I just installed Beats Audio on my rooted S4 but I dont have the "music effects" menu within Settings > My Device > Sound. How do I get that menu and make sure that Beats is activated?

Is there a way to make this louder. I cannot hear it very well at all. I saw in another thread about a code that can be keyed into the dialer that brings up a audio menu but have yet to figure out where to go in this menu to raise it. If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

For 2.2 (FroYo):
Settings > Sound > Volume > Put notification volume all the way up?
For 2.1 (Eclair): (Pretty sure it goes like this, I'm on 2.2 so can't remember clearly)
Settings > Sound & Display > Ringtone volume > Put notification volume all the way up?
i have been having the same problem
It happened to me with different roms but i found a fix for it. Just install the app Open Camera, open it, then go to option -> video settings -> audio source -> set to "Default audio source". Now when you record video with Open Camera you won't see any noise in the background
I found that there are no settings for Audio for music in One Plus 5.
Is there any way to do it?
Are you asking for a built in equalizer? If so, one exists in settings -> sound and vibrations -> audio tuner
Essential phone> On selecting an audio track it immediately launches with default audio player. Selecting 'open with' does give you the option of choosing a different player BUT only for that instance you cannot set it as default. Questions, how can I select an audio player permanently and how can I disable 'default audio player'?

Try to disable and deactivate the stock music player app through the app list..maybe it will play the tracks with the other music app by default..
1. Uninstall Realtek Audio
2. Type gpedit.msc in the Window search bar
Go to Computer ConfigurationAdministrative Templates-SystemDriver Installation
Then you click Prevent installation of devices not described by other policy settings.
Click Policy Settings --> Tick Enabled --> Click Ok
3. Press Win and then Press **** + Click Power button
Can you explain to me how Dolby sound differs from the standard sound?

Dolby reduces noise in the audio so your ears hear less noise from distortion, compression and you'll hear a clearer audio sound, then it's DTS for better quality. Tried to keep it simple, if you'd like a real in depth look you can go right to dolby.com and read all about it.
