Is this also pushed to the Play Store? Or should I flash these separately

The original poster should of made it clear this is if you are running a third party ROM based off of 4.3. If you already have gapps installed, they will be updated automatically anyways.

flash should be working fine on any jelly bean rom, so probably dont have to worry about updating.
Look it up on Google. There's a fix which j nvloves you going into the system partition and just renaming the file that prompts the updates, just rename it

Does the cam app you have posted have HDR enabled? I've got a S3 and cannot find a 4.2 cam with HDR enabled.

I don't think its the app that matters, but the phone has to support that feature, doesn't look like the s3 does and my gnex didn't either.
now this is what I'm talking about thank you
I've just added this custom gapps to the Nexus 4 Complete Index

It should. Earlier I downloaded the official 4.2 gapps from goo.im. I took their package and edited it against mine. It has the addon script just like theirs. Only thing I did was update my package against theirs to 4.2.1. Essentially they are identical except mine has the newer JOP40D 4.2.1 google apps from the ota and the gestere keyboard, email and exchange2 apks including wallet. Then I edited the addon script to include those.

Is it possible for me to install Apollo music player in my Nexus 4 even though I didn't root my phone?
And if I can is it okay with CM?

Yes you can install Apollo, but it has been pulled from the play store

Been awhile since I've been on Android and n00b'd it up last night screwing with my phone. Hadn't made a backup and had to do a flash of the stock ROM losing everything. Saying that, I lost the Apollo music player app since it isn't in the Play store anymore. Does anyone have the latest version I could send to my phone? Everything I've found so far online has been from over the summer. Thanks!
I'm sure that if you do a Google search you can probably find the apk floating around...

Just extract the APK from the CM10 build:
http://download.cyanogenmod.org/get/jenkins/14161/cm-10-20121201-NIGHTLY-mako.zip
Then send the APK to your phone!
Edit: I uploaded it to this post, hopefully that's ok!

Thank you! :highfive:
edit: Thats not the version I had on my phone previously, but it will work for the time being.
edit2: Found a Jelly Bean theme so we're good to go, lol.
Can someone please post unthemed gapps. A lot of roms are getting themed, which is awesome but I dont care much for themed apps, especially the google apps.

Try downloading titanium backup and removing the gapps and then reflash the stock gapps. Hopefully, that will bring them back to normal
Try this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012857
You might have to delete the apps from system/apps first, then flash gapps in order to get rid of the theming.

If you don't trust with samfirmware then no more other should you trust too!
Just download gapps and flash them.
No need to flash the complete rom again btw the app which offers u to install modded google play also allows you to restore original google play.

1) device status can be made official if you are below 4.4.2 using wanam xposed.
2) gapps work on all roms. They are google apps combined into a flashable zip.

1) you can't downgrade to 4.3 from 4.4.2. If you currently are using 4.3 then it is ok.
2) install xposed framework then download wanam xposed. Open wanam exposed and go to security where you will find the option.
I am attaching a screenshot of it
