go away. Anyone know what I can try to get it to work all the time?
Thanks.

This is what i just answered in another thread, please look before posting a duplicate topic:
As stated b4, try these options:
1. Wait About an hour then try again, the market tends to have issues some times.
2. Goto Settings/Applications/Manage Applications/All/Market/ then clear data
3. You can also try to install the latest market here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=953555
4. As well as another suggested by another guy pull the battery and reboot.
5. Another way another guy said update your prl and profile.
Yo. Are you talking about the MARKET or about appbrain? Just checkin. I had this happen on me when using Appbrain but you gotta install quick web installer. Just sayin.
but, yes, without a doubt, pull the battery, count to 1, and try again.

Since you have seem to post this so much and it was a hassle, why not make this a sticky? Seems a good idea.

....YES I KNOW THERE'S A NIGHTLY DISCUSSION FORUM....
This topic has washed around and around in Nightly Discussion and none of us have figured it out... UNTIL NOW.
With some help, actually most credit to the other member the Wake lock issue is solved I believe.
If you're running one of the CM 7 Nightlies and are experiencing Dialer as a PARTIAL WAKE LOCK, please check the following:
First, I bet you are using Google Voice and chose that as your voicemail service, right?
Menu > Settings > Call Settings >
Under Voicemail Service, what is showing? My guess is it says "My Carrier"
Click on it, select GV, let it prompt to dial the *28..... config number and complete it's process.
Then it returns you to the Call settings screen where Google Voice should be showing as your VM service.
Reboot, you're done.
I think something happens when first setting GV as the VM service. Personally my phone was behaving strangely when the first config ran, this is the issue and so far confirmed with several users.
I only posted new thread because this is important to many running CM Nightlies, and with 1000+ pages it would be lost on that specific thread.
Was getting Dialer partial wake even though GV was set correctly, so I don't think that was the problem. I don't see it being a problem anymore, wondering if it was fixed on the latest nightly.
I did this earlier today the wakelock was gone, but it's come back and it's still set to google under voicemail settings.

Sorry but this is not a fix to the problem. It also wasn't necessary to start a new thread.

Didn't fix it for me either unfortunately. I'm currently on #7 and reproduce it after toggling GV off and back on.

Honestly it's so much easier to track a single problem when it's a thread per problem in my opinion.

Yes I agree that it is easier, but it is also wasteful to start a new thread on something that doesn't exist.

No GV here, no turn over to silence, just wakelock

Normally, I would agree with you, but I think these days... I don't. This is a much more high caliber post when compared to people who want to ask about what PS3 game they should buy, or they got their cancer cured, or they just want to post about the new phone on sprint even though this is an EVO forum.
I say.... this post is refreshing!
Would be interesting if it was a discussion and not zomg I fixed the wakelock but it doesn't work for anybody but me
couldn't resist sorry. I really wish I knew why this was happening. I am also getting a wakelock with minimalist text that I cannot get rid of, though that one is not so bad
Swyped from my cyanogenized and gingerbreaded EVO
Turning off Turn over silence in Call settings killed the dialer wakelock for me.....
.....nope.

Well I am really sorry to hear this didn't work for you guys. Like I said, on the Nightly forum and also over on the CM site there were about 15-20 users who confirmed this corrected the issue, furthermore there was no one claiming it didn't.
Just goes to show you how helpful it is to have a place to focus on a specific problem, i.e. THIS THREAD.
Anyhow, I realize most of you goobers think I should've posted under the nightly thread, whatever, this is the general forum and I can post as I see fit. Suck it.
I tried this too, and it didn't fix the issue. The dial battery usage still shows more than 90%. Every hour I lose at least 10% of battery ... Searched for other solutions, but no success.
evo 4g, cm rc2, salvagedzen 0.1.2 havs bfs
Here is the solution:

I have never had a dialer wakelock problem. Went to sleep last night with 100% battery or so, woke up and had 94% or something like that 8 hours later
I just had a simular issue with this and wakelocks from Dialer. It was caused when I did a program from Verizon, changing my voicemail settings away from Google Voice.
A very simple way to solve this problem is by giving priority to the notification that does not receive notification
1 go to setting
2 go to application
3 touch the name of that app to open its setting
4 go to notification
5 turn on the priority
That is all
Do you really think nobody else has already tested this?

i solved my notification issue by his method plus i have locked the concerned apps in background and now i have not lost any notification
Unfortunately this method works only in some cases, and many people can't solve the notification problem in any known way.
In this forum there are already many threads discussing about this problem, it's useless to open new threads on the same subject every time...

There is one method to solve it though it is not permanent as you have to do it every reboot. But the fix is to disable Android's own Doze.
Enable developer options and USB debugging. Then type this adb command:
adb shell dumpsys deviceidle disable
That will fix your push notifications until next reboot where you have to do it again. This way we can still use Huawei's own "Doze" function.

FAIL
Wi-Fi and data always active in battery settings did the work for me on Simple Google Rom
Gmail native app was the problem before that. It might eat more battery, but I still have about 8 hours sot a day, with Bluetooth on 8 hours too and 2 hours talk time. ?
Guys check my post on 100% working solution for Notifications http://forum.xda-developers.com/mat...ues-huawei-t3345380/post66044102#post66044102

I have the eu version and I keep seeing all these threads about notification issues. I haven't had any with WhatsApp, snap chat, Skype or any other app. They come through instantly. Even when in deep sleep. What version is everyone having this issue on?

Hi... I've searched the internet and forums for this and came up with nothing... My frustration is that it seems every time I pick up my phone to use it, it starts updating apps... I know I can turn off automatic updates but I know I will rarely manually update... I also have it set over wifi only... my question is: is there a way, or a third party app, to control the time when updates can occur? I would prefer them to occur while I'm asleep and not using my phone. I have a rooted phone on a custom rom. I've read theories about using a tasker and greenify but there were no details. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Sorry about that.
Hello,
may anyone can help me. Since some days suddenly all Apps disappear on all 8 displays.
I do a restart, but this doesn't help. After some seconds after the restart it happens again.
After searching for I found a solution that has fix the problem for a moment, see here:
To prevent spam on the XDA forums, ALL new users prevented from posting outside links in their messages. After approximately 10 posts, you will be able to post outside links. Thank you for understanding
www_technipage_com+android-icons-disappear-from-home-screen"
- in short I stop the service "TouchWiz-Start". then go back to home screen and all apps are there again.
But after a while all apps disappear again from all the screens.
Have anyone a idea where that came from, and how to fix it (without losing all installations)?

It is possible I got to much apps installed?
(130 Apps & 7 folders on 8 windows / 8 is the max possible count)
one temp sensor get high pa_therm1 (Temperature of power amplifier 1) = 125 degree hot. Could that be the problem?
Thanks for answering.
