Is this annoying issue fixed in Android 4.3?
bump
If you mean the WiFi notification issue, it is fixed on aosp based ROMs, but the fix is disabled on stock. The fix can be enabled easily though. More info on the two builds here

Strange, the notification delay wasn't fixed for me with PA 4.3 (the JSS-version and the newer JSS/JWR-version). I still have to use PushNotificationFixer from Playstore to get instant notifications.

That explains a lot, thank you
I was always wondering why Push Notifications on WiFi never worked properly on when running Stock 4.3 on my Nexus 4, but works when I was using one of the new 4.3 Paranoid Android Builds.

Not sure if it's maybe unique to me but after the 4.2.2 update, when I'm using swipe typing with the stock keyboard it no longer inserts a space automatically when I finish entering a word so I have to keep pressing space in between swiped words. Anyone else noticed this, or have any suggestions of something else that may be causing it?
Sv: Keyboard swipe bug with 4.2.2 update?
Works like on 4.2.1 for me

It's working fine here...
Do you have any mods installed? And which kernel?

I notice the same. It's only in certain input types though. I've noticed it happen in SnapChat and the Chrome search bar.
I just flashed the latest PA, 3.0, and the swipe text input has gone for me too.
I haven't got any ROMs or anything like that. Still plain old stock android. And yes actually it seems to only happen in certain apps like chrome. Talk and WhatsApp are fine. Anyone got any ideas?

Haha just got it. Nice
Mine seems more buggy after the update. Sometimes skips letters when swiping. Mostly works though. On stock not rooted. No other keyboards installed.

Mine has spaces every where excluding the URL bar on any browser .
This is happening for me too but I only notice it in chrome search. It's pretty annoying and only since 4.2.2
Anyone any the wiser on this yet?
It works fine for me. Perhaps it is a bug with some unrelated options? Try changing some of the settings and see if that changes something.

Hmm can't really think of where to find settings to change. Any suggestions what type of thing to try?

please don't report any CM 10.2 bugs
there are a lot of them
I will not start to fix CM bugs cause I will not stay on CM. So I will just sync whatever CM has changed
so this is mostly to find device specific issues cause those will happen on all custom roms

First of all, congrats on the build. It's running much better than I could have hoped for, and I haven't seen a bug so far.
I'd like to let you know that the application I mentioned in the official CM thread a couple of days back runs properly on this build. I haven't had time to compile a proper test app for you, so I'll just throw the APK in here if you'd still like to test it. I'm suspecting it's an issue on 4.2, but I haven't had access to another 4.2 device so far. If you'd prefer I post this in the official thread instead, just let me know.
Anyway, the APK can be found here. The included fade animations turned out to have no effect on performance, so don't worry about that. The mere presence of the two backgrounds causes the application to grind to a halt, I noticed it in another app as well.

A rather minor bug, but the hardware key LEDs don't dim with the screen like they would on CM10.1. I must say they're quite bright in a dark room.

which supports separate settings for screen and keys

both to the same value

This has been an issue for me in 4.3 or any 4.3 ROM with the AOSP messaging app. I'm getting extremely tired of it freezing up my whole phone for 10 seconds at a time. Is there seriously no way to fix this awful issue?

My recent cm 10.2 builds are doing this since last week.. Hopefully its something they are aware of .. getting annoying. At first I thought it was my Swype but it happens on other keyboards as well..
Thank God i am not the only one that experience this. I have had that freeze three times already. Twice last week and once yesterday. This morning my phone rebooted by itself for the first time since running any CM10.X. I hope this is a bug that will be crushed in the next few builds.

I've had it for so long, I'm not sure if anyones on it to fix the problem or not. I'm actually thinking its a general 4.3 bug not just a CM10.2 bug.
You are right. It's a deadlock on all JSS builds used in cm 10.2

The problem is in the AOSP source. The fix has to come from Google. We won't see it soon, as Google is working on 4.4 now.
Until then, try JWR/JSS hybrids. They don't have deadlocks.
I remember recently that there was an alternative to LightFlow being featured somewhere (forget if it was XDA or Reddit or somewhere else).
Does anyone remember it? I believe it was a bit more lightweight than LF.
EDIT: Decided to make this the general Nexus 5 LightFlow thread since that's what it pretty much became.

I could find and try this one only.

But eventually I moved back to light flow because it works better for me in KitKat.
I prefer light flow. I like being able to set it to dismiss the light as soon as I turn my screen on. Quickest way to get the light to stop blinking.

How about getting the led to be always on?
I've always liked it better than pulsing, and set it up like that in the Galaxy Nexus, but can't get it to work on the N5 yet.
is it worth having root mode on as well ?

I see the very first app i ever purchased on the android market for my old N1 is still getting updates (sept 2013).... TrackBall Alert Pro... also Trackball Alert..
updates say it will work with any trackball (hah i miss that thing) and RGB LED.. from what i remember it was a pretty minimal app that let you choose colours/flash rate/etc...
