Give it some time.
I felt the same when I used Note.
Few days later, it was all back to normal.

Hi guys! I'm thinking of buying an idea blade and I really care about the battery life. So is anyone here getting around ~2 days. I don't use the phone much, except for wifi ~1hr/day and very less calls/messages.
thanks in advance
whyzee
you're probably pushing 2 days. I charge mine every night and it's usually at about 50-55% so 2 days could be done if it really is minimal use.
I also think this phone is getting very outdated now, I'd buy something else
For a little more money you could the Galaxy Ace or the Motorola Defy+. Way better phones

I reckon from my experience that u should go up for galaxy y. Here idea blade costs 5999 rs but a grand is all u need to change.
Plus blade's battery life is very poor especially if u connect to wifi

Hey guys!
I am planning to buy a HTC One or a S4. (Oh another of those comparisons)
Well, the One is sold at SGD 488 (USD 385) for the 32 GB version, while the S4 (GT-I9505) is sold at SGD 578 (USD 457) for the 16 GB version.
Is the S4 really worth the extra price and lesser storage space?
I only have 8gb SD cards around, I care for heavy gaming like MC4 and GTA VC and good ROMs. I also take pictures and videos quite often, and I DO care for a SUPERSMOOTH UI and GREAT BATTERY LIFE.
Which should I get? Thanks in advance.

I don't own the HTC One, but I just hate its ugly face with the 2 ugly speakers on the top and on the bottom. Even its build quality seems to be what some people call "metal Premium"(that always make me laugh), its performance and its uni body design just doesn't appeal me. However it seems that its screen and its camera are very good.
Battery wise you can always get a second battery and a dock. This way you'll always have a second fully charged battery with the Samsung.
With the HTC, you'll have to rely on the charge of a single battery and/or frequent chargings.

I understand that the Nexus is very cheap and affordable when bought from the Play store, but in my country Singapore, it is not that cheap as there is no Google Play services available here apart from the app market.
Thanks for the suggestion though..

I have had the Nexus 4 too and in smoothness and speed when opening apps and widgets it is much faster than the S4. But then the N4 doesn`t have a 7GB rom + features But i missed some very usefull features offered by Samsung that i like to use and after a while i found the Nexus 4 a bit boaring. So overall i would say that the S4 is not fully worth the price of 650 euro`s that for 369 euro`s the Nexus 4 is a very good phone and offers the latest updates by Google.

I run all my games flawlessly, a little lag happens rarely sometime, but globaly, it runs everything perfectly. I have the i9500 octacore. I don't try the i9505 one. From all the review and test I saw, i9505 suffer from little lag using Air features and has less fps in games. I tried Zombiewood(gameloft) on i9505 and i9500, when there are a lot of zombies who appear, the i9505 become really laggy whereas the i9500 still run flawlessly.
Well I am quite satisfied with mine.. I must say that it is fast enough and even faster with custom roms and kernels...
Camera is pretty good... Not in the dark but then again does not matter much
Quality of video is great and the sound is okay..
I have had an HTC before and it was okay but so sadly built...
The screen here is great... I have no problems with mine

Off topic.. I used Sony for years.. Love their design and UI... Which is why I have modded the stock message app so it has the smileys from Sony.. Just wanted to share as I saw your username
On topic... I use faux kernel and deodexed AME2 rom... There are custom roms but I loose my LTE no matter what I do, with the deodexed rom from djembey I can mod it as I want and I have pretty good battery life... All that can be black on my screen is black almost. As amoled don't use power on blacks

3D performance.. i have not had any games that lag or anything...which one did you go for ?
I went for the S4, decided that I needed the 13 MP camera. Can we change the speed of animation to be faster (when opening apps, switchong between apps, etc) to be like the One's? I hate the speed of the S4, makes the phone look slow when it is not.

but for you the HTC one might be better unless you were somehow dissapointed by HTC or Sense

It's a good offer, it's pretty cheap (that's at least my opinion)
I upgraded from the HOX don't regret it for a second. First thing I noticed was battery life far far better. S4 is faster got a better screen louder. I personally prefer TW to sense. You wont regret the upgrade.

Hey.. I upgraded from hox to gs4 and i think it was a great upgrade.. I do not regret it one second.. But i was kind of bored of htc sense for some reason so might be why haha i guess if you like htc sense (which i also do.. A great ui but like i said.. Was bored of it..) if you have the chance to test htc sense 5.. Do it and then you decide touchwiz is not very special either but i wanted all those fancy smart functions hehe
And just so i dont forget.. What gs4 are you thinking of?
GT-I9505 OR GT-I9500? I have I9505 snapdragon version which i think have better support on custom roms atleast what i have heard.. Migth be diffrent now i dont know
/ Wrix

Go with the HTC ONE, much better than the S4 at all aspects.. I had an S4 before and I switch to the ONE. Totally worth the change!!Trust me or see reviews, almost all the experts choose the One over the S4..
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
Might be true but i guess thats kind of individual, What you are searching for in a phone and what you want the phone to be specs vice they are pretty much the same and micro sd card and removable battery was great for me but like i said thats individual and only you know what your searching for in a phone

As far as I saw the GT-I9505 (Snapdragon version) has good developer support! It even has official CM (http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Jfltexx_Info), I just won't be able to tell you about experience with it because after I flashed the 4.3 Leak I'm happy with it and didn't change , I can tell you that it runs amazingly anyway \m/. I'll just tell you one thing before! I think you should only buy if you're in urge! Because soon is November and that (probably) means new Nexus! Also your device is from the last year, so it's still a nice thing. If you really want to get a new phone now, S4 is good enough !

I personally suggest you to buy Google Motorola Moto G. It is not yet released in India. Even though it costs only Rs.13k - 14k. Wait for it and buy it. Currently only little developments have started on xda (I suppose) but is expected to soon pace up. This phone is expected to release in 3rd week of January, 2014.
Press thanks if I helped.

Go for Sony or Google. I was once for for Samsung, but I would say Samsung has turned a bit against developers (remember SGY egl drivers). But Google and Sony are being very supportive to developers.

then again, they dont seem to be using Broadcom chips or other manufaturers who are "closed sources"
HnnnnnnnnmnHmmmmmmmmGpuuuuuuuuuuuuu
general tip: don't get phones with broadcom chips
I suggest you buying a Google Nexus phone. They do have a very smooth performance and they can also be found at a reasonable price from Google Play (only at U.S.). They're the perfect phones to experiment with. And the best is that they receive the newest Android from Google. Search at Google.
They're very easy to root and are compartible with the most ROMS. That means that they are developer friendly.
