anyone got any good suggestions? I wanna be able to compile and pack Roms from my handset while I'm without a box atm... any possible way? being that most of the kitchens are Linux based could I potentially run dsixda's kitchen from a rooted device and output to the card?

Just get a netbook. They are almost the same size.
PS. thanks for your ROMs so far. Ver very nice.
I am currently running ubuntu on my nexus 7 via VNC, and I found out that you cant hear the audio via VNC. Is there any other options to bypass this, and listen to the audio on my nexus 7 from ubuntu without having to do a full install? or is there a way to dual boot on the nexus 7?

Could somebody build a JOP40G rooted stock ROM with init.d support?
Don't wanna install a virtual machine + ubuntu to do it all the way by my own.
+I'm not such a good developer like other members here @xda.
thank you
Re: [REQ] rooted RUU of JOP40G?
RUU's are solely for HTC phones.

Most of the "developers" on XDA aren't actually developers
AW: [REQ] rooted ROM of JOP40G?
I know it. I just don't wanna install oracle with Ubuntu and dsixda kitchen plus the files for N4 and so on just to create one build of a rooted stock ROM. I know there are some folks with Linux on their desktop and better knowledge then me (btw I can actually build ROMs which isn't that hard) but I don't wanna install something which will be uninstalled some hours later
Hope you understand my meanings better now.

So I'm dual-booting Ubuntu 13.04 and Android 4.2.2, about to add Plasma Active.
Is there a Fedora 18 ROM, meego zip or .tar.gz ported to nexus 7 and also the same for webos?
I'm just looking for something with multirom support.

Has anyone tried Ubuntu on new nexus 7?
like this
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Nexus7/Installation
That's for the first gen nexus 7 right? I've actually wanted to try it but don't want to be the first to mess with that until I got a confirmation that it works on 2nd gen tab. Because i would like to run Ubuntu on it to work on my programming on the go without having to carry my laptop.

We'll still just support the old Nexus 7 for now, as we first need to
start the port for the latest device. It should work, but the main
problem is that the device is based on Android 4.3 by default, so it
requires us to make our layer compatible with that as well (at least
the 4.3 based binaries).
Don't have the device, so can't give more details, but don't see why
not (we would at least have the same possibility to distribute
binaries, so we could also produce such a build once the port is
done).
Cheers,

The developer of MultiRom reached his goal on his Indiegogo campaign, so we should be getting it soon.
