South Korea version has different design - Galaxy S III General

im really loving the south Korean design.
Will The south Korean version work On AT&T U.S?

I go with the suggestion in the article that it's a bad Photoshop job. Besides the screen being unrealistically larger, look how close the top sensor is to the display which would be physically impossible to manufacture. If it were real I'd take the Korean mock-up in blue without question.

That looks like some bad photoshop work.

Haha that's for sure Photoshop. Notice exact same battery levels and also blurry graphics.

Real or not, I definitely like the SGSII-style brick design better.

I prefer the international version. The round edges feel better in my hand.

I see no "SAMSUNG" logo on the other one...fake for sure.

I'd be very embarrassed if i thought this was real.

Same time??? Screen must be at least 5 inch. Gooood try.
Sent from my LT15i using Tapatalk 2

Completely FAKE.
If you look at the Korean version, the left side of the dandelion is fragmented because all they did was copy a sliver of the image and move it over to fill the extra space. Rookie photoshop job.

It would be funny if that is the Galaxy Note II

Another Nexus Prime Leak?

I was doing some searching on the web and i stumbled on this... I haven't seen it posted up anywhere yet as well as it has the latest information regarding the Nexus Prime (ie 4.6in screen and metal chassis)
http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php/5527/google-nexus-prime--sim-free-unlocked-
What do yall think about how it looks?
I really like it, just hope it isn't as big as the rumors are saying.

Remember that no captivate buttons = more screen space in the same size phone
Therefor... 4 in may be about the size of, say, an iPhone 4. I'm up for bumping the size up to somewhere between the Vibrant and the Evo and getting 4.5"-4.65" of screen (especially since I hear it'll be a Samsung phone!).

Just because the screen is bigger doesn't mean the device will be much bigger. Ics will have no softkey buttons, so the form factor will stay the same, generally speaking

Galaxy S II is thicker than the Iphone 4

iPhone 4 World's Thinnest Phone, Not Samsung Galaxy S II, well according to this arcticle.
http://www.pcworld.com/article/240075/iphone_4_worlds_thinnest_phone_not_samsung_galaxy_s_ii.html
If you read the article, it's due to the bulge at the bottom, at its slimmest and on average the sgs2 is slimmer
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
That still makes the SGS thinner. In a pocket, the SGS is harder to feel, and it has a better grip because of the bulge.
The people that wrote that are iCrap fans.
As far as I know in the past average thickness was always the standard otherwise every phone produced in the past according to apple was false advertising.
Sent from my GT-I9100
and why is this relevant to us?
Inside the bulge looks like empty space to me
The bulge is for the speaker and some of the antennae, as far as i know.

That is no longer true .

My guess is next month there will be no debate on who's really the thinness.

Android Police posts pic of Note II with Verizon branding.

Title pretty much says it.

Im fine with it... I will have a case on it that covers the button anyways, cant frickin wait for this beast
Sent from my MB870 using xda app-developers app
I think what pisses me off most, aside from how ugly that disgusting branding is, is the fact that they have the audacity to do it. It's MY PHONE, made by SAMSUNG, Verizon had nothing to do with it.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda premium
Maybe it's a protective sticker?
God that is horrible. I can't say I'm surprised but still. HORRIBLE!
I'm sure someone will come up with a clever way to get rid of it should that be on the final product though.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Luckily I will get mine without any carrier branding on it but why Verizon tries to ruin devices original design? It is so pointless to put a carrier logo on each device because its not made by Verizon but by Samsung instead.
looks like a sticker to me. The button is much whiter than the rest of the device, and if you look at all the photos on Samsung website it isn't.
That HAS to be a sticker.
I've decided I really hope they do logo the button. Normally the logo is protected under glass so I can't scrape it off easily...the button though, ah...all too easy to remove/cover. Logos on the front of the phone need to die.
Haha that's Verizon for you. Largest 4G LTE in the US but its rocking the 3G.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
Yikes... but realistically speaking we're all going to be using a case that will cover up the ugly text.
Why would you use a case that covers the home button? Unless it's an otterbox. That's only about 5% of people.

Verizon always has to have its hand in the process somehow. From branding on the phone, to handling the updates. I wish Verizon would just focus on handling the network and leave the phone to the manufacturer.

One area the iPhone 5 & Lumia beats the S3 is...

.. performance in the daylight sun. I find the S3's screen is so hard to read outside on a sunny day even on 100% brightness. This was the only thing I miss about my Lumia & the only thing I think will be nice on the iPhone 5.
Will Samsung ever address this issue on future phones or is it just a shortcoming of AMOLED screens?

Just my honest observation, am a huge fan of the S3 but it's a little annoying
I don't see why they can't incorporate some type of filter in the screens as the Lumia does.

Yeah.. the S4 could be as bright as the S2, I would not protest.

Yes, the S3 screen isn't as bright as the other two phones you mentioned but its not that bad either.

Some people need to stop being butthurt when somebody said something is better on another phone. OLED Screens are worse than IPS screens in sunlight, that's just fact.. most of us know, there's nothing you can do about it.
OP If you want you can try using Siyah kernel and adjust the max brightness value in the STweaks app, it helps a tiny bit. How it affects the health of your screen over a long period of time is anyones guess.
What you guys on about i have the International S3 and it is perfectly normal and very bright i can see it in very sunny conditions. When i first bought the phone it was a sunny day i was sitting in the park messing about with it i can see everything on my screen. Unlike my HTC Desire this was awesomely bright. Anyway i dunno what is wrong with your one though.
Maybe i am wrong who knows but i am not trying to be a fan boy i have both iphone 4s and s3 both are good phones in their own way. but the s3's brightness is perfect for me.
you must live in the desert.

My Lumia was worlds better than my AT&T S3 (at 100%) under basic sunlight, not sure if there is a difference in the screens for Int. S3 vs mine, I hadn't thought there was? The iPhone 5 has iSight that will act to combat the sunlight wash, so it was a pre-emptive prediction, as the S3 has no tech in it to do that. I don't get why they didn't put the tech of Lumia screen into the S3, it would make sense.

Its a good concept but coming from a note 2?
No way! The camera is pretty awesome but other that the specs of the phone are too low compared to what we have now.
The only way I would get it is if I had extra cash to spend and needed a phone stuck to a high end point and shoot!
But then again my note 2 takes some super awesome kickass pictures!!

I'd rather just save a few dollars and get a mid range digital camera which will probably out perform the zoom.
