Ok thanks for the reply.... But I'm not sure how to boot into recovery now that I'm running stock
Turn off your phone, boot in fastboot mode (vol up, down and power button), move to recovery with volume buttons and press power then press vol up and power for some second and you should see options

So I have this strange issue. I just tried shutting my tablet down so I can reboot to recovery to flash something. (Mind you, I haven't flashed anything in a few days)
So I shutdown and I can't access recovery. It just wont boot. Vol+, Vol- and Power at the same time. I tried going power first, then volume and vice versa but no dice. My volume buttons and power button work perfectly fine while in the ROM.
Now at this point I was like, "Screw it, I'll boot into the ROM" but no.... It wouldn't even turn on. I tried plugging it in and nothing (~70% battery when shutting it off). Then I plugged it into my computer and it showed "Device driver software was not successfully installed" with a device named "QHSUSB_DLOAD".
Quick Google-ing made me think I bricked the device. I ended up just holding on the power button for a good minute and it finally booted into the ROM. I'm still unable to boot into recovery via Power + Volume Buttons... I have to use an app to boot me into it.
Why? What happened / is happening?
I'm not sure with the N7, but with my SGS III that's what happened when it bricked.

Yeah... very strange. I'm able to get into the bootloader without a problem... only through an app.
Can you attempt to reflash your recovery?

Could you double check you are pressing the right buttons based on these instructions:
[Info] Guide to entering safe mode, bootloader, stock recovery
You are NOT supposed to press 3 buttons, Vol+ and Vol- and Power as you described, rather just 2 buttons depending on whether you want recovery or bootloader.

Well now I feel like a total dimwit.
I guess I was so used to my Galaxy Nexus... I did a Google search on how to access the N7 recovery but I guess I glanced over the instructions too quickly.
This thread can be locked, lol.
BTW sorry, I fixed the link.
i have the problem where it says after lg logo
fastboot mode started
ubc_start()
i then managed to turn off the phone holding the power button
and tried to get into recovery mode using vol down + power button and after lg logo appears releasing the buttons and then holding them again
this got me into a white screen with two options to choose from
factory hard reset
permanently erase user data & reset settings?
press power key to confirm and any other key to cancel
how do i really get into recovery? twrp
and if i press the power key now will it erase everything on the phone? internal storage? music photos ect?

Pushing a thread after 10 minutes? Wow, you have a great patience..
btw, i doubt that you can fix it because you cant even use google, but anyways... https://www.google.de/search?q=lg+g...nnel=fflb&gfe_rd=cr&ei=cYUMU6iEG-fa8gew7oGYAg
5 seconds google...
If you have twrp installed that menu won't erase the phone, it will start twrp. And questions go in Q&A not General

I accidently wiped Internal storage completely using TWRP now my tablet showing OS not installed and stuck at GOOGLE logo screen .. How to get in to recovery mode from this stucked screen ? ;(
Hello,
I have completely wiped my device the same way as you did and I did not brick mine so you should be okay. See if the following helps:
1. Hold down the power until it turns off.
2. While holding down the volume down, turn the device on which should take u to your device loader
3. Push down until u see recovery
4. Press the power button and u should be twrp.
If you can get the tablet into fastboot you will be alright. Reboot the holding the volume down button, then reflash the stock image.
ADB interface error

My bootloader is locked. I accidentaly erased it. Dont even remember if I had usb debugging on or off? It does power up and charge properly, and yes I am using an OTG USB adapter cable.....Help...

first of all - never, but never delete/wipe your internal storage...
second - and i've wrote this many times already:
to turn the device completely off
- your usb cable must be disconnected
- have the device charged for more than 50%
- press pwr button for more than 10 seconds
- at some point, LG logo will show - DO NOT LET THE PWR BUTTON OFF - KEEP IT PRESSED
- only then the device will be powered off completely with the black screen
THANK YOU!! you are awesome.. I misunderstood and i thought that i should wipe everything.. What do it do now?

now you find the thread on how to transfer a rom to a device directly from twrp or adb... or how to flash KDZ stock (then reroot and go from scratch)
i've never done it because i've never messed up anything on my device (my luck) - so i don't know in details - but there are threads on this subjects...
btw one more thing i've noticed in your 1st post - you had an .img rom file
you can't flash .img in twrp - you'll need the rom .zip file...
how do i access TWRP?
search on which button combination to press to enter twrp... (but before you try the key combinations - have the device powered off completely as described above)
on my device and 20h bootloader its
- press and hold pwr button + volume down
- lg logo shows (let the buttons go for a second or less)
- quickly press and hold pwr button + volume up
that works on my device...
you probably have older bootloader (20a) so you can try
- press and hold pwr button + volume down
- lg logo shows (let the buttons go for a second or less)
- quickly press and hold pwr button + volume down again
now - if you have TWRP installed - it will show you a white screen (factory reset) with yes/or no buttons - just answer YES to all and it will boot to TWRP (you answer with volume up/down keys for selection and pwr button to confirm)
if nothing of that works - try searching for other key combos... but afaik those are the only two that exist - depending on bootloader...
Hello all, i have SM-T230 Galaxy Tab4 7.0''. I was installed TWRP and formatted data, for installing a custom rom i was rebooted into recovery mode but device keeps Samsung boot animation. I'm forced reboot for download mode; isn't worked. Tried same for recovery; isn't worked. Now device just stucks at boot animation. Help me please.
Are you sure that you pressed volume (- or +, it depends on what you want to do) home and power buttons enough? Tablet should reboot at least (you should see this when screen gets black for a while)

I don't know what to do then...
I'm not sure but some other android devices won't boot into download mode if battery is low. I don't know if this is case with tab 4, but you could try to charge tab and then try to hold "volume down" + "home" + power.
You could also try to keep holding those for 2 resets, because it could be that your device is "boot looping" to recovery which might have been wrong version and keeps failing.
