Is anyone going Upg their Note 2 to the S4 Zoom? - Galaxy Note II General

Hey guys, had the samsung rep in work the other day, had a hands on play with the S4 zoom, the camera is really drawing me towards it.
How does everyone else feel?

Its a good concept but coming from a note 2?
No way! The camera is pretty awesome but other that the specs of the phone are too low compared to what we have now.
The only way I would get it is if I had extra cash to spend and needed a phone stuck to a high end point and shoot!
But then again my note 2 takes some super awesome kickass pictures!!

I'd rather just save a few dollars and get a mid range digital camera which will probably out perform the zoom.

Seriously s4 zoom?

I reckon, the best and the quickest way will be is to, sell your galaxy nexus and buy one. I honestly doubt anyone will be interested with your offer...
Try an iPhone forum and you might find someone interested. We all love our Notes here and you'd have to pry them out of our cold, dead hands.

I go with the suggestion in the article that it's a bad Photoshop job. Besides the screen being unrealistically larger, look how close the top sensor is to the display which would be physically impossible to manufacture. If it were real I'd take the Korean mock-up in blue without question.
That looks like some bad photoshop work.
Haha that's for sure Photoshop. Notice exact same battery levels and also blurry graphics.

Completely FAKE.
If you look at the Korean version, the left side of the dandelion is fragmented because all they did was copy a sliver of the image and move it over to fill the extra space. Rookie photoshop job.
It would be funny if that is the Galaxy Note II

What will be your next device ?

hmm, i think since rumors saying note3 will be bigger than 5,5" and the last tegra 4 Benchmark iam going with tegra4 or S800 ofc it could be octa exynos also.
Note 4
I think this time I'll make sure I get one with the better build quality. I was leaning towards the Sony Xperia Z but let's see what Samsung has up its sleeves this coming March.

[Q] HTC One (M7) or HTC One X +

Hey everybody! I want to know whether buying the developer unlocked M7 from HTC is worth the $649 asking price or is the HTC One X Plus the better option being generally $200 cheaper with its 1GB Ram and 64GB internal memory and quadcore chip? I must admit the non-removable battery has me leaning on a Sammy Note 2 but is there a way to restart these devices without removing the battery for those of us who customize our devices? In other words, from a frozen state or the need to reboot the device, is there an iron clad way to restart the phone in these conditions...and I don't mean give it a dunk or a bat or use to skip on a pond. For those of you who have in your possession a M7...is the hardware living up to the specs? Thanks!

You can reset it by holding the power button, like the Nexus 4, or any iPhone. You don't need to ever remove the battery. I never once removed my battery in my Note, Note II, or S3. People act like it is such a big deal, it really isn't.

I'd say go with the One. It is a bit more expensive, but you'll have the highest end device currently available (to prevent any flaming: this is my personal preference. The Galaxy S4 is also great, but I dislike the design of the SGS4 and really like htc Sense) and you will most certainly be good to go for another 2 years minimum. The X+ is also great, but the tegra chip and battery life disappointed me greatly on the One X. I can't say anything about the Note 2, but I've heard good things about it. What I dislike about it is the giant screen, but that's again personal preference.

Note 2 because
Better screen ( bright power efficient amoled vs slcd)
Better battery life + removable
Better storage options
S-pen
No blinkfeed
Better camera 8 vs 4 mp
The only real benefit with a htc one would be build quality which is nice, but the note 3 should feature better build quality.

No. No, you don't. It's an opinion and has precisely zero to do with any "logic" that's actually veracious. Try again.
Your rationality behind why it's better (notably the AMOLED) is laughable. Why don't you add hyper-contrasted colors to that list since it's a widely held belief? Or the fact that most people find Samsung's UI ugly as sin? Or that the argument between 8 MP/ 4 MP is a total understatement? Or that you'd have no real way of speaking to the battery life of either device since they haven't even been in the hands of consumers yet?
These questions are, of course, rhetorical.

Screen size is irrelevant. Its based on the user.
Better screen? WTF LOL 1080p 468ppi vs 720 at like 260ppi... OK
3100 5.5 inch vs 2300 4.7
32 GB base storage is good. Vs 16/sdcard. This is a user preference
Spen? Barely anyone uses it. I barely used it once.

I have had a play with a htc one device a couple of days ago in a phone shop. Salesman was trying to sell the one to me on a 2 year contract. 15 mins after droning on about '1080p' , 'zoe' and 'blinkfeed' i just pulled out my 5.5inches of amoled perfection and was on my way.

Just out of interest have Samsung solved the loose battery problem in the note 3, you know where the device will switch off if it gets a knock? I know that wedging it in with a slip of paper helps but why should you have to do that in a high end device?

Note 3 or HTC One MAX?

I just read the "latest" leaked spec sheet and it stated that the max will ship will the snapdragon 600 instead of the previously stated 800,which is disappointing and pushed me back to the note 3.
I don't use the spen nearly as much as I thought I would so no biggie there, and I do like the idea of a fingerprint reader and the build quality.

I've been using the HTC one since launch and it's a great phone, but the build quality isn't as good as I thought. There are gaps in the construction. The non removable battery is a downer also.
